I went to this mom and pop shop on national donut day later in the day. At that point they were almost sold out. However the donuts that they did have were drill fresh and tasty. I got a maple cake donut for the first time which as so good! Also their apple fritters are are crispy on the outside yet soft inside. Every donut we had was tasty. This is a pretty convenient spot for breakfast and sweets. I normally come to get their giant boba drinks. I find it's cheaper for the size compared to the other boba spots in town. I even brought my siblings who live out of SoCal to this spot for a quick meal and they loved it. Generally the customer service is amazing besides a younger lady who I felt was rude when she was taking my order. This business is completely unfair. The customer service from the employees and the manager is astonishing! I think it's completely unfair to serve spoiled drinks and when you're called out about it, you don't offer any other solution but free donuts. When you already paid for donuts this morning, you just want a beverage to wash down the donuts you already purchased.... Do not order any of their smoothies. I'm not sure how to explain it because they're not used with milk, but the powder is spoiled and disgusting. I ordered four drinks, three separate flavors and they all tasted like crap. The intention of this review is in hopes that THE OWNER JENNY will read it and actually do something about her employee's customer service. We frequently come to the charging station , we are here almost every other week. My first encounter with Ms.Sassy pants was just as eventful as my second encounter with her. My husband is just too kind to walk away and purchased something despite her uninviting customer service. Fast forward to today. In my mind maybe she was having a rough day from my first encounter. Mind you I speak and read in English very well. You can't miss the sign that says "NO PUBLIC RESTROOM". I walk in she doesn't even turn my way. Very best old fashioned traditional donut shop next to the Tesla Supercharger on the side of Interstate Highway 5. They have very good coffee with plenty of fresh milk and soft drinks but the chewy fresh donuts and croissant sandwiches are priced around $1.80 range. I'm in Luv 'n Donuts so much that I bought old fashioned cake donut, chocolate long john, plain raised donut and the best raspberry filled donut. I'm strongly recommend this place. RUDE!! we always stop at the tesla charger in this location and have always had curiosity about this donut place. Today we decided to give it a try it was 6 of us. If the owner is reading this please check your cameras at around 5:40pm on Feb 20th. As we entered we were looking around at all the options because we are going on a long road trip and wanted to take snacks. As we were looking a female came out and rudely asked if we were going to consume or not. So i clarified to her that in fact we were but the people i was with none spoke english and i needed to translate. We asked if she had a specific type of coffee and rudely answered NO. So at this point i got fed up and we decided to not purchase anything. Never will i return. It's unacceptable to have to be treated this way. The worst thing about this place is the entitled Tesla charger customers who come inside complaining about no bathroom. The customers show extreme disrespect to the owners who have always treated myself & many customers with such respect. The food is absolutely fresh and made with love. I come here every morning at 4am sharp to get the freshest ham & cheese croissants. Everything is so warm and fresh right before work. The owners are very accommodating like cutting these donuts and croissants in half if you ask. However, every time I come here, I witness such RUDE customers from the Tesla superchargers berating and harassing the workers and owner. I really can't stand their sense of entitlement to be rude. They are the ones overfilling the trash cans outside with their car trash, yet complaining about trash. They are the ones spilling their coffee and boba on the way out. Absolutely terrible customers, the owners deserve a better customer base. I'm so glad we have the local detention center cops & respectful customers that visit alongside myself that love this place! The donuts are amazing and the coffee tastes like a great diner or breakfast coffee. The staff work fast and get everyone in and out asap, which is very good for a morning rush. Stopped here while charging a Tesla. Open bright and early! We walked in at 6am to a fresh variety of hot coffee (at least 8 different kinds), and an even larger variety of donuts. They have the option to warm those suckers up! My family opted for a variety sample, while I went with the classic old faithful plain glazed. OH EHM GEE. This may have been the best donut I've ever, ever had in my life. It tasted like if Krispy Kreme had a baby with Dunkin Donuts only better. Super light and fluffy with just the right amount of sugar. No heavy feeling after and fully satisfied. They take card transactions over $5, have tap capability, and were super polite and efficient. 5 stars easy. Nothing bad to say here. read more
