The burger was thin, had a funky sauce that just had a weird taste. The bacon was tough and bun was overwhelming for the size of the burger. The burger didn't seem to be seasoned but was cooked well. Having been professionally trained by an executive chef, I know how flavors should be paired. This was a miss, in my opinion. I have had better burgers at the Hi Iu for less money. What also drew me in was their candy selection. While it's not a huge section some of the things they have are quite unique. Like a licorice caramel for example. I purchased a few of those and they were very enjoyable! Definitely a great place to swing by and take in their options. To one side of the shop it looked like a small wine tasting area. While it was closed when we were there probably it being close to them closing that is something to explore there as well.
