Jamie came out on a rainy Sunday afternoon and quickly replaced the screen on my IPhone 6 since I needed it in working order before Monday morning. Unfortunately, I had the screen replaced by another company in Raleigh several months ago and their workmanship was not nearly as good. I guess you see the trend, I'm a little rough on my phone! Steve Faw is the Steve Jobs of North Wilkesboro iphone repair!! He is awesome, courteous, incredibly professional, and works out of his home. He is a family man and a wonderful Christian and human being. Twice he has helped iphone emergencies for my family: 1) a cracked iphone screen and 2) a phone with water damage. Great experience! I shattered the glass on my iPhone 5s while on vacation and searched for a certified tech. I submitted my issue thru iCracked's website for a quote and within 45 minutes I had heard from Jamie. He offered to come to me or meet me anywhere in the area that was convenient for me. He not only replaced my screen quickly and effectively, but he also cleaned out my charging port at no additional charge when I mentioned I was having issues getting my phone to charge. Now it works perfectly! Jamie was friendly, knowledgable, professional and affordable. Great experience and much better option than purchasing a replacement phone. I would not waste your time. I had set up an appointment and no one ever came or contacted me for my schedule. I contacted customer service. They apologized and set up an appointment for my phone repair the next day. Some associate contacted me to say he couldn't come and that he had a family emergency. Customer service contacted me again to say because I never confirmed an appointment, my repair was canceled. I replied and told them I still needed my phone fixed, requested a discount and told them I would make myself available. 5hours later I received another text that they will be canceling my appointment again because they don't have a technician in the area and actually referred me to yelp to find someone who can help repair my phone screen. read more

if I could leave zero stars I would. I had an appt at 2:30 my tech never showed up so I rescheduled for 5 and yet again no one showed up. I called the tech support number said they were sorry and that they were going to find someone to come and fix my phone and they would call me back that was an hour ago. Absolute worst service I have dealt with in a long time from ANY company! My wife broke her iPhone screen, it still worked just broken glass.We wanted it fixed and looked around, we chose iCracked because their 5 star reviews and their LIFETIME WARRANTY that is talked about all over the site. The tech (Mohammad Alam) came out and fixed her phone, everything seemed great till we tried to pay. He asked for cash which we didn't have. He fumbled around and then asked for pay pal (we thought was weird). He got paid, and left. Over the next couple days we realized the phone got very hot, like you didn't want to put it on your check hot, and the battery drained at least twice as fast. iCracked then contacted us saying our appointment was canceled. We contacted back saying no, it wasn't canceled and the guy who came out broke the phone. At this point the phone would not even connect to the network making it a very expensive brick. We went back and forth with them via email, explaining that their tech did indeed come out (i checked his badge when he came in and he was wearing their shirt) we explained the pay pal thing which they said was weird. We wanted to get our phone fixed but not by the same guy. A month goes by of going back and forth with them every couple days to find out that the original tech is the only one in the area who can fix it, but he has stopped responding to any communication from us (or his company from what we can gather, not sure of this though)... so no one can fix it. We demand to be compensated since we have a brick with a monthly bill thanks to this company with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. We are first told that they can do nothing because the appointment was canceled according to their system. Which is silly because at this point we have clearly established we did have service done by them TWICE (there was a second failed attempt to fix the phone early on). Then we are told that they can offer us a refund of the repair cost (no compensation for being out a phone over a month or any way to get a working phone) and the kicker is that the company wont even refund it, we have to get a hold of the tech and make him do it since he received the money via pay pal, essentially the company does nothing. After a couple more strongly worded emails with an opportunity to make it right, we are sent a refurbished phone from the company. Tonight, we tried to begin using that phone, and the refurbished phone does not work. It will attempt to download the IOS and updates, but will install nothing. It will either go to sleep while in a thinking state, and when it comes back it has started over or the phone straight crashes while attempting to install. Needless to say the refurbished phone is going back and we are sitting here 2 months after the original service with a brick that has 2 months of unused services charges paid, repair cost paid, a broken refurbished phone that has to go back, easily 10+ hours of communication with the company invested... and we still need to go buy a working phone I guess. It is my recommendation to avoid this company based on my experiences with them. This is not a slander post, I have emails to and from the company to corroborate my story as truthful. I setup an appointment online for an iphone screen repair at $99. The representative, Tevin Prescott, was scheduled to show up at 4pm. I waited until 445pm and called him. He hung up. I contacted the company and only got automated services which left me no recourse but to cancel the appointed at 530pm. I'm finished with this company. read more

Company is a joke. I've tried to use them twice in the past year. It takes them 4 hours to send a reply telling you someone will contact you in 8 hours. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. Received confirmation of said appointment via text and email. No problem. Shortly thereafter, I received a text from technician who offered to move appointment up and fix phone a few days earlier. I declined and stated that I wanted to keep the original appointment. I couple of days later received another text asking if I wanted to change appointment to an earlier date. I AGAIN declined and stated that I wanted to keep said date and time. No response. On the day of the appointment and hour after the technician was supposed to arrive, I texted the technician to confirm that he was still coming. The response was (as typed) "Unforentely I'm out of the country until Monday I can set you up then if you like with a repair." I responded No thanks after which I received an appointment cancellation text and email. I am very disappointed that I was not told ahead of time that the appointment was unavailable. I made other arrangement to get the repairs done at another establishment. read more
