Chai latte with soy milk
Toni Rose D.

Such a cozy place. I ordered a chai latte with soy milk and it was everything I wanted it to be. I also ended up buying three types of coffee beans to bring back home. The employees are so sweet and took the time to explain to me the different types of coffees they have. My friend and I were able to sit at the bar side and catch up over a latte before having dinner.

Spyhouse is always a go to for us. With good coffee and an amazing study space, they are an amazing coffee shop. There are many around, and you won't be disappointed when you visit. I had the caramella and a hot coffee. I loved the latte and will definitely have it again, but it didn't come out as hot as I would have liked it. But the taste was exactly what I wanted. It gets pretty busy and the space to order isn't the largest, so waiting in line gets a little cramped.

We found this coffee shop yesterday walking by and the decor was very nice and classic. I had a cortado and I really like the flavor of the coffee. My friend had a hot chocolate and she said it was good. We arrived at 830pm and they closed at 9pm and the staff was really nice and we didn't feel rushed. I would definitely come back.

Genterrific! They have a convenient corner location and that cold brew with whole milk went a long way to give me a morning pick me up.

I visited two different Spyhouse Coffee shop during my visit to Minneapolis-Saint Paul. They were the perfect place to get my class work done after a day full of conference workshops. Each shop had its own vibe, the Nicollet street shop has High ceilings, a tone of plants hanging from different areas as well as set along the windows. The windows offer all the natural light you need because they are massive and line the entire shop! There was outdoor seating at both the locations I visited which is nice for those who prefer to be outside. It was spacious, welcoming and extremely clean. Over the course of my visit I tried their cold brew, butter croissants, and their Rosella tea which I s steeped personally for each customer! I will definitely be back to visit other locations.

Great atmosphere with a lot of good looking and well-dressing people. Lol. It is super spacious inside with lots of tables. I recommend to sit by the windows. What I am super excited about is their oat milk. I am told that they are discontinuing their almond milk. But the oat milk is local and delicious. Normally I get chai or mocha, both are good here. Their baked goods are little too sweet for me so I try to avoid it. Barista is super cool. Great place! Street parking.

Spyhouse Coffee is always on my list when I visit Minnesota. This is one of my favorite locations because of the area. Street parking isn't too hard to find which is a plus. Some friends and I started the day with brunch and stumbled upon this Spyhouse location after. For a Saturday morning, it was not super packed and we were able to find a spot to sit and hang out easily. I love their drip coffee and their lattes are consistently good every time I visit. This space offers a great environment for working, hanging out with friends, or studying. Highly recommend!

This particular Spyhouse Coffee is located in a great part of Minneapolis! There are amazing eateries and stores all around. The only issue here is parking. You will have to find street parking so come a little earlier if you plan on meeting someone here for a coffee date. It's a popular area so it will be busy throughout the day. The cafe is spacious but really popular. It's usually filled with people for the most part. It was hard to find a seat during the 5-6 p.m. hours. The coffee is ok, nothing to special but gets the job done.

Love this boutique coffee shop which has the awesome fair trade coffee beans. Great branding and like the pour over coffee reminds me of blue bottle coffee in San Francisco but a less shiny vibe and more real.

Awesome coffee and tasty treat options! We were so happy we stumbled upon this shop. Couldn't ask for more in a local coffee joint.

Cute but over-priced/gentrified feel. Baked goods extremely expensive- this place caters to a specific crowd.

I ordered the French Toast Latte. It was good, but I think I should have gone with one of the seasonal drinks if I was looking for more of that "wow" factor. The veggie momos took about 20 minutes to come out, which seems pretty standard since they're made fresh. The wait didn't feel long at all. They arrived hot, and the filling was delicious mostly cabbage and potato. The portion was generous and filling. I also loved the chili sauce, it had a nice kick without overpowering the dumplings. The cafe itself has such cozy vibes. It looks small from the outside, but there's plenty of seating inside. I also loved the individual task lights above the smaller tables. It's a small detail, but it made the space feel really thoughtful. The only downside is that there isn't much natural light, so the cafe can feel a little dark, especially toward the back. The staff was the biggest disappointment. They weren't rude, but they came across as pretty standoffish, which made the experience feel less welcoming than the space itself. I ordered the light roast coffee and, unfortunately, it was pretty terrible. That said, the menu is huge with lots of different drinks and food options, so I'm sure there's something on it that would be a much better choice. I also didn't try any of the pastries, but they looked absolutely massive and definitely caught my attention. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more. The atmosphere is great and it seems like an excellent spot to work or relax for a while, but the coffee and less than welcoming service left me a little underwhelmed. I'd be willing to give it another shot and try something different from the menu.

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

There's a decent amount of it, but it's not really comfortable and it feels like there's plenty of room to add more seating throughout the space. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The menu is a little limited, but what I had was excellent. I ordered the light roast coffee and it was super good. I was also happy to see they carry Cardigan Donuts. If you have not had one before, they are absolutely worth trying! The biggest drawback for me was the WiFi. It was so unreliable that it made getting work done almost impossible, which is a pretty significant downside for a coffee shop. Overall, I enjoyed the coffee, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff, but the limited menu, somewhat uncomfortable seating, and especially the poor WiFi kept this from becoming one of my go to coffee shops.
