It was cool getting to see them roasting fresh chile and the band that played was soo much fun! The best booth for us was Dancing Turtle Studio. Absolutely stunning pieces of art and my guy bought me one of the hot air balloon pieces to commemorate our 1st anniversary. It honestly couldn't have been more perfect! The artist herself was incredibly sweet and wonderful to talk with. It was amazing getting to hear about her process as well!

I was in Santa Fe for a field trip day of work. I ended up spending time browsing their high quality merchandises including some spices, balsamic vinegar and..olive oils. Man...there were so many things to sample and flavors...and I only tried a few of each that intrigued me. I got so into it that u even left my cell phone there (until someone announced out loud whose cell phone was this?!?!..oops). Anyways, I got their brochure home so I could plan on ordering and getting some items delivered for some of my friends and myself for sure...just need to decide what I wanted because there were so many things go choose from! Furthermore, what was so refreshing was their ice cream! The ice cresms were Henry's homemade ice cream (from El Paso i think) and there were so many interesting toppings ti choose from. My gluttony eyes and stomach ..after trying some samples, opted for a double scoops (because..just a single scoop wouldn't do justice to yummy treats!) of pistachio and coconut ice cream, with toppings of pomegranate dark balsamic and red chile honey. After finishing ice cream, which I totally devoured..I realized..sang u forgot to even ask for an evoo topping! Well, maybe next time I'm there! Check this place out! There are so many things check out and sample. The staff were nice and helpful. I think you can easily spend 30-45 min there browsing at the store. For me, I ended up being 45 min later than my original thought of meeting time..because I go so caught up spending time at this store checking out and trying their products!

I tried a few of each, and ended up getting a small bottle of the grilled lemon and rosé balsamics. They had some very New Mexico flavors with different chilies, and some other unique ones that I haven't seen at other oil shops. Aside from the balsamics and oils they had dried beans, olives, jams, seasonings, and spices. Customer service was very friendly and helpful, and they offer to ship out of state for visitors.

My friend and I stopped by Railyard Artisans Market on a pre-Christmas weekend. It's not too big and parking is relatively easy to find when we stopped by around 8-9am on a Saturday (we parked near the railyard station and there were plenty of (paid) street parking. But by the time we were back from the market, all the spots were filled up already). My friend got paintings from a vendor at Santa Fe Plaza the day prior to our visit to the railyard...and the next day ran into the same vendor again at Railyard market...so he bought more paintings from them and we had a good chat with them about their paintings! Overall, a great place to stop by. I don't suppose I would come here to shop for my groceries to get everything there at this market...but it's a good place to get a nice feel of Santa Fe, take visitors to see another side of Santa Fe, and take photos perhaps with the Santa Fe Market tall structure with Santa Fe Railyard name on it and with roadrunner train cabins nearby the station for sure.

My god, what a find!…read more A friend and I stumbled upon this store while on a two hour visit to Santa Fe on our way to Albuquerque. We loved it so much that we spent a significant amount of time in here sampling all of their balsamic vinegars. You'll feel like a kid in a candy store with all of the classy stainless steel dispensers available for you to sample at your leisure. It was so difficult to decide but I walked out of there a happy woman with a bottle of their 18 yr aged tradition balsamic vinegar (top seller) and a bottle of their, wait for it... Georgia Peach Balsamic Vinegar.. my god. As you would imagine, that vinegar is light colored, rich and sweet (just how I like my men). This place is a DEFINITE stop if you are a balsamic vinegar, olive oil and/or salt connoisseur. Prices are reasonable ($20/per bottle), considering the amount and the quality. I like to think of this place as a little slice of Europe in the middle of Santa Fe. Also, I came across this video tonight while trying to figure out if Oleaceae already had a presense on Yelp.
