I recently moved to Colorado from Oregon and have found my new favorite grocery store at the Wheat Ridge Sprouts. The store is so clean and inviting with excellent customer service. The associates greet me by name and are so helpful. Miss Dianne in the deli is just so kind and bring me joy when I get to see her. Gary the vitamin manager is outstanding. His wealth of knowledge is so helpful and he spends the time to help me get the items I need. Thank you for making an old man feel seen. read more

I recently visited this location on a shopping trip and I have to say the staff is some of the friendliest I've come across in a while. I was greeted by the cashier at self checkout with a warm "welcome in." the smell of fresh baked soda bread hung in the air. I was offered a sample right as I walked in. To my delight it was still warm. I made my way over to the deli for one of their made to order sandwiches. Every member of the staff that I came into contact with made sure I was able to find everything I needed. I will definitely be back. read more

I shopped here today and other than the young woman who served me in the meat department and the cashier, my experience was horrible! This visit was my first during the COVID19 pandemic and although I was wearing a face mask covering my mouth and nose, several staff members refused to answer questions I had. I also needed to see a manager concerning being overcharged and charged for an item I didn't receive last month. After waiting for several minutes, he took my receipt and headed towards a cash register. While I was standing nearby, 3 employees interrupted him all whom he spent a few minutes with. This coupled with the rude staff members I encountered today left a sour taste in my mouth about this store. Here's an excerpt from my "Nextdoor" post today: Last month, before the COVID restrictions took effect, I shopped this store. The cashier (Linda) was extremely rude, throwing my items into my grocery bags and not acknowledging my presence. When I arrived home, I noticed that not only had I been charged for an item I did not purchase, I was also overcharged for 3 sale items. I contacted the manager (Miranda) who was apologetic and suggested that I return with my receipt. As it turns out, I did not want to return at that time and since I was going to be in the area, I shopped there today. I have not been to a grocery store since the restrictions took effect since a neighbor shops for a group of us, however, I had a full face mask on, covering my mouth and nose when I entered the store. Not only were most of the employees very rude, when I attempted to resolve my issues with the manager, he was interrupted 3 times while I was waiting for my refund. When I arrived home and checked my receipt, I found that, once again, I had been overcharged for 4 sales items and charged for an item I had not purchased. Although 2 of the employees I interacted with were pleasant, the majority were rude. My advice is, check your receipt before you leave and don't expect any resemblance of customer service. This is easily one of the worst managed grocery stores I've been to. Two people at check out at 6pm while 3 others are organizing the shelves. Why wouldn't you train them to check people out? Today is 12/26/22. Just found several sandwich meats with an expiration date of 6/09/2022 at this Sprouts. When I brought it up to an employee she didn't say a word, just stared at me. I can't believe this had been missed since June... super gross. The meats were on sale too which made it look like they were trying to get rid of them. I go to this Sprouts several times a week seeing that I live close by. I have nothing but great things to say about the store. It's clean, well stocked, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. I often go the deli and they are always hustling and bustling! I like the products but the cashier today was super rude. There was a long line and she was going on about how bad she felt. Then my phone number wouldn't show up in the system, and she wouldn't help at all. Also they were talking about how another cashier was feeling sick. All wearing mask under noses. I work nearby and often go in to Sprouts for lunch. It is always a complete mess trying to get checked out. 2 people working the registers with lines stretching halfway across the store. Get more staff on registers during busy times please! I've started going elsewhere for lunch due to this chaos. Also, the new employee, Will could absolutely use more training on the register. July 25th, went into Sprouts for a few little things, and I get pulled out of the checkout line and told to go to the other register where no one is working, and I do as I am told, and the white lady behind me gets checked out and I am still waiting for a cashier at the other register...Yea, I am upset, and I feel neglected, but mostly, why me, because I am bit darker skin, darker hair, because I am not bright white complexion as the guy checking the other white lady out...Manager tells me it has nothing to do with racism, yet no one says hey, that was wrong of us to leave you there, so sorry, instead they make me feel like I am not of value, racist, maybe, but treated very poorly over all for simply wanting to pay and go home. Used to come here when it first opened, lovely staff. Where have they gone?! DON'T bring your own bags; unlike other Sprouts and natures grocers you can't even put your bags on the counter to bag your own, but instead finagle how to do it from your cart. This does not earn the two stars; the rude and shaming cashier who boasted about her age, how hard she worked, while not offering me any help at all. That gets the rating. ANDREA (old white woman with gray hair) is terrible at customer service and very rude. Mumbles under her breath, and only likes you if you're her age, which is a senior citizen. avoid her register at all cost unless you want attitude and comments under their breath. Was also rude when I asked for a manager because she knew that she was not being helpful and mumbling under her breath. By the attitude I got back she doesn't usually get called out for being unhelpful to customers. No need to be bitter at work because you work at sprouts around the holidays. read more

