    Veggie omelette

Came here for brunch this mornin. Great location and menu options. On weekends they have buy one mimosa get one free, plus they have a great view of the hot springs as you're enjoying your food. Service was fast and very attentive. They had 3 types of mimosas: pineapple, orange, and cranberry juice. I ordered the pineapple one.as far as food goes, I ordered a veggie omelette, which comes with a portion of breakfast potatoes. The cost to quantity ratio is excellent, and the food was delicious!

Slow, but great quality and service. A wonderful atmosphere with a great beer selection and a fun selection of tasty food. On top of a great brew pub a clean extremely relaxing hot springs! The water is a variety of relaxing temperatures from HOT to COLD , and in between. Jessica is a wonderful server. She took care of us. Two ideas??? A bowl of the handmade potato chips when patrons arrive and a classic tabletop Pac-Man machine to keep kids busy (or at least some art supplies).

The water has been dirty quite often and kids are not supervised as their parents get drunk.

Good fish tacos and burgers! Fresh ingredients and good service. The view is so different from the usual restaurant. I Recommend it!

We were right across from the downstairs door (honestly not realizing there are two separate places inside) and on entering decided we didn't even need to look upstairs. We also don't care about sports, ever, so that always steers us to pick a quiet corner instead of big-screen central. The atmosphere is spacious, flowing, inviting, with a choice between brighter and darker seating spaces. It was not very busy, so not loud, but I can imagine it could get rowdy if it was full! The menu looked great, wanted to try so many things- but since we were just snacking and getting back on the road we decided on the meat and cheese board... one of the best we have ever had. And we've had more than a few, in many places, for many prices. This one (on their menu in late July), was $16- an excellent price point for the variety, quality, and quantity! I wrote it down, to make sure they know how awesome we think it was: smoked duck, wild boar sausage, spicy beef salami (that one being our least fave), with 4 mini blocks of cheddar- smoked, aged, onion, sage. Also a personal fresh mini baguette and some cute little toasted spicy pepitas were served alongside. Good lord. So yummy. If you want burgers and fries, go upstairs- you will be missing out. I would like to add that the whole staff seemed to enjoy their jobs, were very welcoming and smiling and cordial. Heather was our wonderful bartender/server, who made us feel right at home (even though Minneapolis is quite far away!). THANK YOU to everyone for being awesome, for giving us a perfect small stop at the end of our vacation, we will be back to visit if ever we are close again!

I wish I was more hungry when I walked in cause I really wanted to try their "Holy Cow" style meals but could only go with the standard serving size. I ended up going with the chicken sandwich. The chicken was fried perfectly on the outside and the inside was tender and had good flavor. The fries here were very good and I would've kept ordering more of those if I had any more room. The food here is really great. It feels like the best diner food imaginable in a setting that offers so much more. The restaurant reminded me of a bigger chain but with the hometown feel. Big but cozy and personable. Our server was great and always made sure our drinks were full the whole meal. I'll be sure to come back here the next time we visit Helena.

I ended up getting the three egg breakfast, with linked sausage, hash browns and a couple lemon ricotta pancakes. My friend got two eggs, the huckleberry French toast and pork linked sausage. First, let's start with the positive notes. The place was clean, there dining room was big with plenty of open tables, our server was super nice and we were seated right away, the food was good for the most part. My over medium eggs were perfectly done, my lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious but the entire experience was ruined when the server brought out the bottle of TABLE SYRUP instead of maple syrup! I realize this is a small business but I haven't eaten Mrs Butterworth syrup since I was like a child. Anyway, the pancakes were fluffy, delicious and perfectly done, the sausage however had a soft mildly off-putting texture and the hash browns seemed old and had no flavor. I would come here again but not for the hash browns or table syrup.

Once I saw it on the menu I had to get the GIGANTIC PRETZEL (GP). It was gigantic and it was a pretzel. Great crispy outside and soft warm perfectly cooked inside. Get it, you won't regret it. We all loved it and the queso and hot mustard were a great match. I had the wings, buffalo sauce, and it came with fries. Both were really good. So much food I only ate 4 wings and 1/2 the fries. GP still weighing heavy in my gullet! The Wife had the Classic Mac and Cheese - nice taste but Luke warm instead of hot. Should have sent back to warm up. Her choice. The Kid had the brisket sandwich and garlic parm fries. The sandwich was so big., she ate 1/2 and hardly touched her fries. The fries were delish, as I had to sample a couple for review purposes. The Friend had a Buffalo chicken salad and The Other Friend had enchiladas. Both enjoyed their meals and had leftovers as the servings are generous. Great Time. Great Food. Great Service. Go! The restaurant hours show closing at 10:00pm. I go in to get a pasta at 9:30pm and their kitchen is already closed. I get that cooks want to go home. But operating hours are operating hours. If you are open until 10:00pm, provide your full service until 10:00pm. If it was 9:50, I could understand shutting the kitchen down, Ive been a cook in a restaurant. But just because you want to get out of there early it shouldnt mean you stop providing service a half an hour before closing. I live right by this place and come here every other week. But one of the most annoying things is when a restaurant stops service long before their hours say they close. Wont be coming here nearly as often since they cant honor their hours.

The staff couldn't clearly answer basic questions about the menu, and when I asked about the seasonal vegetable, I was told it was "something frozen." That turned out to be true--the broccoli was cold and tasted like it had come straight from a freezer. The steak was tough and flavorless, the baked potato was barely warm, and the salad looked like a cheap bagged mix. The open-face prime rib dip at our table was just as bad, with overcooked, dry meat served on couple pieces of Texas toast. The restaurant itself appeared neglected. The bathrooms were dirty, the restroom doors were grossly sticky and there was a makeshift cardboard repair w/ duct-taped to an air conditioning unit above one of the dining tables. Poor food, poor service, and poor cleanliness made this a visit I won't repeat. Absolutely disgusting!
