Sprouts has a good selection of healthier items than a traditional grocery store. This is my first time at this location. Many areas of the vitamin department were well faced and stocked. Nice display. But, I didn't see any vitamin staff the whole time we were in the store. It could have been their break or maybe working in their back room. We were able to find what we needed. Nice display of flowers. The produce department looked clean. Certain areas were not full. The bulk department had nice displays. It took me awhile to find the refrigerated coconut water. read more

I have dropped into Sprouts from time to time as it is about 20-minutes from my house. Sometines they have niche items that I cannot get in my little town geocery store. However, they are way overpriced for staples. A dozen eggs from Vital at more than $10 is absurd. I dig Vital's eggs & butter, high quality & 3d party tested, but not at that price. My big complaint was the young lady working the register today, I'd drop a name but she didn't have a name tag on. She greeted the lady in front of me and was polite to her. When I got up, I received no greeting, no smile, nothing. There was an older couple behind me, she was friendly and engaged them as I was paying, offering suggestions to their issue. After I paid, she handed me my receipt, didn't thank me for spending my money there, didn't wish me a nice day. I gave her plenty of opportunities. I took my receipt, smiled at her and told her to have a wonderful day. Didn't cost me anything extra and it is a simple thing to do. I love shopping at Sprouts for organic and healthy items on my grocery list. They have the best Sushi on Wednesdays for $5 that's a steal! Lunch combos in their deli is great for lunch at work or just a take home ready lunch after doing your grocery shopping. Ready made meals and dinners are the epitome of savings and time. Recently came here to grab some energy drinks and a decent meal since I was in the area and Kansas City doesn't really have many healthy options. Prices here are very fair, they had a great section where you could buy a sandwich and customize it however you like. Staff here is pretty friendly as well, great selection of nine alcoholic drinks and other grocery store assortments for your house. Store is clean and well organized. All in all, I enjoyed the atmosphere since it was quiet and peaceful, there are very little lines here to wait in. Ample amount of parking as well and easy access to the streets. read more

Love Sprouts!!! This was our store in Las Vegas where we lived for 12 years until Easter of this year. Coming to Sprouts felt like a homecoming. The produce here is amazing! Their house brand is always good. Their meat and deli are fantastic!! I never bought meat anywhere else besides my butcher shop in Vegas. It's a little far from our house, so we only come here occasionally. But we love it. The gal working in produce even offered to trim the horseradish root I was buying if it was more than I wanted. So kind and thoughtful. I couldn't even find that item at any other store and I checked all the big ones. Sprouts is where you wanna go for produce and bulk items. I love this place!! I used to go to sprouts in Las Vegas Nevada all the time and had no idea there's a sprouts down here. Okay here's why I like sprouts. Here's my experience since I lived here in Missouri for 9 months now. I've been shopping at different places and I always have to stop by multiple places to get the healthy foods I want. There is some downside to this. Many of the items I find are pretty pricey. And I get it, it goes to the direct source that raise the prices on them or whatever reasons. What I like about this place I found all the fruits and vegetables and other items that other places didn't have. It's your direct source of health products instead of scattering to multiple places and waste your gas. The checkout process seems pretty fast to me. read more

For the most part, this is a typical Sprouts. They have a good selection. The store is clean. The staff were friendly and the checkout was quick. There is good parking, too. I did find it humorous reading other reviews suggesting the prices were high. No, they are not high when you compare them to other stores. Sprouts is generally quite reasonable with prices for a specialty health store. Yes, health products are more expensive. This is unfortunate and a larger systemic issue that we should try to address in our country. However, to blame a store like this for high prices is a bit uninformed. read more

