The event is hosted by the owner, where she guides the group to the vines and gives a history of the vineyard and such. As we move through the vineyard, we heard from our chef and where all our food was sourced, and how it was prepared. We are then guided to a large table with fresh bread and butter as the next several courses are served. The cedar planked salmon with strawberry balsamic chutney was the highlight of the meal. The salmon was tender and moist, and strawberry atop was the best flavor combination. Each pairing of wine throughout the evening was perfect, everything went well with each dish. The best was the specially served 2016 Semillon Ice Wine Wahluke Slope! Literally the best tasting wine I've ever had, light but packed with flavor. To wrap up our dinner experience we were served a rhubarb crisp and could purchase wine to take home. My husband and I took home two bottles: 2024 Pinot Gris from Yakima Valley which we were served.
