If I could leave, no stars, I would. I have been waiting for my physical therapy for 35 days now been calling leaving messages. No one calls me back so I finally bugged them enough and they answered their phone this morning because I did leave a message yesterday and I did leave one on Monday and they never returned my call so today when I spoke to Anna, she said oh let me find out and then she passed me to Ava who said oh your physical therapy ran out in December. Yeah well you never called me to schedule it for December so how could it run out? You never use the authorization you never called me. "Oh well we were understaffed" really that's your excuse understaffed wow I have never dealt with a company like this. This is my health. This is my use of my right arm, which is my dominant arm and they don't give two sh!ts about it. So now they have to start all over and get a new authorization for January which I don't understand. You should've called me in December so that I could be doing my physical therapy so that I can get back to work. I cannot believe this company this is the worst company I've ever dealt with well one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with, but this is my healthcare and this is my use of my right arm. I hope that 2026 they can get it together. read more

Called in the am as there was a Covid outbreak at my place of work I not only didn't want to make the other people at this office sick but I also had to cover other employees who where out sick .. this went on for a few weeks as Covid was going around like crazy a month ago . Today I received a bill even though they didn't answer there phone , admit they got my voicemail and keep insisting I had to call 24 hours prior .. it's a shame cause the dr seemed nice and I was planning to go back but the manager Jamie was rude , unkind , had no sympathy or care for her patients being exposed to Covid apparently and only cares about money .. I understand if I had not called but I am not rude and I it's not my fault they don't answer the phone during business hours .. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board as well as posting on all other review sights .. beware they don't care about exposing there patients to Covid.. I would rate less then one star if I could but that's not an option .. again the dr was nice I am sorry his support team is so bad they can't be kind or answer the phone read more

I think I hit the jackpot because I received excellent care from Luke who is was very knowledgeable and supportive during the long ordeal of getting back full ROM for my right shoulder. The entire MFL staff were friend and caring and work well as a team during Covid cleaning surfaces and equipment offering encouragement to all patients. I was so grateful for this office because the woman I care for is untrustworthy and wasn't so thrilled when I suggested to seek physical therapy services because of her bad health. She fainted twice and we didn't know what exactly was wrong with her. Some months ago, I was in so much foot pain that I bought a cane. I'm 63 and I thought that crippling foot pain would be a part of the rest of my life. After being diagnosed with neuropathy and put on medication my doctor also wanted me to go to PT. I began my treatment with Movement For Life last summer after having hip replacement surgery. Starting with my first phone call with Cece, I've been happy with every aspect of their services. Luke Gentry and all of the employees are very conscientious, knowledgeable, caring and thorough in their treatment. Just about the best experience that anyone can hope for! Started going for therapy about 1 month ago for a serious problem I have with my hand. My therapist is Julianna and she is top notch. She worked with me immediately and gave me exercises to do at home. Over the past few weeks, I can see (very slowly), there is improvement with my hand. It will take awhile for a 100% improvement, but I am much more optimistic than I was a few weeks back. It is abundantly apparent that the staff at Avid Physical Therapy enjoy their work very much and they do an excellent job. I can't say enough good things about AVID and the staff that work there. I've had therapy with AVID twice. I had and ankle replaced in 2015 and they worked with me for the 5-6 months it took for me to be able to walk correctly. I had a second ankle replaced with some complications and I am back with AVID to get me back in shape. I have a problem with my lower back as well and Luke incorporated that issue into my therapy program. I am starting to walk better now and I am learning to walk correctly again. The AVID staff work with you at all times so you are not left by yourself, ensuring that you are doing the moves the right way, correcting you when you need it. read more

