Top-notch, classic Wisconsin bar serving a great fish fry on a Friday night. The perch plate with cole slaw, seasoned fries and a Newcastle Brown on tap was really fine. I only get to this part of the country about once a year but have been doing so for the past 20 years. I think I can say this is the best Friday night fish dinner I've had. We started off with a plate of fried cheese curds and again, some of the very best we've had. Service was snappy, the restaurant/bar is run by two sisters, one we chatted with before entering and it's clear they know what they're doing. Lots of pool tables, video games, music playing loud, it's noisy but a fun atmosphere. The place has apparently been redone lately and looks quite modern in comparison to some bars in the small towns in the area. Highly recommended. If you're looking for a real classic plate of Wisconsin chow, it'd be hard to find any finer than what we had tonight. Cash only, so bring the bills. read more

Came on a Saturday- big choice of sandwiches, fish and wraps. We had the delicious BBQ ribs and my dad had the ham dinner. Yummy food. Friendly service. My sister was here for Friday fish fry and it was good too. However they don't take credit cards but there is an ATM onsite. Come early if you want to be sure the ribs are not sold out. read more

Great food, cold drinks, $2 Spudz burgers on Thursdays! Atmosphere is bright and updated. Country bar. My only complaint is that the staff can be rude and have even argued with me over a drink that was advertised on the tables and they said they did not have. Bartender did apologize afterwards. The more we go to the bar though the friendlier the bartenders are as they recognize us though. read more

The bar was redone. Looks great. The dining room was nice. But where we sat there was a very strong smell of gas. Besides it was hot in there. The waitress was very pleasant. Then when we were leaving my hubby and I had to go to the bathroom. Ladies bathroom was filthy, hot like 100 degrees in there. Was not impressed at all. But the food was excellent.
