I had to loudly announce myself to ask for help for their cakes. One of my go to for picking up a quick lunch. This particular location have the best Mac and Cheese from their hot bar. Top it with some protein and a little veg then you have a real quick balanced lunch. I also love that they have if not all, a wide variety of flavors of Olipop. Depends on what I have for the day, I would either sit at the second floor eating area or at their bar if I want beer with my meal. It is such a one stop shop! I usually do my Amazon returns at a nearby UPS store, but this time I mistakenly didn't change the return location away from Whole Foods, so here I am! The employee was very polite and took each item out and scanned the code on my phone and then applied a sticker to each item. It was very easy and fast and we were on our way. The lettuce was not fresh. Looked expired. I asked the man stocking the vegetables and he just looked at me and pulled out one bag of lettuce and handed it to me. I thanked him and he just looked away. Didn't ask if I needed more than one. I needed shallots. They had no shallots anywhere. I needed. Chicken tenderloins. No chicken tenderloins. I needed thick cut bacon. Only one package of smoked which I didn't want. I asked the girl at the register if they had shallots and she said yes. I said I looked for them and couldn't find them. Smaller than some of the locations I've been to so the selection wasn't as great as the larger stores but still pretty good. The salad bar was probably excellent before the lunch rush but it looked empty when I got there and didn't look like anyone was about to replenish it. At the end of the day, it's a Whole Foods and a gift for someone who is picky and needs vegan options that are healthy. It's my go to when I need to stock my hotel room on travel weeks. read more

soooooo...i don't really shop at whole foods, but i love the bar :P i'm not even joking, it's lowkey my favorite bar. Jess the bartender is fantastic and i love her!! no cocktails or hard liquor - beer and wine only, but it's great for a chill time without getting trashed. they have rotating beers, ciders, and sometimes even kombucha on tap as well as some wine. however, you can also buy any of the alcohol and food sold in store and eat and drink it at the bar. they do have a menu of selected wine by the glass - but pro tip, you can buy it by the bottle and 1. it's cheaper (grocery sale price), 2. they'll keep the bottle in the fridge until you need a refill and 3. if you don't finish, they'll seal it for you and you can take it home! they also have specials and events that go on during the week. thursdays are tap takeovers where a local brewery comes in and has multiple beers on tap and they'll usually bring free merch and will stay so that you can chat and have a beer with them. on the first and third wednesdays of the month they have a 5k social run that starts at the bar and goes through the nearby trails and ends back at the bar for social hour. there's also free wifi and a 2nd floor cafe eating area. sometimes to get out of the house, i like to work from there and you can see the entire supermarket, and parking lot from up there. let me tell you...the people watching is great. lol so stop by the bar if you haven't before, you won't regret it. you might see me there hah! read more

This review is on the salad/food bar. I got a new job a couple months ago close to this location and wanted to find a nice salad/food bar. I decided to try out the one at Whole Foods. I really like the food bar. They have a great selection on salad, cold cut meat, vegetables, chicken, and beef. It also has soup and cornbread. The selection is great and quality of the food is good. It does get busy around lunch time and if you get there after 12:30 a lot of the food is gone. I usually get a big salad and it's never cost more than $10. If you are in the area and looking for a good food bar for a reasonable price this is a good option. read more

I'm highlighting a feature likely less known in some Whole Food stores. That is a bar, yes, you heard me correctly. The Richardson, TX store has a 16 tap bar with a variety of beers that cycle through with different options throughout the year. In addition, they have wine by the glass. The best part is if they don't have something that wets your whistle, you can pick out a beverage from the store shelves, bring it to the bartender, and they will open and serve it to you. The bartenders are all personable and do a great job of hearing what you like and suggesting options from what they have available. The area has seating to enjoy their in store ready to go food options. They host different events - trivia nights, live music, and tap takeovers. In the nicer months there are even groups who gather there run a few miles and come back to wind down and socialize. This hidden gem has been the highlight of moving to the area and having a place easy to get to and hang out...oh and the ability to grab any needed groceries on your way out isn't a bad thing either! read more

Small store, but I was delighted to find that they had a large selection of grab and go eat items such as salad bar, soups, pizza, sandwiches...and the winner for me - sushi! This store has a large case of sushi prepped on site and ready to take. Wasabi and soy packets are included with each package. This was the kind of selection I used to find at Hickam's AFB store with its own sushi station in Hawaii or the sushi station at Haggen's in Washington state. They all had a sushi chef on site preparing a wide selection of rolls. If you didn't see what you wanted, they would happily provide what you wanted. The price was steep, but that was to be expected from "Whole Paycheck" and a city and state far away from good sources of sushi quality seafood. I'll be back despite the price, because its still cheaper than a flight to the west coast. read more

