Not my Department! Looking for an item, going round in circles I finally asked a member of staff. Angrily they told me my item wasn't 'in their department' and to 'find somebody else'. Oh really, in a tiny little store you can't help a customer. Ok, so i asked another staff member, once again it's 'not their department' so I asked for a manager. 'Find somebody in a blue shirt' is how I was informed that I could speak to a manager. He was a mildly impatient at my lack of store product knowledge, but he pointed me towards my item. There was about 10 customers in the whole store. A small store! How the heck is a customer supposed to know which department y'all work in? Why can't you answer a request from a customer? This place is as expensive as hell for food no better than any other supermarket and the staff can't be bothered to help a customer. So...I won't bother ever going again. read more

This store is busy ! Lots of people coming. And going, be careful in the parking lot. I enjoy the selection of bread here, as well as the cleanliness. The lines get long at times but I they move quickly. The employees are nice and helpful, if they don't know where something is, they'll ask someone in the appropriate department for help. I shopped at Sprouts on Zafarano on Sunday late afternoon. I found 90% of the items on my list. I did the self checkout and as I finished paying I realized I forgot to use a coupon I had $5 off $15 produce. I looked around and Michelle came directly to my aid and without any hesitation addressed my request to honor the coupon even though I had completed my transaction. She made my day brighter. Their prepared food section has some nice options, a bit pricey but usually pretty good quality. The one exception is prepared produce, such as roasted Brussels sprouts. They are good, but go bad very fast. Pretty sure they start with the oldest nearly expired sprouts from the back when they make this. Beware. read more

We stopped by on Easter to pick up something. Store was pretty low on freshly prepared food, probably because of the holiday. The store has a interesting geographic orientation. It was a windy day and the dirt was powerfully flying into everyone's eyes. It is uncertain if this is a daily issue, or an unusual one. With relation to my food products, I had a terrible experience with Instacart today. The delivery lady from Sprouts left three heavy bags for me at a closed rear gate. In order to get my heavy delivery, I had to crawl under the gate and then walk the half mile back to my house. They have the idiotic "mask required to enter" rule but that a not why I'm giving them 1 star. It's because they are so paranoid the cashiers have to wipe down the conveyor belts and the cashier wet my leg with her spray after intentionally spraying straight in my direction. I was overcharged over two dollars on a loaf of bread ! They said to get a refund I would have to go to the cashier. There was one cashier with a long line of people with loaded grocery cards. Best time to shop is 7pm onwards. Popular with the 45-70 year old demographic, plus young parents who seem to choose this over Whole Foods. As such, it's crowded mornings and midday. Produce is fresh, plenty of fairly priced organics, with many deals like mangos as big as your face, 2/$3; $2 for org rainbow chard; $1.29 for org lacinato kale; $3/lb for parsnips; and the best, 4/$5 cartons of raspberries 5 star selection of local and gluten free non-perishables at about a 10-15% premium over Vitacost, which is fair. read more

Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, this was just like every other sprouts I've been to. There was a wide selection of fresh produce, meat, vitamins, and baked goods. I really like this market. Our go to when we get into town and have to get the basics for our visit. Top quality on produce and often things you can't find everywhere. Really nice local section. Many improvements have been done to this location of spouts. Frankly this is the best layout of sprouts I have seen in the southwest. The new self checkout is fast and easy to use. The staff is always helpful and the quality of produce is high. I recommend going before 4 on weekdays. They have Chile rosters in the parking lot and it's high quality hatch green Chile. Limited to edibles that are reasonably-priced. Go for the bulk (granola, coffee, nuts, rice, beans, cereals, grains, etc.) and other alternatives to the Albertson's selections. Sprouts is less crowded and expensive than the Whole Foods for pre-packaged items and selected fresh items in produce and meats, but nowhere near the quality, selection, and joyousness of the Whole Foods. Shop wisely and you could get the best of both. On my visit, all bulk, including coffee, was 25 percent off. That meant coffee was $7.49 per pound - a great price for varietals. Fuji apples were $0.99 per pound. The second visit found $6.99 per pound coffee and $0.99 blackberries. Yow! TIP: Wine, beer, and spirits available. TIP: Beans in bulk were the same price at the Whole Foods and Sprouts. TIP: Parking is no joy during busy times. TIP: No non-edibles that I could see; go to Albertson's or Target for those. I visited for the 2nd time yesterday. This visit was different. After grocery shopping, I spent time in the body fragrance aisle smelling delicious fragrances, but with a purpose. I was looking for healthy fragrant scents for skin, I have a skin condition. I have to be careful of the ingredients. A young worker felt it was her purpose in life to police my activities. I was so disappointed and irritated. I'm African American, and I am one of few that probably live in this area. In my 2 visits, I think I've spent over $400 here. It was MLK weekend too. In 2024, African Americans with natural hair are policed for smelling in the aromatic aisle. My heart still hearts. After I left, the child that monitored me in the aisle departed, no longer needing to continuously turn boxes that were in order from the beginning. I'm from DC, and had forgotten what it felt like to be monitored, shadowed, suspected of malfeasance in the store until last night. That girl could've been my granddaughter. The level of offense I felt is beyond. Unfortunately, my job has moved me here for several years. Guess I need to adjust to this area's commitment to racism and intolerance of non-white humans. Headed to the deli at Sprouts for a quick bite before heading elsewhere. I was enticed by their $3.99 build your own sandwich deal. (For those curious, I ordered a vegetarian sandwich on whole grain with veggies, mayo and cheddar) The workers at the deli were clearly unprepared and took roughly fifteen minutes to make my food. It would have been ten if I hadn't realized that all of their sandwiches came cold and asked if they could warm it up for me. I happened to be ravenous and immediately started eating casually. By the time my friends sandwich was made, I was halfway through mine. By the time we had arrived at the counter, I handed the cashier my empty wrapper and paid the $4.29 ($3.99+tax) for the sandwich. Overall, the service was incredibly slow and the sandwich itself was mediocre. If you're looking for a quick bite, I'd suggest heading over to a different café of just allotting extra time to go somewhere else. read more

