I am now on my 30th day of PHP, and I can confidently say that the work we've done together has transformed me on every level--emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and personally. Because of Joshua, I don't just understand what recovery looks like--I know how to live it. He's helped me build a foundation rooted in honesty, integrity, and purpose. His guidance, presence, and challenge have allowed me to confront the things I've avoided for years and step into a version of myself I never thought possible. Located in lovely Palm Springs with a view of the mountains that is breathtaking, they are perfectly situated to provide the serenity needed for recovery. The counselors, therapists and nurses all genuinely cared for the residents and it showed it every interaction. I learned some incredible coping skills to deal with trauma in a way that was digestible for me. The daily regimen kept me busy and at first I was not a fan of it, but by the end of my stay I learned the deeper purpose behind it. The rules and policies were created to keep me safe from harm and to reinforce the focus I needed in order to be successful, and I was. Teresa L., Hubert, Shana, Annie D., Cynthia, Shelly, Tom, Karen, Donna and Sheila....well the entire staff created a space that helped me transform from a shadow of the man I was to the centered man I am today. The accommodations need a little sprucing up, but I witnessed ongoing changes when I was there indicating that like the rest of the world, they are regrouping post covid. I made friends at MH that I deeply cherish and I am grateful. Words fail to describe the depth of my gratitude, so the best way to say thank you is simply live the best life I can with the tools I now possess. I was frustrated and…read moreunimpressed with the usual run-of-the-mill therapists where they run you through like cattle and send you home with a video, so I sought other options. I found Palm Springs Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Joshua Callahan, lead therapist, got me right. In no waiting. He set me up with Rick Rayburn. His therapy was strong, effective and I am feeling so much better. Wish I hadn't waited. Joshua also makes sure outpatients have front-row, reserved parking. Would I go back? In a beat. They are kind, compassionate and caring! Jonas is also a star there. He seems to be reserved for inpatient care. Lucky patients. He is superb. They call you by name and give you a full 45-minute workout and sometimes more.

Accommodations could not have been better and had a large private room. The staff there was top notch (aside from 1 or 2 exceptions, as anywhere) and took excellent care of me. The Nurses, especially Geraldine and Leslie were outstanding, as well as the CNA's, especially Michael, Cheyanne and Jennifer. Other staff were excellent as well. The administrative staff were all very helpful, especially Renae and Glenora. A special THANKS to the PT & OT staff who helped me immensely to get stronger and ready for discharge home: Tim, Alex and Michael were especially helpful as well as the other staff. Sorry if I left anyone out (in any category) but couldn't remember everyone's name. I would highly recommend going here if a Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility was being considered.

She was transfered with her records. Staff at Rancho acted like they did not have them. I Left messages every day for 3 days to speak with the Dr . he never returned my calls, Called nurses desk half the time no answer. 1 out of 4 times some one returns my calls. less then half the time did some one have update on her present condition.. conflicting information. she had theropy , she did not have theropy because of COVD in building Never recomendj

It was not an issue. This despite the fact that I met with the former director in February to make sure I would be allowed back. In addition, my insurance company would pay for the rental of a bariatric bed. I believed that this was an excuse as there were issues with Carol the manager of nursing. I have left messages for the new director Mr. Soni Dignat and he has not bothered to even give me the courtesy of a return phone call.