Oh my gosh do not order cakes here! I ordered cakes in person to make sure we were clear on everything- one 8 inch and 5 inch. I specifically asked how tall the 5 inch would be and they brought the back baker out who said 4 layers and I specifically asked to have them iced in the style of the chantilly cakes. I got neither. Literally 2 hours before my daughters baptism, so I was completely screwed. It's appalling, I can't believe how something so simple can be so hard for people. I am not surprised that the city line Whole Foods only has three stars. After driving for 700+ miles to welcome a new grandchild, we stopped in to pick up a salad at the salad bar. Zero lettuce. Seriously. I asked the people behind the counter making sandwiches and such and she said her manager is on break and she told her not to put any lettuce out and I'd have to wait until she gets off break. It's a grocery store at 5 pm. I went to the customer service area and they told me they probably don't have any lettuce right now? really sub par city line Whole Foods. We're now heading to SPROUTS as I write this. Just need a salad after all that road food. read more

I really enjoyed going to Whole Foods Market and their City Line location in Richardson is a great location. I have always been pretty lucky with parking at this location which is a little surprising because they are in a shopping center that is very busy because of several very popular businesses. One of the things I really enjoy at this location are the employees. For whatever reason this is one of the most helpful and friendly locations that I have visited in the entire chain. I am always greeted when I arrive and the cashiers always thank me for my business and smile as I leave the location.That seems so basic but in a world where service in many grocery stores has gone out the window it is refreshing to receive great service. read more

This place has not cleaned their bulk department even after removing most of the scooping bins due to COVID. There are roaches nesting underneath where the bins are usually placed because they don't clean their bulk department. Their dairy department always has expired yogurts, milk and cottage cheese. I'm not talking about a few days or week being expired; it's July and I have found cottage cheese dates for March. I don't know who is working their dairy truck in the morning but they are not rotating correctly. Management in the front end are the only managers that can be seen. All other leadership seems to be in the back offices "working", leadership? More like admins. Has WFM regional given up on CityLine to the point where everything is out of stock and no budget to carry new things? Who in this world wants to eat Chippeas or Simply 7 quinoa chips for $5? read more

Really kind staff, really convenient for the neighborhood. I live within walking distance, and the staff always takes the time to get my groceries packed perfectly into two bags so they're easy to carry. Also love the little selection of herbs they have outside the entrance. Picked up some mint plants so we can make some summer drinks when the weather warms up. read more

I attended the open house a few days before it opens so it wasn't completely finished but it looks Fabulous! Lots of updates! A cool mezzanine area for lunch or you can work and listen to the band. There is ample room to eat downstairs as well. Since it is a smaller footprint, I am sure it may be missing some of your favorite things but the salad bar included a lot of the items you don't always find at the smaller stores. The Taco Bar is next on my list of things to try. If your thirsty, they have a great wine section and 16 beers on tap. Great location and super friendly staff!! read more

Nice place to find organic stuff. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The store is clean. Doesn't have a vast collection of meats and desserts. There's a lot of scope for the Bakery to get better. The Chantilly cake was overpowered with the essence which made it less delectable. read more

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Whole Foods, but this one is different. From the outside it looks like the biggest one around, but when you step inside you'll soon discover it's a small market with the majority of the place used for more of a restaurant feel. I get it. This Whole Foods is trying to capitalize on the nearby condos, apartments, and businesses so quick and easy is the key. There is a bar, like a sports bar, inside. The hot and ready/salad bar area appeared to offer more than other WF do and took up a lot more space in the store. The cheese, meat and seafood portion also looked like they had more to offer. Unfortunately the rest of the store was left with limited space and offerings. The dry food you pay for by the lb was 1/4 of what other WF have to offer, as was the produce section. I was hoping to get my grocery shopping done when I stopped in, but had to go to another WF to get the majority of the items this one didn't provide. More of a great local market, or quick bite place than a grocery store. read more

Pretty sure they stay open well later than 7, maybe they just don't want to go through the effort. I give the 2 stars instead of 1 for employees being somewhat honest. When I told an employee that their hot bar was closing in on 1/3 empty with no one in sight to refill they seemed to want to help, but told me they were 'short on food' and it would take 30 mins. Seems like 'short on attention' is the more accurate assessment, but whatever. I can feed my family elsewhere. read more
