Came to this hotel on Saturday, January 24. From the moment my granddaughter and I checked in we had such a pleasant experience. Our room was super clean and was so comfortable. I loved how spacious the layout was. I have to say that this particular hotel is placed in a nice location with easy freeway access but also presented a safe area as well. This is my first time staying at the Sonesta, Silicon Valley, Hotel, but it won't be my last.

My husband and I needed a place to stay last minute as we came to our son's college graduation a day early. This hotel was not too expensive and was incredibly well-appointed! Very clean, the space was organized well to accommodate many details that made the room extra homey and comfortable. The hotel staff were very gracious and supportive of any needs or requests we had. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful place to stay! Super clean! We had the Sonata King room which had lots of room. The shower had great water pressure and kept hot. The room came with a mini fridge. No microwave in the room but there is one located next to the ice machine. Nightstands had built in powermats for your phone. We did enjoy a really good dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Great drinks and 5 stars on the food. I highly recommend the pineapple sorbet. It comes in a pineapple shell and oh so good!!

I stay here regularly, and each time I have an exceptional experience! The entire hotel is updated, clean and a quiet place to rest. The staff is friendly and professional, and the prices are hard to beat for this area.

Very nice clean hotel with an upscale feel. Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly. Pet friendly, my Scottie approved of her new accommodations for the night. The restaurant had a full bar and was busy with guests at 8:30 last night. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delightfully filling. The waitress was pleasant and talkative. Outdoor seating was available Definitely will stay here again should I be in the area.

Despite that, I loved this Residence Inn, very great convenient location, staff are super friendly and the parking is FREE!! I originally had another place in mind near the airport but the parking fee $25. x4 days which I saved by switching our hotel over here. Coming back late at night we had no problems with finding a parking spot, we were lucky to find a spot close to our room. Lets talk about the breakfast that I read great things about, it is true from the reviews, really Wow! staying here for 4 days, I was worried we would get sick of eating the same items but I can see they have different selections, I can see the staff working so hard, when preparing the daily complimentary breakfast & happy to see there is rice, furikake and miso soup! Reminds me of another Marriott when we stayed at Hillsboro, OR. Breakfast staff are so friendly, they greet you with a smile, I can feel the joy and love, while enjoying our breakast. 5 Stars! I loved our room, it is very spacious! Enough for the 4 of us, My hubby and I, My son and his friends. We sure made use of and utilized the stove, dining table, and fridge. We were here for a film festival out in Gilroy for few days and staying here was convenient for us. Also close proximity to Silicon Valley companies, Cisco System and ScanDisk. Near Great Mall, 10 miles from SJC! Thank you wonderful staff, I look forward to staying here again! Totally recommend!

I was happy with the location of my room because it was close to the entrance. I could park nearby and it was easy to load and unload my car. However, the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was so tiny and the toilet was positioned right in front of the mirror so you had to either position yourself on one side of the toilet really close to the counter or you stood to the right of the toilet, but far from the counter. The shower door had a gap so the water leaked from the shower onto the floor. It is just a matter of time before the flooring will warp because of this water. The bed was okay. I wish they had firmer pillows The hotel is located behind an In-N-Out. I thought this would be cool cause I could just easily walk to In-N-Out for food. However, it was so crowded with people going through the drive-thru and people hanging out in the parking lot behind it. The hotel is located at McCarthy Ranch, which has numerous restaurants both sit down and fast food and shop. This usually meant that the area was pretty busy. As far as Hiltons go, this wasn't the best. I was hoping that the location would make up for it, but it actually worked against it.

The free wifi is worse than what I've experienced at other Hilton hotels, even the lower end ones. It's constantly losing connection. I tried to upgrade to Premium wifi for some important calls. After forgetting my current network connection, it failed to show me the option to upgrade. I called the front desk which directed me to tech support, which then notified me that this hotel is no longer part of their network. So there's nothing I can do at this point but deal with the bad free internet. Not only can I not use the free internet for simple Google Meet calls, but even if I try pay them more money to upgrade, I can't. I'll also add that I booked a room through the app earlier and when I arrived, they had assigned me a different room. I booked that room specifically because it was a quieter location for my anxious dog but instead, we are now right next to the elevator and stairs.

There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. At first glance, the property looks fairly new, but once inside it feels a bit dated or slightly rundown -- maybe due to the lighting and overall décor. The restaurant/bar is right next to the lobby, and the space tends to be occupied by bar customers, which can make the lobby feel less like a hotel common area. The room itself is average, exactly what you'd expect from a standard Holiday Inn. Nothing bad, nothing standout. One thing to note: there's no complimentary breakfast, unlike many other Holiday Inn locations, so factor that into your budget. For a 1-2 night stay on a budget, it does the job. The location is convenient, and I especially liked having a drive‑thru Starbucks nearby -- perfect for early risers.

Over all service and check in 4/5. Hotel / amenities :2/5 The place is decorated for Christmas, the tree is beautiful , and the star of the building is the chandlers when you walk into the hotel. They have a pool and a hot tub located outside but the ensemble of the back is beautiful , and well decorated . THE ROOM itself has a lot of buff needs as well as a shower drain that's so slow that my 20 min shower was cut short to about 8 min due to the water backing up and the shower itself is less than 2 inches of Leeway before you have no choice but to cut it off I was willing to deal with that however .... - & as of our second day we just found out that the latch wouldn't lock but we still had the flap - and you would still need a key to enter . HOWEVER . My husband was leaning on the door to get something out of his pocket and the door just opened automatically. So you don't even need your key for my room . This whole time if it was not latched and because the deadbolt didn't work ... you could just push the door open ..I had to have them change the rooms , just to find out ... the rooms with tubs are NOT all located on the first floor like the clerk said , and we were moved from 308- 315 Over all rating of 2/5 Brighter side ? They also have an up to date gym located inside overlooking the pool area so it gives got good vibes when you are running or working out . And preferred parking in the front of the building. But you also still have to pay to park . ... Price / location : 1/5 Between the three times I have been here , and the couple more my husband has for work pricing can vary depending on the person . A group of 5 was in the lobby trying to add breakfast to there room package and the front desk quoted him 21.00 per person ... However the father of the group showed her the 15.00/ per person rule on his phone and she all the sudden said "ok would you please tell me the amount of people eating at 15.00 / per person . " That shows me if people don't KNOW THE RULES THE RULES CHANGE . Pricing is always different every time we come . We got charged 15.00 - a day for parking however we are diamond delete members with reserved parking . Not to mention 20.00 a day for last time we stayed here . And the SECURITY GAURD is wild . He kept asking me questions ... staring at me and walked past me hella slow in the lobby.... recording me while I'm sitting here waiting for my Pizza Hut . And walks outside. He already asked me twice if I had a room and I said yes. I don't know what his deal is but I don't like feeling like I don't belong somewhere just because I'm in "relaxation attire "