Long lines with employees standing around doing nothing. Not going to lie, there was a line almost completely across the store and nobody takes the initiative to get another lane open. This is almost the norm, and if you are going after work, forget about it! Only reason I go is because it is a block from my house. read more

I shop here about once a week. Often fresh produce is on the floor likey due to some careless or lazy customer and it seems the staff try to stay on top of that. Stockers in the fruits and vegetable section sometimes seem put out if you ask them for help finding something. It would really be great if another person worked the meat counter. It seems there is only ever one person there and they are in back and have no idea when someone is at the counter. Fresh food is mostly in good condition. Be ware of prepackaged items like strawberries though because sometimes they are near the end. read more

Just stopped in for a couple things and received the worst treatment by a cashier, Susie. She flipped the credit card reader aggressively away from us and said "I'll tell you when to do that". Her attitude was the absolute worst I've experienced. Zero reason to be aggressive and rude. The place was empty and she was standing around chatting with another cashier before hand, so it's not like she was stressed by a long line. If this is the type of person they keep employed at this location I truly hope it closes down. I should have checked Yelp reviews prior to visiting. The store was clean and well stock. Zero customers at check-out. I stepped up to the open lane where 4 employees were talking. I waited a minute without any acknowledgement and then asked the cashier if her lane was open. She told me yes but continued her conversation without eye contact with me or any attempt to tally my order. After another minute, she turned towards the register, put something in the register and scanned my three items. She never made eye contact or said a word to me. At the end of the transaction she held the receipt out while continuing to talk to the bagger. I've never felt less valued as a customer. I will never return to this store. read more

I don't know what everyone's problem is. I go to this store regularly as its one street over and I never have issues. I like its similarity to Whole Foods, but less hippy dippy because they still use Satan's plastic grocery carriers. They've got some prime beef, produce and fruit here for not a bad price. Other cool products too that are off brand but still quality. Some things are pricy but it depends if you wanna treat yourself or not. The employees are actually very informative and always know the location of what I'm looking for, whether it's something for joint pain or soy lecithin. Some people that work here are kinda quiet and reserved but put yourself in their shoes. How many times a day can someone make small talk with a stranger about the weather or how they're doing (spoiler alert: they're good, even if they're stuck in a miserable marriage with a snot-nosed bratty kid that smells like wet dog, THEY'RE GOOD.) without getting bored and tired of it? Props to you if you can always fake a happy-go-lucky attitude for your customer but for most people that deal with the public, it's emotionally de-energizing. Anyway, I'm gonna sum this place up with 4 stars because they have a milk container recycling program but it's too expensive to where it just makes sense to keep buying the other kinda milk jugs. So I wish it was more affordable to re use your milk jug here but after a while it just stopped making sense to me. read more

This store is awesome if you got the cash to blow on natural foods- I've been to the the one at the old elitches lot in north Denver - I use to go there because my sister worked there and she taught me how to use the ad's to save money and we used her discount - This location is a few blocks away from my parents house and they like shopping here- So I came along and needed a few things as well- I also brought my 5 year old and she wanted lunchables lol After explaining to her they don't sell those here, she picked out 7 dollar cheese - I decided we can find her food at another chain - I did get a few things because I came in and found they did have fruit on sale, so that was a plus- As for the customer service, The people that work here I give them 5 stars because of the snobby Yuppie's they have to tolerate- I don't think I would last a day in there shoe's putting up with the nose in the air, better then everyone else attitude of half- (I say half because not everyone that shop's here is a jerk) But you know who you are!!! )) the clientele they have to serve- read more

My husband and I regularly shop at Sprouts- we love the produce and selection. However, the deli is a hot mess. Employees consistently seem stressed out when anyone orders a sandwich or completely ignore anyone who wants to order and pretend to be busy packaging up containers for the premade items. Today we ordered a sandwich and were told to write down the info for what we wanted. The sandwich was never prepared though we checked in several times. The staff who told us to write it was eating her own food in the back of the deli. The previous time i ordered it took 20 min to get the sandwich made and the staff kept going back to the sandwich press bc realized she'd forgotten the correct ingredients and pulling off bacon that wasn't supposed to be on the sandwich. read more

I have no idea why reviews of this Sprouts are so meh, because it's an absolute dream store! All the other Sprouts' I've been to were so dizzyingly crowded you could barely navigate your cart throughout the aisles. This Sprouts is always lovely, and the people that work there are kind and helpful.
