Pretty solid place to stay while on business. They offer a nice variety of foods (fruit, yogurt, hot food) for breakfast and it was refilled consistently. The front staff was always super friendly and they were so kind and understanding of my young child. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. The only downside was part of a panel on the desk was loose and making rattling sounds, so we secured it with some tissues. The trundle bed is a nice addition. The staff is nice.. but it seems like things are are not always well taken care of. Like another review, we also encountered a situation where we asked for our room to be lightly cleaned as far as taking out trash and new towels and at first we were told it was no problem . However, within a few minutes , the front desk told us was told that there was no staff for it. A lot of the ice machines were out and not working and also I hope they get the refrigerator in the café area checked. The first morning that we had breakfast there I went and grabbed yogurt for our daughter, and I realize that the yogurt lids were not properly sealed, so I threw it away, and I grabbed a new one only to discover it had the same problem. Then I noticed some of the yogurt was doming like they were fermenting. It was brought to the attention of the staff and they threw away yogurt. Then the next day, my husband grabbed a milk out of that same refrigerator and it was completely bad well before expiration date. Again, let staff know but it sounds like they definitely need a thermometer in that refrigerator and that refrigerator should be replaced. The hotel overall is really nice and the staff is really nice. I just think it's interesting that things are not well managed or well maintained. read more

This is by far one of my favorite getaway spot! It's soo peaceful here and so many things close by like the mall, movies, and restaurants! Clean lobby Clean surroundings Safe surroundings They had security do patrols. ----- 1st night went well, we did our thing during the day, we came back, the room was not refreshed. That is fine. We asked about the house keeping, it is only done upon request. Ok, didn't know, but we know for the next day. 2nd night Morning comes. Backed up toilet. (Uh oh) I went to the front desk, Tim was there. He got my request for a room "refresh" and the maintenance call. Maintenance came a little too fast right after the request (we were getting ready to leave for the day) so we asked maintenance to come back in 15 minutes. (5 hours go by) We leave, do our thing, come back, the toilet was still backed up and the room was not refreshed. My wife dealt with somebody else, didn't come back happy. As we were going out for the afternoon/night, we went by the front desk and Tim was there. I let him know that nothing happened. He was shocked because he took the requests in the morning. We left for another 5 hours. We come back for the 3rd/final night, and everything was fixed. Room was refreshed, and the toilet was working again. Tim made sure it was taken care of. Stayed one night here as the price of the hotel is much affordable then staying in downtown San Jose. The room we got was a 2 King beds and a trendle. We had 3 people in are room but could easily sleep 6. The Room was nice, a spacious bathroom with lots of light, a walk-in closet, a desk with a sliding window partician, and 2 TV's. There is also a microwave and fridge. We stayed on the 3rd floor, ice was convienit down the hall. The breakfast was traditional powered eggs, sauasage, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, juice; orange and apple. Coffee and tea. There is a $10.00 parking fee, which made no sense as there was plenty of parking in the back of the hotel. There are no foods walking distant to the hotel, however, there are fast food option and other 5-6 minutes a way. Very nice hotel would stay here again. Recommend. read more

The room has a strong, old, dusty carpet odor, the air conditioning isn't working, and there is no staff available to assist with cleaning or support. I asked the front desk to change the sheets and clean the room while I was out, but when I returned, the room had not been cleaned as promised, and no staff were available to help. I recently stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant visit overall. I stayed in a king room that was spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable for me. There was a nice little hang out area with a West Elm couch (turns into a trundle bed) and a work desk. Other room amenities included a Keurig machine, a fridge and microwave and of course bath amenities. Speaking of the bathroom it was a little long and the sink was pretty tiny (could be an issue for some). --Hotel Features-- *All-suite new-ish hotel - Opened up in December 2021. Recently stayed here while we were visiting the Santa Clara area. All other hotel rates were sky high, but this place was reasonable. Rooms are clean. Service is friendly. Pool is heated. No spa :( parking is reasonable, but is free for Marriott owners at certain levels. The lobby area is really nice. We stayed there and watched a football game comfortably. Don't park near the bushes in the parking lot because they are FULL of mosquitoes. Just by opening the door and getting out I was bitten 3 times and we had 4 bugs in our car. Very easy to get to, convenient hotel with restaurants 6 minutes away. This hotel has all you basic needs, pool, little gym,.alot of.parking and a bar. There was no bartender on shift, as i was told that they have to hire someone. So thats was a bummer. They have beer but i was looking for a nice cocktail. I do love their rooms. They have two king size beds, spacious toilet area and the shower is clean. Allready comes with shampoo, conditioner and soap punps in the shower. The desk is huge so you can work remote functionally or use it put your luggage or put food on. Best part for me was the ooms comes with TWO wall mounted tv"s. My husband can watch his show and I can eatch the other. The room can comfortably fit up to 6 adults in my opinion. The sofa pulls out into another bed too. read more

