This place was in such a great spot. What a cool building! From out of town, so wanted to stop by a local coffee place while I had the morning open. Went here and had the caramel apple latte and an iced vanilla latte. The drinks were great!! I really loved my experience here, I wish I was there earlier to get some food. I loved my design on my drink :)

The loveliest Sunday afternoon coffee shop! We visited during our browsing at Dayton's Market, it was the perfect stop for some r&r before finishing our shopping. I had the most delicious salted caramel latte, and my friend had the Sunday Morning latte with maple syrup. If you order a hot latte it comes with a cute image on top!

Downtown Minneapolis has some pretty impressively attractive and comfortable coffee shops (as every cold-weather city should!). Spyhouse at the Emory Hotel had been my favorite for years, until I recently discovered this Gray Fox location, which has a more modern ambiance, superior coffee, and a more convenient location. Will definitely return to pass a couple of hours the next time I'm in the city.

Staying in downtown Minneapolis I was looking for a cool local coffee spot and Greyfox coffee was walking distance so I headed in that direction. Housed inside an office building the space is very cool! Open within an atrium of sorts. Different varieties of seating from comfy couches to table tops. There was only one person working so service was a little slow. But the coffee presentation and my egg sandwich were awesome.

Stopped here for a morning beverage before heading to the Foshay observation deck, which was conveniently located next door! I got a matcha latte, but unfortunately it tasted more of milk than matcha.. imagine a cup of milk with a splash of matcha. The staff was nice and the spot was cute, but I wish the flavor was there!

Solid coffee shop, but a tad difficult to find. Got a little lost, so it is a place that takes effort to find. However the spot is nicely designed and cozy, and the coffee is solid. They have a menu with their most popular as well as seasonal. Ordered their honey lavender iced latte. It was a bit sweet for my taste, but the coffee flavor was great. Highly recommend!

Happy to discover this superb cafe hidden inside the "Deluxe Plaza" building during an October 2024 public health conference. Lots of pluses. First, the nice jolt of espresso-level caffeine (Cafe Americano) was far superior to the free and weak coffee at the hotel. Second, the seating areas are conducive to doing a little bit of email catchup or chatting with a small group of friends. Third, this location is completely inside an office building (no street noise and likely to be a welcome respite in cold weather. One downside is that the service may be slower than expected depending on the time of day (would not recommend going to this place if you're in a rush). That said, I think it's an awesome place to chill out if you have 60 minutes to take a mental health break from attending a conference with 12,000 people.

The inside space is huge and very convenient to work in! It's located inside deluxe plaza with street parking available outside. I tried the nutty squirrel which was a latte with a mixed nut syrup that included hazelnut and almond. I wish it was a bit more on the sweeter side, but I usually prefer my drinks to be sweet. They had other specialty drinks available as well I'd love to try in the future.

To put it simply, this place didn't quite land for me. My whole goal was to get a great breakfast, coffee, and workspace. Even though I had vetted this out, it was pretty tough to find (inside a big office building) and once I got in there was no breakfast on the menu available. Even looking now (around 1pm), it's showing breakfast-only with online ordering, but when I was there is was only lunch available. The sandwich I had was made with care (nice staff) but didn't taste good. Warped spinach, sweet jam on savory turkey and just wasn't good. The nitro coffee was great, however. I think they do coffee well. Lastly, I wanted a nice work space and this certainly looks like it, however their music and speakers were skipping, crackling and cutting out.. noticeably! It happened every 3-5 seconds and was cranked up pretty loud, so it was incredibly distracting. I was already committed because of calls I had, and had to utilize noise cancelling headphones to try to get through. Swing and a miss, but surely not a bad place overall to try out if you need a great cup of coffee.

This Gray Fox Coffee & Wine Bar is located inside an office building, so you might pass it up your first time here (like I did). I ordered a medium iced clever bee which provided the afternoon pick-me-up that I needed. The Lavender and honey flavor came through well, and the drink was too sweet. Id definitely be back if I was in the area to try out their other specialty lattes or smoothies.

Love their unique latte offerings. Each one comes with a different picture printed on the foam. I got the fox latte, which has a maple syrup flavoring. It was delightful! They also have squirrels and other animals printed on other lattes. Also a really beautiful interior. They have a really high ceiling so the space feels very airy.

I had the Nutty Squirrel and a bacon cheddar breakfast bagel. I loved the latte art! The addition of garlic aioli to the breakfast sandwich was a unique touch. Other than that, neither the sandwich or the latte really stood out to me. I think I would have preferred the latte with extra shot of espresso.

The vibe was very nice with the fireplace but food and drink were totally disappointing. The latte art doesn't look anything like in the menu. The matcha was very light and sweet. I felt like drinking green sugar water. The turkey sausage was extremely salty. The muffin was hard I wasn't able to bite. Price was not worth it.

The wine list is really thoughtful and leans toward smaller, lesser-known producers and unique regions. Even if you know wine well, there are still plenty of interesting picks here. Just note that by-the-glass options are limited, so it's more of a place where you end up ordering a bottle. The space is beautifully designed. Very minimal, clean, and intentional. It feels elevated without being overdone. It is definitely expensive for what it is. Both the wine and food lean high in price, but you're also paying for the atmosphere and overall experience. The menu is also a bit different in a fun way. The tinned fish selection stands out and isn't something you see often. The radish butter and bread was a highlight and absolutely worth ordering. Service is a little unconventional since you order at the counter, which feels a bit off given the pricing, but everything still runs smoothly.

We wanted a recommendation and the wine picked for us was excellent. Went with the Plavac Milos. The food is honestly incredible! The carrots were my favorite. Someday I'll get enough courage to try the tinned fish. I wish seating was a little more comfortable for the whole "drink a bottle and stay awhile" vibe. It also can get pretty loud when it's busy in the tight quarters.
