Imagine a retail store charging scalper prices for hardware then turning off comments on posts, or deleting comments on posts where comments are left on, when people call them out for it on Instagram. I'll never do business with with this store again. What a shame. read more

These guys were able to help me out with EXACTLY what I needed. Needed 2 seperate cards, WIFI and a new Sound Card, and couldnt bring the computers in, so I took a picture of the card slots with my smartphone. He was able to look at this pic and tell that I needed PCI Express, which I wouldn't have ever known, still not sure what that is, but Everything is working excellent, I even had to call up there for a little help with the card installs and they didnt mind at all, stayed on the speakerphone for 10 minutes with me! Absolutely COULD NOT BELIEVE the service I received today. I've been shopping around for a new computer for over a week and was really discouraged because of a recent experience at Best Buy. I went in with a few simple questions and left scratching my head, full of buzzwords and terms that weren't warranted/explained to me. I figured I'd go in and give ATD a shot to see what they've got- best decision of my week. I walked out THRILLED with my purchase, a laptop and some speakers that were EXACTLY what I was looking for for about $200 less than I was expecting to pay. Salesman Doug listened to my situation and offered me fantastic solutions (as in, gave me a number of suitable options) and helped me make a decision that had been weighing on my mind for wayy too long. The people at Best Buy were much more interested in selling me the "latest, greatest" product around without really figuring out what was right for me and my skills/aptitude with computers, but Doug found a perfect fit for me and this review is one of the first things I'm doing with my new laptop! Excellent service, great, competitive prices and an overall fantastic experience. I will never step foot in a Best Buy for as long as I live, and as soon as my business needs to upgrade their computer system we are going to ATD first! Thank you Doug, for making a stressful decision for me very, very easy. 10 out of 10 would recommend. There aren't that many local computer repair shops anymore, ATD is the best that I have been to. My office is directly above ATD, and I send all of our agents to them when they have computer issues. They are fairly priced, and will offer a no cost solution if there is one. We have used them several times for our personal computer issues, as well as many many times for work related issues. My daughter's laptop screen cracked, and the guy at ATD offered a low cost fix that saved me a couple hundred $'s from what Best Buy told me. It's nice to shop local! read more

I am writing this because I have received TERRIBLE service @ the store on Monroe, Rd. Charlotte, NC. I brought my computer, Acer, into the service dept and asked that it be repaired and operational so I could begin to use it again. The power jack had 'issues' and so the computer does not power up. I paid the fee of $45 and left it there. When I called a week later, I was informed that the power jack was fixed and no additional fee was required. I drove 45 minutes to your store and was given my computer. When I got home, I was NOT able to power up the computer. The next morning I called and was informed that I need a new power inlet! I called this company ATD to get a price about 16gb memory for my macbook pro. (Not a lot to chose from as far as computer places in Charlotte area). I was told that they have it. I've done my research on line and with other businesses as to what prices were. They averaged out to about $70.00 for the pair of 8gb sticks. ATD gave me a price of $69.00 per stick then on top of that another $45.00 to install them. What a joke!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF AND ARE SCREWING PEOPLE WITH THEIR PRICING!!!!! To make a long story short I went to Best Buy who I have never really had good luck at their store and found my 16gb memory for $55.00 (both sticks)!!!!! and the guy put them in!!!!!! I will never step foot nor recommend ATD to anyone! in fact if they were the only computer store left I would do without my computer! Their prices are WAY too high and they are screwing the public knowing that they are forced to go there because there are not a lot of places to choose from!