We enjoyed our stay! The room was nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge, so it was kind of funny that the sink was tiny. It's not a big deal, but I would have preferred a bigger sink because I needed to wash my baby's bottles. I made it work, so all gooD! The room has a mini fridge and microwave as well. There's free breakfast -- sausage, egg, potatoes, bread, cereal, fruit. Nice and clean eating area. The location is great! Right in the middle of all the places we visit when we come to the bay. This seems to be a new hotel for it wasn't even listed on Yelp so I added it. The room itself was nice. Had a lot of space, a living room area that was sort of separated by a desk between the bed area. The closet was huge almost as large as a room. They do serve a continental breakfast that does include eggs and sausage. Okay, I do have a couple of complaints. One is that the toilet seat was not completed cleaned when I lifted the lid. Staying at Springhill Suites San Jose Fremont. If you are staying here, beware that there is nothing in walking distance to this hotel. It is surrounded by corporate buildings... and nothing else. The rooms are beautiful, look new and are very clean. Beds are incredibly comfortable. The shower head is not so great. It only spits water and not great pressure. Nice pool, but the staff tends to forget to put out towels at regular times. There is a hotel laundry, $2 wash, $2 dry, and $1 laundry deteregent at the front desk. Last night, while checking in, the woman at the front desk was very nice, engaging, and helpful. This morning, the girl at the front desk was completely the opposite. I actually had spilled hot coffee down the front of me - that I had gotten at their free breakfast bar - because the lid was broken. I was standing at the front desk to ask her a question... and she kept smirking at me like it was funny that I had just spilled hot coffee on myself. Did not care for her demeanor. It was quite childish. She was useless as well. I am here on business, not familiar with the area, and I do not have a car. I asked her if there was anything in the area that was walking distance. I was looking for food and shopping. She said no. She did not offer suggestions and only offered an answer to specific questions. Did not greet myself or others with a smile, and just sat there staring at the TV across the room. I asked her if there was a hotel shuttle, and she said they did not have one, She was not resorceful or helpful at all. The free breakfast is quite basic considering the quality of this hotel. Scrambled eggs and poorly reheated pre-cooked sausage. They were serving them cold. Hard boiled eggs. No potatoes. Oatmeal, oranges and apples and toast bagel, English muffin. I have stayed at other hotels that were not as nice... but the breakfasts were better quality and better selection. Overall, this is a nice hotel. We stayed here for the first time two weeks ago and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was quite nice and included a microwave and refrigerator. These are things that I really love in a hotel room because I like to bring my own food and save on eating out. The front desk person was absolutely charming when we checked in. The decor was very nice and the place seemed brand new. On the downside when we came out in the morning our catalytic converter had been stolen from right in front of the place! So I have to take it down a star for that. I mean literally parked directly in front of the front door!! Seems like They may need to beef up their security. read more

This is usually my go to spot when I'm traveling for work in the Bay, visiting my branch in Fremont. Is usually very clean and quiet, and I love the double king suites. Great place to stay. Unfortunately, the AC in the workout room has been broken for sometime and the ice machine on my floor hasn't worked the past couple times as well. read more

Stayed here 8 nights in May 2022. As a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under the age of 4), I appreciate the size and layout of the rooms. We stayed in a 2 Queen room. Beds were satisfactory: okay for what they were but nothing to rave about. Bathroom was nice and clean. I was able to hook up my AppleTV via HDMI with no issues. The closet space was HUGE, basically the size of a little den. It was the perfect size to make it my kids' makeshift playroom, or what they liked to call their "laboratory" where they could have all their toys and be in their own space. Breakfast in the morning was sufficient, but just like anywhere else the earlier you go the less crowded and more stock there is. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, cereal, pastries, bread, potatoes, yogurt. I do wish they had some sort of fruit available. We did not use the pool or gym, so can't comment on that. We're in a new era of the service industry having been thru constantly changing COVID precautions for the last couple years (ie room not being serviced every day), but when asked about refreshing towels and at the very least removing the garbage from the room they did so promptly. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and won't hesitate to come back. read more

It was a nice clean hotel with big rooms and a comfy bed. We booked our room during a holiday weekend and didn't know about them overbooking the hotel. When we arrived at 9pm well later than check in I found out it was overbooked. We were fortunate enough to get a room the front desk person made sure he put aside one for us. Although it was not the two king room we made a reservation for online it worked for us and we were just happy to have a room at that point. The thing that was the worst during our stay is that the fire alarm woke us up at 7:30 am because there was a fire in the hotel. We had to evacuate the hotel and sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes until it was safe to go back to the room. Had a great stay here. Warm and friendly staff. Ease of check in and direction of property. All areas including room was clean. Our reservation was for 6 people. Two adults and our four children. We did a quick check in and left for an event. Upon our return that evening, we found extra linens and towels ready for us. Including a comforter for the sleeper sofa. The continental/ hot breakfast was well stocked and the staff were constantly replenishing the items. The front desk clerk Eldora was awesome. She even took the time to educate my husband on some of the great benefits of being a Bon Voy card holder. He had no idea and we've stayed at plenty Marriot properties and none have mentioned or offered any of the benefits. Thank you. read more