I am a transfemoral (thigh-high) amputee with an arthritic lower back and shoulders. Luke Gentry and his physical therapy team at Avid Therapy helped me rid my left shoulder of arthritic pain and significantly improved my right shoulder and lower back pain by changing the way I use my muscle groups to do ordinary tasks. I have been to other physical therapy centers that did not give me the same level of service and expertise. A miracle! Truly! My surgeons were not certain even if, or to what extent, my catastrophically fractured shoulder would recover from a serious ski accident in December, 2019. Was finally cleared for PT just when the Covid lockdowns began and was hesitant to come to the clinic and begin. Yet I had successfully worked with Luke on several other orthopedic issues over the last few years and he made a strong factual case about my need for frequent manual therapy (a technique fewer and fewer PTs are willing to use). The power of his treatments, backed by research, combined with the kindness and encouragement of his entire crew kept my spirits positive and willingness to continue high enough to keep working for 15 months! We slowly kept adding back activities: first driving, then elliptical, then hiking with poles, then lap swimming, and now pilates and yoga. Could have easily been disabled for life. I don't usually write reviews, but wow -- I had such a fantastic PT experience here, I just had to write one! Zainab was my therapist and just absolutely wonderful. She is so unbelievably knowledgeable and kind, and she always pushed me hard enough to help me make great progress, yet not so hard that I wasn't able to succeed. I went from barely walking into this place with a cane, to, 12 sessions later, being able to walk a full mile without a cane (and even run 1/3 of a mile, too!). Yes, I definitely worked hard, but I assure you, there is absolutely no way I would have been able to progress the amount I did without Zainab and this Avid Physical Therapy. I was referred to Luke at Avid when I fell and broke my wrist. Being new to the area I did not know much about the surroundings. The time I spent at Avid was more than just a physical therapy house, it is full of people who actually care about you and what you are going through. For me, besides the staff that greets you and checks you in, it was for Doctor Zainab Kothari. I won the lottery when I got her to walk me through my journey from total knee replacement to being able to play my first game of golf. And she did it in 10 visits. She had a structured program that was designed to make my knee stronger and her knowledge was beyond impressive. I was scared when I first went in not knowing what was ahead of me, but, she took charge, eased my worries and helped me through all of it. I had a great experience at Avid PT. Arriving with very painful sciatica, I was greeted by the wonderful CeCe. She had a very positive and friendly demeanor as she checked me in, while also doing a covid pre-screen. The lobby chairs were clearly marked for covid distance seating but my wait was short as I was soon greeted by therapist Zainab Kothari. Dr. Kothari was extremely friendly and professional and led me to the exam area where she took her time to really listen to my issue, while also getting a history of what led me to my problem. I was in a bit of pain, but Dr. Zainab was very calming and knowledgeable as she confirmed she understood my issue and reassured me that it will get better. She explained in detail the exercises she prescribed (and worked through with me) while also making sure I was comfortable and in as little pain as possible. At home, I found most exercises were helpful and on my second appointment, she tweaked the protocol and I now I am doing so much better! I should add that when I had issues at home, Dr. Kothari was an email away, responding sometimes within minutes with ideas, insight and hope. I first want to say that Dr. Luke Gentry is a great therapist and a really good guy and his staff reflects those characteristics. I dealt with a strange pain issue for several years. I awoke just about every night, usually several times, with a sharp pain in the side of my right knee. I won't bore anyone with the details, but I found ways to manage the pain episodes. The mystery was that for most of the problem years, this issue did not affect my physical activities, including golf, jogging, or strength training including squats and deadlifts. Visits to an Orthopedic knee specialist, Sports doctor, MRI, X-rays, Cortisone injection. No change. However I began reducing weight on squats and stopped deadlifts, fearing I might be doing damage. My sports doctor suggested therapy and Avid and Luke was on his recommended list. On my first visit to Luke, he asked me if I knew my right leg was smaller than my left leg. I did not. After that first session, I measured and realized I had lost an inch and a quarter in my right thigh and almost 3/4 inch in my calf. I don't fully understand the workings between the nervous system and muscle, but clearly I was favoring my left leg and losing muscle in my right. After a few weekly sessions and following Luke's program, I began sleeping longer between pain episodes. It took about 16 weeks, but the episodes stopped. I continued working on strengthening the right side and, not only am I sleeping much better, I have regained the muscle lost and am approaching my old squat weight. Thank you, Luke! read more

This is no question the best therapy service I have received in the last few years. The staff is pleasant and attentive to making your experience pleasant and almost enjoyable while you work to strengthen and heal. The atmosphere is clean and upbeat. Tiffany makes exercises easy as you chat with her and don't realize that you are working. Luke Gentry truly knows how the body is to function and has a real desire to help you heal. He gives you hands on therapy and massage for a good portion of the visit. I made tremendously progress in the movement of my shoulder after surgery and I can say that Luke and his staff have so much to do with that improvement.
