But really..... the attraction is the ownership and employees. These folks actually CARE about your stay and your experience! (Such a rare commodity these days!) Can't recommend this place enough! I highly suggest a long weekend.. ("StayCation") if you are local. And if you are in town for a concert, sporting event or just a visit..... you would be hard pressed to find a better option! The weather? Absolutely perfect. Pretty sure someone pulled a few strings upstairs, because it was the kind of weather that makes you suspicious. ("Okay, who ordered the deluxe sunshine package?" ) Cheeky perks: * So peaceful you can actually hear yourself think... which is slightly terrifying if you travel with teenagers. * The views are so pretty you'll forget all about your Netflix queue. * Campfires taste 37% better here -- don't ask us why, it's science. We'll definitely be back -- unless the weather fairy calls in sick.

The roads are a little confusing if some of them are one way or not. The waterfall area is quiet and pretty. They had some picnic tables. There was a staircase to view it closer and the stairs were a little sketchy. The beach area was pretty wide and we found space. They have a little snack area and a dive center. They also have an inflatable obstacle course for purchase. The restrooms were messy and smelled. The beach was clean and they had trash cans. The quarry water was clear and the water was nice. They have primitive camp sites and electrical sites. We saw that most of the electrical sites seem to have full time residents there. Overall it's a great spot to check out and relax at.

We spent the night last night it was quite pleasant. There were a few lid and obnoxious people riding around yelling on a golf cart last night keeping everyone up. But thankfully the owners were on top of it. We took showers at the bathhouse and it was nice. They have serveral different amenities not found everywhere else and wonderful customer service. Prices are affordable. We have had a wonder time and will definitely come back. I would totally recommend!

We didn't actually camp- neither of us was up for that- but spent most of two days here, while most of the family stayed onsite for four days. The owners are friendly, and let us set up a large area for the tents, tables, cooking, etc. Some sites have water and electricity. There are plenty of trees, a pool, a pond, etc. Firewood and ice are available at decent prices. There seemed to be lots of families here, many with dogs, generally quiet. The kids can chase frogs, swim, play games, while the older folks talk/tell goofy stories. It's not far from Indiana Beach, places to fish, etc.

My wife and I must look like alcoholics, because everyone we met liked to remind us about the rules of open liquor( by the way we don't drink). The camp spot is just grass with water and electric. No gravel pads to camp on, no picnic tables or fire pit on our spot. We were informed by one of the seasonal campers that the speed limit is 3 mph, then they sped away on his golf cart ( golf cart Average speed is 15 mph). We just had a heavy rain here and our camp site was pure mud. Well I guess I just expected more for the premium price to camp and should have just stayed in a hotel. $41.66 a night for a tent site.
