I used the website and was able to get a time slot for the next morning. I got a phone call from Frank the tech to learn a little more about the issue and make sure he had all the parts he needed. I thought this was a good bit of customer service. Frank was very prompt for the appt. very professional and polite. The screen and LCD replacement only took about 30 min to complete. Do be aware of the up sell and also things they don't tell you like frame damage needs to be repaired for a fee and it also negates any warranty they provide. read more

I had my phone repaired this morning, easy enough the tech showed up early and got it done. Convenient. Later in the day I'm carrying the phone in my pocket, as I always do, and I take the phone out and it's cracked again. I called the company and they claimed there's no warranty but they would be happy to replace it again...as I'm inspecting the phone closet to find that the screen isn't level with the home button as well. They clearly use sub-par quality screens and I would not recommend them. read more

Called iCracked to get the LCD/glass replaced on my iPhone. First of all, he might arrive an hour earlier than you request, and charge you a $10 "parking fee." He'll also claim that there is a "$50 cancellation fee" when in fact iCracked says there is NO obligation to get a repair. He used that to force me into a repair that in the end cost me twice as much as it would have been to take it to another shop. Then he has the gall to say "there's an automatic gratuity." He'll also make claims that other things need to be repaired and upsell that. I was too shocked to protest. When I called iCracked to complain, they said he'd give me a refund if he put the broken glass back on my phone. Then when I called him to tell him to do that, he claimed he didn't have the glass anymore and couldn't do it. What a SCAM. From the looks of these reviews he's told at least one other person there's a cancellation fee, for $45. I guess he felt brazen enough to up that imaginary fee by $5. He's a liar and a scammer. My daughter used this company this week to repair a shattered glass on her iPhone. $200 later and 2 days later phone not working - cant receive calls, can't do anything in the screen, can't turn phone off. Upon contacting iCracked she was told it was a frame issue and what she had done did not cover that. No offer to help her, no refund of any of the money!! Never in my life have I ever had a worse customer service experience. I am giving them 1 star simply because I have to. If I could give zero stars I would. I recently dropped my iPhone 5S into a little bit of water, and as a result, the loud speaker was not working properly. I was given the number for an iCracked tech on their website and I called him. We scheduled an appointment for him to come to my house at 2PM the next day, I was to text him my address in the morning. I send him my address in the am, but I did not get a response. I texted again at 1 to check that he received my first text with the address, no response. At 2:15 I called him and he answered. I said I just wanted to double check he got my text with the address and we are still on, he said he would be there but was very short on the phone. At 4:00 I called him again and he answered and apologized for not having been able to talk when I called him earlier, as he was dealing with a personal family crisis. He asked if we could reschedule to the next day, but I was unable to be home again the next day and needed my phone fixed that day. I said it would not be a problem, I would get it fixed somewhere else. He said, no no, that he would check his schedule and call me back in two minutes. At 5:15, after not having heard back from him, and having texted him without response, I got in my car to head down to an iPhone repair store on South Street, which closed at 6, so I wanted to get there in time. On the way, I called the iCracked technician, but he did not answer. I could tell, however, that he was on the other line. I arrived at the other store about 20 minutes later, and before going in, I gave him a call one more time just in case. He answered, said he had tried to call me back but it didn't go through. He asked if he could come at 9 to my house. I said no, I had to be up in Bucks County for something that night, but again, not a big deal, I can get it fixed somewhere else. He asked where in Bucks County, I told him, and then he suggested we meet in Willow Grove, which is off the Turnpike. I said fine, and we agreed to meet at a Dunkin Donuts at 9. At this point, I was truly starting to get frustrated, but figured that even though it was inconvenient, getting my phone fixed that night would still be better than dropping it off at the repair store and having to wait till the next day. I tell him that I am only 15 minutes away from where we are going to meet, so if we can meet earlier, let me know. He says he will call me when he is on his way. I arrive at 9 (having never heard from him saying he is on his way) and call him, again no answer, though I can again tell he is on the other line. I call again at 9:15, no answer. I call again at 9:25, no answer, but I can tell he is on the other line. I immediately call back, still nothing. So I text him and say that I assume from the fact that it is almost 9:30 and he is not answering my calls that is not going to make it. I start to drive away and get a few minutes down the road when he texts me that he is driving and on his way, his GPS says it will be 20 minutes, that he is on the phone and cannot talk, sorry. At this point, I am so annoyed and frustrated, I seriously considered just going home, not responding and letting him show up to find me gone. But I really wanted my phone fixed and figured I was already there and I had already invested over 7 1/2 hours of waiting at this point, what was another 20 minutes? At 9:56 I texted him again to ask if he was close. I never heard from him. Not a call saying I am sorry for being late, or a follow up the next day to explain what happened, nothing. Having given him my address, I legitimately was concerned I was going to arrive home to find my home broken into. If it wasn't for the fact that I never gave him a credit card number or any other form of payment I would have thought it was a scam. At the very least, I do not believe that the tech ever intended to meet me to fix my phone. As I said at the beginning of this review, I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I cannot speak to whether this is indicative of this company as a whole, or as to any of the other techs, but I would be cautious when contacting them for service. read more