I have been to this location several times. Today the employees I'm speaking mainly of the older ones two woman specifically. One who was quite short and couldn't have been more unprofessional. She almost collided with my cart that had my child in it trying to hurry to the back and I of course said the polite things sorry excuse us and she said nothing but a nasty ugly face and kept speed walking. I'm aware it's busy and you are at work but a little professionalism goes a long way especially when you almost mow down a customer. Then I'm not sure what's wrong with the majority of the staff in the deli I try to be really understanding but 15 minutes of making a sandwich and a wrap is mess. This is the second time it's been this long last time I only ordered a wrap. There's was only one pleasant to see in the deli. Now I'm standing here waiting still just for a freaking sticker to say how much my wrap is. Does this seem acceptable? I guess today was the day. Customer service is not a priority... I purchased a pair of reading glasses, when I got home I notice I had purchased 2.5 magnification. I returned the next day to with original packaging and receipt to exchange for 2.0. Cashier informed me she needed manager approval as glasses fall under books and magazines and are not eligible for exchange or refund. The manager came over to speak with me she also stated they could not exchange "Glasses" Which fall under the book and magazine policy?. I asked her where this policy was stated and how glasses fall under books and magazines she told me the Notification at the cash register which there is but it does not state glasses are considered books.?!?? I love Sprouts. I've been to a few throughout job travel and was pleased when I heard they were opening. Today I took my mom to Sprouts. It's special, like Trader Joe's but closer. I had no problem getting a parking spot, even though the lot is smallish. It's naturally bright inside, and compacted. But it has a great vibe and feel to the store. You enter and are walking into the baked goods area. Then there's cheese, check out the cheese area. And a deli, where they make sandwiches and you can order meat by the slice. You pass a large seafood area, and they make their own sushi, which yuck, I passed on. No thanks. The produce is bright, and inexpensive. Alot of the produce is organic. You can find produce you don't normally see, at the same price of Hy-Vee. The thing is, it's not at Hy-vee. I visited Sprouts for miso and powdered polenta. Boom, Sprouts had it, and both were a great price. I love that they sell freshly juiced mixes that they make daily. I bought a bottle and it was refreshing. They have mixing and baking items, and frozen food as well. Then plenty of supplements that I didn't glance at. I found most of their employees knowledgeable, except a couple who kind of didn't care that I was there. We bought a few needed items, and will be back. I drove out of my way by 15 miles just to get some of the great fruit they advertise. For $34.++ I brought home what turned out to be 1. Two pints of Texas Organic Strawberrys that had fuzz and rotten fruit throughout--- It went to my chickens (not the fuzzy stuff) 2. One cantelope that upon cutting open was one big sniff of ether and tasted terrible. We are going to try and eat this...maybe. 3. One baby watermelon that was sugarless, waterless and more like a tasteless orange...it also went to the chickens. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FRUIT FROM THIS STORE AGAIN. What was once my goto store is off the list and on another type of list. Too costly (gas and time) to return and deal with customer service. I do not recommend this store to anyone. read more

I've bought deli meat from this location 3 times ( they are the only place that sells boars head that i know of. I'm from a Georgia and that's the best deli down there in my opinion and all i used to buy) and everytime it has been disgusting. Covered with a clear jelly substance. I really like Sprouts. They have a huge selection of vegan foods. This is also one of few stores that had vegan bakery items. They also have organic, grass-fed meats, organic produce and bulk items. I shop here every so often on my way to work to grab some Kombucha tea or a vanilla spice Rebel protein drink. He then told me that I could buy an entire loaf of gluten free bread and then bring him 2 slices. Do you know that even Wendy's the fast food place offers GF bread? I hate to leave sprouts a bad review but it's only for the Lee Summit location. I'm currently inside sprouts and I feel isolated. There's a worker here wearing a degrading pin on her sprouts shirt about Republicans & The NRA are terrorist. Also, there's a older customer with a "not my President" shirt on with a disrespectful image of President Trump in place of the letter 'O'. I completely understand that sprouts caters to the Vegan community and Vegans are overwhelming liberals. I'm fine with that as I can coexist with anyone. I don't wear my political beliefs around my next, I don't let politics interfere with where I shop or what I do, I believe in unity & compassion. However, this location is taking everything to the next level of political divisiveness by allowing employees to openly discriminate against her fellow peers solely based of a difference of opinion. She's such a beautiful, probably nice, young lady who's tainting her employers imagine in a very bad way. I came here for vegetables but instead I'm leaving feeling concerned about where our great nation is going. Free speech is free speech but degrading people for a different opinion is fascist and borderline hate speech. As a small business owner I would never, ever, allow one of my 4 employees to mix politics with business! I would never allow for my business to make people feel unwanted. I feel as if my business isn't wanted here and my very presence would make people uncomfortable if they knew who I voted for. I will never understand the need for people to allow politics to control their lives and wear such nasty clothing knowing that an election was held and we should respect our fellow Americans who voted. We should accept the reality that we live in a constitutional republic and just because we may not agree on something so divisive as policy, there's many areas where we do agree. Woohoo! is right. I'm so glad that this hole in Missouri got a Sprouts rather than that snooty Trader Joes. Yes, they are a lot cheaper, including their fresh meat. Organic or not, their prices are great. Anything else? Well you must be a smart shopper and look at their sale ads. I have been a Sprouts fan since they came to Lee's Summit., but I have to say that I was disappointed with this store's covid 19 precautions. At 7:30 a.m., the hand sanitizer dispenser was empty, the lady putting out organic produce did not have a face mask or gloves on, and the cashiers had masks but were wearing them below the nose. The 2 check out lines were appropriately distanced, but the lines were so long, people were lined up by the end of aisles. Will probably wait a few months before going back. read more

Just finished my lunch- items purchased at sprouts- and I feel like this grocery store has become a partner in my health. When it first opened I was very excited but then slightly disappointed at the amount of conventional vs organically grown produce - then I got off my soapbox because no other store in Lee's Summit does organic better. Once i got the lay of the produce, I know where to go for organic items- every store has a learning curve. I love the amount of organic convenience foods such as the line of Reds burritos, etc. I really view my twice weekly trips to sprouts as part of my health routine - same as going to the gym or PT. My suggestions would be to separate the organic and non organic produce slightly more, and a couple times there has been a bit of a bad smell in the store- That being said, I stress that the store always looks very clean and shelves are orderly and well stocked. read more

SPROUTS in Lee's Summit is absolutely the best place to get your groceries. They have the absolutely BEST produce, and Skylar and Adam in produce are super helpful and very nice.
