Really good food (little on the salty side) . Super friendly! We came in 42 minutes before they closed and they still sat us and didn't make us feel rushed! We had no idea until I was about to write this review and the waitress came over and asked if we needed anything. She assured us that we had plenty of time!

While unexpectedly needing to stay in Helena for a couple nights, we searched for a pub to have a late lunch. This place turned out to be a great choice. Two levels of dining with a great selection of beers, pub fare and attentive service. The onion rings were served hot with perfectly crispy breading, the clam chowder was creamy with nice sized pieces of clam and veggies, the bacon on the BLT was crispy and flavorful, and the side Greek salad was very fresh with the perfect balance of classic elements. This place is clearly a local favorite, and for good reason.

Clam chowder should taste like clams. it is the worst clam chowder I've ever had.

Clam chowder is terrible!! All I taste is carrots! Who puts carrots in clam chowder? A terrible chef does that's who! Wow!!

Summary: A popular and busy place even midweek, Brewhouse serves up bar food and drinks at slightly upscale prices. With two floors this spot is much larger than it appears from the outside. But it was as busy as it looked from the outside: At supper time on Tuesday the small parking lot was packed, and the overflow lot across the street was nearly full. Still, our initial wait was short and dining at high top bar tables provided plenty of people watching activity. Despite the packed house the absence of background music and TVs allowed conversation without yelling. The crowd did make an excessive wait for our food--over 30 minutes from ordering. Grilled salmon was woefully overcooked but mixed steamed vegetables were fairly undercooked. Service offered occasional check-ins for drink refills, as well as food updates and apologies for the meal delay.

I went with the family and the onion soup was delicious. However, the burger and pasta were not good, I didn't like the taste and it was cold. We didn't find it impressive at all. The service was very good, the place was very nice. but the food wasn't great.

Came in for lunch with the family and started with the pretzel bites with mustard and beer cheese. Really tasty. Good service, plenty of room and a really good beer menu though we did not partake this day. Plenty of locals seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere. What is the difference between upstairs and downstairs with the slightly different menus? Trying to figure it out. Upstairs was certainly more crowded but downstairs was nice and cool on a hot Day. Overall a great spot with a menu with something for everyone, fantastic service, decent pricing, and an excellent beer list.

Our waitress was very kind, provided great service & great recommendations! We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. We will be back, it may be over an hour drive for us but a drive well worth it.

The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. Definitely order this one fresh at the table.

This isn't one of those stuffy, velvet-rope wine bars; it's genuinely "New York chic meets Montana," which is the only atmosphere I ever want to be in. The main reason this place is magic? The staff. We had a server who was less of a server and more of a wine wizard. I told them I liked things that were "a little sassy, maybe a bit moody," and they didn't even blink. Instead, they completely crafted the perfect flight of wine flights for us to sample. It was like a personalized, four-course journey for my tastebuds. Every single pour was a winner, and the knowledge they dropped on us was actually interesting and not at all intimidating. I learned more in 30 minutes than I did in a decade of frantically googling "what is terroir?" If you're looking for an amazing wine bar where you can relax, learn something new, and taste truly incredible stuff without feeling like you need a wine degree, this is it. Go for the ambiance, stay for the wine, and definitely let their knowledgeable service steer the ship. They won't steer you wrong. Highly Recommend: Just tell your server to surprise you. It's the best way to do it.
