I love this neighborhood spouts but even more so today. After the storm last tuesday, my family has been without power & living in Texas, we know that's not easy to live without. I came to sprouts to get some essentials & i needed some bags of ice to put in the cooler at home. I asked one of the cashiers and he directed me to 5 little bags of ice and said it's free if I need them! I gladly told him yes & explained to him the situation at home, and immediately the head cashier and him (without a second thought) went to the back to make me more baggies filled with ice. Way more than I asked for and exactly what I needed. It was so caring & truthfully almost made me cry. Thank you both for brightening my day during a tough time without power. I recently visited the Sprouts Farmer's Market in Richardson, TX while I was visiting in town for the 4th of July weekend. I really loved the layout of the store. Even though it was my first time coming in, I was able to locate what I needed with ease. The produce was so plentiful and fresh! I truly wish I had this back home. I especially appreciated the quick and courteous service that I received in the meat department as well. Isaac was very helpful and gave me great customer service. I got everything that I needed to replenish my fridge for another couple of days while I'm in town. A heartfelt thanks to the staff! Everyone I encountered was very friendly! This used to be my go-to spot for grocery shopping, but the quality has noticeably declined. The produce section is often picked over, and there's been a significant reduction in meat selection lately. I've also noticed that many of the dairy items--especially whole milk--are close to their expiration dates, sometimes just a day or two out. The overall shopping experience used to be much better. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management or if they're struggling with product turnover, but the freshness and variety have really diminished. I've tried coming at different times and on different days, but the issues seem consistent. It's disappointing because I used to really enjoy shopping here, but lately, it just hasn't been the same. read more

Sprouts is near where I live and they carry certain things that I like to pick up from time to time. I could never do my weekly grocery shopping here but I really like their vast array of fresh produce. This visit I noticed a sign out front and inside that they are charging $ .10 for the plastic bags that were previously free. This is their effort to encourage customers to either bring reusable bags in with them or to buy these for a nominal fee and use them multiple times. I applaud this! read more

I go to the Sprouts on Campbell Rd in North Dallas at least 3 times a week. I absolutely love their produce and meat market. It is not a large store but they carry all my favorite healthy selections. I appreciate how quickly I can get through the store and check out. Everyone is super nice, friendly and helpful. Tonya the service manager always sees me and makes sure I'm being helped. Sprouts have been sprouting up all over and I have been shopping them since they have, just for some reason it seams I have never reviewed them. The first thing one will notice about this store is the welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. THAT is probably one of the biggest differences between Sprouts and other grocery stores. Another difference is the size of the store. These places were not designed to be mega marts or super stores. They are designed to give the feel of a small town or community grocery store and they certainly succeed at that. Sure, they lack the selection you find in many other stores, and their prices comparatively are a bit higher than many other groceries, but they deliver on the hometown feel. read more

Love this spot. Sometimes the prices can be in that awkward zone between Kroger and Trader Joe's, but a lot of times they have a good deal! To me, this is an approachable Whole Foods; like if Whole Foods lived its life as a Trader Joe's and was dangerously close to a Home Goods, another obsession of mine. When it comes right down to it, I've always had great service here, and from what I can tell based on a few situations management is on top of things. read more

I like Sprouts at times. The quality of fruits and vegetables ebbs and flows though. You need to hit them at the right time it seems to find the fresh and quality you need. They are a lot cheaper than the supermarket across the street. I do like the selection they offer as well. read more

Got a terrific piece of fresh salmon from a helpful butcher at Sprouts yesterday and was really excited about the red grapes and the watermelon, too...until we ate a few not-so-great grapes. The watermelon was white inside, not red or even very pink, and it was horrible and tasteless. I've given up pineapples from Sprouts due to too many duds, but one of things we really love is fresh fruits... Sure hope this doesn't happen again. We still enjoy the fresh nuts, chocolate covered cashews, granola...all in bulk and shop there often. The vitamin area always has some helpful, informed people working the area; and the checkers are always nice though often short handed. And no one seems to want to wait on you in the meat area. I decided to surprise my wife she loves the crunchy shrimp tempura roll. So I dropped in at Sprouts to get her some. The parking lot was packed at 2:00 in the afternoon so it took me about 15 minutes to get a spot. This is a small Sprouts so not familiar with the store layout. Normally my other store has a lot of sushi out and made. I wanted 4, but ended up with one spicy grab because they didn't have any more. I also ended up with probiotics to make coconut milk yogurt and a cranberry and pistachio muffin. I will definitely be back for the $5 sushi. read more

Can I get a Hallelujah for this place! I thank the gods of healthy eating for its existence. If you go in the morning, you can literally see fresh produce being unboxed. Prices are reasonable. Huge selection of granolas and trail mix that you can serve yourself. Great finds in the probiotics department. Do not get me started on the multiple upon multiple vitamins and supplements. Friendly service. Nice, small chickens in the deli rotisserie, not the gargantuan GMO chickens from Walmart's. This place is one of my favourite places to go each week. O' Sprouts, how I love thee with your cheap greenery and bulk food. As a health food nut and cheap college kid, Sprouts is perfect. The produce is always cheap and very fresh. I even try things I would never have eaten just because they're so friggin cheap. Hello spaghetti squash with marinara. There is no excuse to not eat vegetarian with places like Sprouts around. The bulk foods are great. I can spend 75 cents and have steel cut oatmeal for a week. Brown sugar for 40 cents and then a handful of yogurt covered pretzels for 50 cents. It's nirvana for the cheap veggie loving crowd. Wine is always cheap and they have a few things that Whole Foods carry but it's definitely way less expensive. All in all, two very enthusiastic thumbs up! read more

Sprouts - the smaller more affordable version on Whole Foods. Their produce on average is better than the area grocery stores...usually whatever is in season is incredibly fresh and local, not to mention on sale. It seems like everytime they have a huge shipment of strawberries, they put them on 2 for $3-$4 sale and they are better than anyone else's that week. Try to shop on Wednesdays...they have "double ad days" then. The sales from the previous week overlap with the sales for the coming week and you get twice as many sale items to choose from. Very cheap wine...3 for $10 or 2 for $10 usually and it tastes just fine. Their take-away meals are soooo much better than Whole Foods and cheaper. Almost everything is under $5. read more

Sprouts is my damn jam! I just left with 5 leeks, 3 gorgeous oranges, 2 heads of garlic, and 2 perfect avocados for $2.13! All the produce is gorgeous and wasn't even picked over on the day before Thanksgiving. The employees here are really friendly and most are knowledgeable in the departments they work. They were quick to say hello and ask whether they could help with anything. Customer service isn't dead in this place and the team members seem to be genuinely enjoying their work. The meats I have bought on previous trips are always fresh and very reasonably priced. The bulk section has a great variety and saves lots of cash, too. I worked at Whole Foods Market for over three years while I was in school and I love Sprouts as much as my old store (it's far less expensive, too)! read more

I always want to like Sprouts, but I just can't do it. I find myself wondering if the food I'm picking up is fresh most of the time. I just checked out and noticed that several of the grapes in my bag were covered in mold. I was going to pick up flowers too, but most of them looked like they had been there for a week. Time to toss them, not put them in a vase. The $3 chicken is also seriously scary. Last time we had chicken from Sprouts, we agreed we shouldn't do that again either. I will be back for Pamela's flour, but that's about it. The savings aren't noticeable enough to keep me away from Whole Foods. read more
