I was craving a donut this morning and I quickly searched a donut shop around my work area. This was the first on my list. Plenty of parking in the early morning and I was helped right away as there was no one inside waiting. I got my favorite chocolate round donut and the chocolate buttercream. Average donut, nothing out of the ordinary but to my surprise both came out to be $4.25 plus a $.50 card usage fee. A little on the expensive side but it helped my cravings. High prices. The egg is done in advance, who knows how long they leave it in the counter for, even if it's properly stored, it not freshly made. But the worst is the customer service, it looks like some of the girls that work there hate their job, as if they can't stand customers, oh and don't get me started with the Woman who is either the manager or the owner... she is an very nasty person... heard her say a very racist comment to a Mexican lady in one occasion, sadly no one said anything including myself but I cant see myself buying from them after that. Better options elsewhere for example: 85 degrees Bakery Café across the Street by Target Shopping center is amazing, the coffee is really good, the bread is individually wrapped and they have a whole selection of breads for a very decent price, go there instead. read more

Who loves donuts? I do!! So when I spotted Luv'n Donuts in Santa Clarita, I knew that I had to try them. This local shop was busy that Saturday morning with several patrons ahead of me. Did not have to wait too long. Service was quick and friendly! Got two of my favorite donuts. A Chocolate French Cruller and a Boston Creme donut. Not all donut shops make French crullers so I was happy to see they had some. Their version was spot on, and I was pleased with it. The Boston Creme donut was above average delicious with a good ratio of custard to dough which is always important to me because I hate it when there is not enough custard inside. Pretty much a guarantee that I will be returning whenever I'm in the neighborhood craving donuts. read more

Donuts are usually decent but was just looking for a toasted bagel. Walked in. Nobody there and employees seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Asked if I got just have wheat bagel toasted with a little butter. Response - we don't have butter... I said you have all these baked goods and sandwiches and you don't have butter in the entire restaurant. She shrugged we have cream cheese and walked away from me. I'm sure one person won't kill your business but continued poor service like that over time will. Unfortunately I'll never be back to see if it improves. read more

The donuts are always fresh, great selection, awesome prices and they have a lot of other food selections for breakfast, as well as coffee and snacks. The service is absolutely wonderful. The owner is very kind and shows her customers a lot of respect, as well as the staff working there is always nice. Cashier was very nice and polite. But I came at the end of the day. So the doughnuts were not not going to be very fresh which is understandable but the reason for my three star is because I like to go to this type of doughnut shops for my Thai ice tea. The good: They have outdoor seating! I got 2 crullers and 2 turkey croissant sandwiches (for around $5-6 each). Crullers have that twisted pattern and are a little more stretchy and chewy than the regular raised yeast donut. My husband husband and I both don't prefer them but they're a fun "twist" on a donut. The croissant sandwich tasted great. The croissant itself was huge! It was the largest croissant sandwich I've ever had. I liked how all of the ingredients inside were pressed and not loosely stacked (which makes for it to fall apart easily). It looked as though the sandwich may have been put into a sandwich press. I liked how flaky and toasted the croissant was. It came with tomato, lettuce, pickle, mayo and mustard. They also sell some cake slices and a variety of bottled drinks like tea and juices. They also have some bagels. The service was quick. The bad: I wanted a milk tea smoothie or liquid drink but they were out of it. The donut varieties were mostly basic and expected. I think the pumpkin donut was the biggest "unique" donut. I didn't see sugared donuts when I came today but perhaps they ran out. Although their donuts are great, I feel my son and I came out with PTSD due to horrible service (7/2/23)! My son was trying to select the dozen donuts and the lady was so rude during the whole process. She was so impatient and condescending toward my son you would've thought the shop was riddled with customers. But no, there were merely two other gentlemen patiently waiting for service after us. I even noticed in their faces how rude she was being. Please hire someone who knows how to treat customers. Worst experience. Came here after running errands for my mother. I was limited in time as I had to go pick up my son and came here to grab a croissant sandwitch. I could've easily gone to McDonald's but I wanted something I felt would taste more "home made ". The server was dead pan and she didn't seem to even want to be there. I stood there while she made my sandwitch and I expected her to go back into the kitchen to make it or something but right there in front of me she took out aTupperware from the fridge and started to microwave previously cooked eggs and bacon!!!!! Today, for the first time I thought my chocolate chip donut was too oily and I went to ask if they could do anything about it. Jenni, an employee immediately snatch my donut and touched it and said we fry the donuts and they are always made the same and gave me my donut back. Because she touched my donut and then gave it back, I requested to get a new one. She then looked at me like I was crazy. Wouldn't you want your donut replaced after they've touched your donut without consent? Jenni then replaced my donut with a chocolate glazed, not my original donut. I then asked her again if she can just replace it with the same one I had purchased. She then snatch the donut she had replaced and gave me a chocolate chip and Jenni had the courage to tell me she gave me a donut she thought wasn't oily. Now who is she to tell me which donut to eat? I said thank you and walked out to keep "enjoying" my donut. Moments later, Jenni comes out and asked me how is my donut. I then explained to her that I have yet to try it again but that I was disappointed with the way I had been treated by her demeanor and in return have me an excuse that she responded that way because I complained about the donut. Jenni also stated that this donut shop does not do any exchanges or refunds. Jenni kept giving me excuses as to why she behaved a certain way. This was my first time trying out this place. I came in looking for 2 donuts and came out with 6, ha ha. They have a great selection of donuts that look super fresh and not oily or greasy at all. I ate a chocolate glaze sprinkle donut today and it was SO GOOD. Very light, fluffy, pillowy texture. This place is like a typical no frills mom and pop shop. So don't come here expecting an extravagant experience. The donuts are great and I didn't have any issues with customer service. Went this morning for a cinnamon roll and coffee. The various coffees are self serve for customers, similar to Panera. I ate my roll, drank my coffee and then went back to refill my $3.50 coffee. The Chinese lady at the front snapped at me "no refill!" and I said if she doesn't want costumers getting refills, she shouldn't have them out for self serve like that without any signage. They also do not leave that gross grease stain on the box & weird grease aftertaste in my mouth that most donuts give me. They obviously use a much better quality oil/fry system. I visit this shop at least once a week, sometimes twice. I always call ahead for my usual order of "large" donuts and a couple sandwiches for my weekly job site visits. They are always ready for me along with my usual large coffee. Their donuts are great tasting as are their sandwiches, usually bacon/egg/cheese on bagel or croissant. I normally don't write reviews but I have time today. . . I would give 5 stars for the donuts, smoothies and pastrami sandwhich. Unfortunately I can't do that because customer service is TERRIBLE! I have been here more than 5 times and everytime the owner is so nasty to me. My whole family comes here and we don't always come together. Today I just so happened to come in with my Grandfather and he was already saying how they treat him wrong when he normally comes in. When we walked in nobody said anything. I then spoke and said Good Morning, the two ladies both looked at me and said nothing. So I said it again and louder this time because "maybe" they could not hear me over the mask.
