I have been to the former location across the way on Bouquet Canyon before and loved my experience. Newer location is smaller inside. Great tasting donuts and nice people. However today was my first time at the new location on Seco Canyon and I was a little disappointed. The donuts taste awesome. They make theirs light and fluffy unlike the average donut shop which is more cakey. Most of the donuts are much larger in size than other donut shops too, so dunking in your coffee will be a challenge - haha. I lost one star for the poor selection. Not sure if it was just this morning - 7:30 on a Friday, or what but there were only the basic donut variety out. Not many variations on frosted sprinkles like you would expect, especially the day before Halloween. I was looking for some festive orange and chocolate treats. Another note was the lack of muffins. They literally had 3 muffins out. 3 chocolate chip muffins total!!! No other flavors. I asked if they had any more and they said no - not for today. Again it was 7:30am on a Friday. Hmm so yea I left a little disappointed. Great tasting donuts but light selection, at least for today. read more

I tried this for the first time and boy are they worth it. The donuts are soft, and very delicious. There's an interesting and pleasant texture that I think the potato flour brings. The variety is excellent and the service is quick. I also think they are extremely cost effective considering how many you get. I will be back. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quality donut. read more

Spudnuts is still our favorite donut shop!! Got our usual order that I get on late start Wednesdays. Regular donuts are $1.00 ea. Why would you go get less tasty donuts that cost more?? Dunkin charges $1.29 for regular donuts and $1.89 for a tiny apple fritter that only had the apple in the glaze on top, not in the fritter like Spudnuts, which is TWICE the size and costs $1.80! I tried Dunkin for the 1st time on Monday....I won't be going back. The jelly filled donut cost less but my daughter said it was gross! She loves Spudnuts raspberry filled and my son likes the Boston creme filled...which again are both bigger than Dunkin versions! #spudnutsarethebestdonuts read more

I was so happy to see there was a spudnuts when we moved out to SCV last year. They have the BEST crumb donuts!! No one else compares. We are also a huge fan of their chocolate donuts and my husband loves their cinnamon rolls. read more

i would be giving this place 5 stars for the best apple fritters you can't get anywhere else BUT today's experience dropped it to 2 stars . . . so i stopped by to buy a dozen doughnuts, i usually go to S&S but figure i always come here for the fritters, why not grab a dozen this time when I asked for it, I said id like the dozen doughnuts and aside from that, an apple fritter on it's own so basically one dozen doughnuts+the apple fritter what did i get? exactly 12 doughnuts, which included the apple fritter, PLUS I was charged the extra for the apple fritter being a "premium" doughnut... above all else, you really have to be THAT cheap and not give a baker's dozen? never getting a dozen doughnuts from here again read more

Spudnuts Donuts makes a poor cronut-style donut knock-off. I've tried them from six local shops and this place is way down at #6. After driving more than half an hour to get here around noon, I was lucky to get one of their last cronuts. Unfortunately, my luck ran out when I finally decided to try it. I could only manage a quarter of it before giving it to a friend. There was no flakiness or finesse to it and all of the custard just soaked through the cronut. I can appreciate the effort, but this was far from my favorite and definitely not worth the drive. I'm glad every donut shop is selling out of their own imitation cronut, but I would avoid this place altogether if you're looking for something special. read more

There's nothing too fancy or amazing here, but I always leave with yummy amazing-smelling goodies. Make sure to come early because the options definitely do dwindle as time passes! In the morning you might get lucky with fresh donuts that are still warm! I'm a fan of the blueberry donut (I think they're just made on weekends), glazed donuts, and chocolate croissant. Honestly if you just see something that looks appealing just get it because I'm sure it'll be good. read more

After the hype of the new Dunkin Donuts opening across town; I was caught up in the opening day crowds. And giving them two tryouts, both terrible, we started trying Spudnuts again. Vastly superior to the above mentioned. The Glazed are near perfection. My family raves about the taste here. I've had better (Winchell's) but definitely my go to donuts in Santa Clarita now. read more

I was getting donut holes for an event and was deciding on this place or another bakery that was closer to my work. I had not been to either location before. I chose this one and I am glad I did. The donuts were fresh and delicious. The only downfall is that they charge you to use a debit card. Now that I know next time I will bring cash. read more

I asked for a dozen, she boxed it up, I paid & left. I wish I had paid attention to what kind she was putting, or chose the ones I liked, because it seems like she put all the regular ones. There is a great selection on pan Dulce and donuts. Another complaint I had was the lack of coffee. There was one roast or an ice blended option and no substitute milks.

I'm happy to say that customer service took the time to respond, listen to my concern, and ultimately helped resolve the situation. I truly appreciate their effort and professionalism in addressing an issue that I had been trying to resolve. I do wish the store manager had taken the initiative to address the situation when she first responded to my review instead of leaving me to escalate it myself. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. I'm glad that, after escalating the matter, I was finally able to get it resolved.