While visiting Santa Fe, I chose to check out Sprouts Farmers Market. I wanted to bring home some red and green chile mixes, along with blue corn flour, and possibly some Hatch chiles. They had them all, except there was only one package of a blue corn flour mix. You bet I snagged it! Sprouts appeared to have great prices from vegetables, meat, fish, and even liquor. They had a deal on New Mexico wine that was 3 bottles for $10. I almost don't care what the wine tastes like if I can get my hands on 3 bottles for ten bucks! Okay, I do care, but it can't be that bad, right? Wine me! They also had a nice selection of beers. If you're thirsty, look no further. They had a bulk section, which is always a plus when it comes to grocery stores. Flours, nuts, etc. You could buy the bulk items already packaged for you, or you could choose you're own amount. Although I didn't grab a sandwich, I noticed they had a little Boar's Head deli inside. Who doesn't like some Boar's Head meat? I've never had a bad sandwich from a deli of such. My only real complaint, aside for not getting enough blue corn flour, would be the wafts of B.O. I caught as a couple of the employees walked by. I understand we're in New Mexico and all. It's hot. I get it. But, a little deodorant wouldn't hurt. Was that mean? I'm sorry, but it's hard to think about buying anything appetizing when your nose is being flooded with smells of someones stinky arm pit. read more

My sister & niece were visiting from Arizona and we went in for waters. Melissa's customer service was beyond rude, and she could use some training on how to be kind to the stores customers. Haven't had many good things to say about this location. I don't know how the Deli is managed, but my last 3 visits , I found the deli workers inattentive. I waited patiently, while they stood around. Talking. Looking right at me. And not acknowledging my presence. Then waiting on someone waiting behind me. When I tried to call their attention to it they ignored me. I have never had this problem at the other location. So I assume it's the management of the deli. Not training the employees properly? I don't like to complain but I feel this needs to be remedied. A couple of other shoppers expressed their similar feelings about the situation. I generally like this market, and in the past I have had excellent luck with their meat department. But a little over a week ago I got a package of filet mignon marked 1.22 lb. net weight at $30.49. Something didn't feel right about the weight when I opened the package, so I weighed it on my kitchen scale (very accurate!), and the actual net weight was 15.8 oz. Clearly, the weight had been taken with the packaging - but at this price ($24.49 lb.) the error amounted to $6. Corporate customer service was most understanding, realized that the store and not Instacart was at fault, and told me that the manager would contact me. But it hasn't happened so far. Lesson from this: buyer beware of accurate weight of packaged meats. I would still like a refund of that $6. Anybody from the store read this? read more

Sprouts is on of my favorite stores. What brought my experience down this visit was the cashier repeatedly coughing in her hand and without any thought was touching my vegtables. Totally grossed out by this experience. Seriously your staff should be trained to if they are going to cough while they are handling groceries to cough either in their elbow or at least use hand sanitizer between. But seriously tempted to throw away all the vegtables and fruit i just bought. read more