Frank was courteous prompt and friendly. I was quoted 79.99 for my repair. I was aware there may be extra costs. When all was said and done it cost me nearly double and I was told my frame on the phone was bent and had to be repaired therefore making it not under warranty, which I thought was ridiculous. On top of that he added a $18.75 tip for himself after I bought him a coffee at Starbucks where he performed my repair. Being in the customer service industry I had all intentions of tipping him, but I think that should be left to the consumer not just expected. read more

Can't say enough positive things about what a great service this is, and what a great technician Scott is. I dropped my phone and cracked it on the way to the airport to fly back to the airport. I made an appointment, but then had to update Scott a few times because of weather delays. He was able to accommodate and was able to fix my iPhone screen that night. He came to my home and cranked out the repair in about 45 minutes while I went about my business doing things around the house. Extremely pleasant and nice guy, great quality work(the screen and digitizer feels better, doesn't have that "sink" feeling) at a very fair price(IMO). Def recommend Scott to my friends and family. This service is a big scam and a joke. Their "warranty" is misleading, the tech I received gave me a quote and added stupid additional charges to up the price such as "glass clean up".... If you are replacing a screen there is going to be some glass clean up! Also, my replaced screen lasted me THREE WEEKS after spending close to $130 I should have just bought a new phone. I have not dropped or damaged the screen since his repair - the screen simply just does not light up anymore. Tech will not answer me and obviously does not care as long as he got paid. Might as well go straight to apple to get your phone fixed - customer service is not helpful what so ever either. read more

I cracked my phone on Wednesday and got it fixed on a Friday. The technician repaired my screen, and sold me an additional 50 dollars worth of protection. During the repair he let me know that my frame was bent and damaged and if I didn't repair that for an extra cost, then I could have problems with my screen later on. I wasn't looking to spend more than I had to so I skipped that part. My phone worked perfectly fine all weekend and by Wednesday I could not do anything regarding the screen. My phone still worked, because I was able to use Siri to text and call, but I was not able to touch my screen and use any apps, email, or music. I am a dance teacher and use my phone for work, so I was immediately inconvenienced. I called iCracked that night looking to get some help and they put me through a 48 hour process, finally ending in telling me that they could not help me because it was a frame issue and they were not responsible for it, they told me I was essentially going to have to eat the money I spent with them and go get my Phone fixed somewhere else. Disappointed, I took it to the apple store the next day where it got fixed immediately, for free, and then I was told that my phone was not bent at all and the frame was fine. I called Scott, my local iCracked specialist and he offered to meet me at my home or a place of my choosing. This was a huge plus right off the bat. He came and showed up on time. He replaced the iphone 4s screen on my phone and did a great job. Well putting the phone back together however he broke the antenna. At this point I though he would tell me there is nothing he could do and leave. To my surprise me and him went to the AT&T store and he replaced my phone at no additional cost to me and even bought me a new charger. He admitted that he has made very few mistakes in his line of work but has made some in the past. Even though the repair did not go as planned, him replacing the phone in my book is the pinnacle of great customer service and I would recommend him to any one I know cause I know no matter what they will be taken good care of. I was happy to use this service due to their courteous and speedy responses over the phone. They quoted me a price over the phone but when the tech came to fix the phone, he added other charges for fixing the corners of my phone since they were "dented". This phone had no obvious dents and after removing my apple screen, the tech stated that if i wanted it back, i would have to pay him for it. For. My. Own. Screen. Also, the tech got upset and actually raised his voice at me for asking for change back since he said he had clearly stated over the phone that he carried no change. I am so upset with iCracked and do not recommend that anyone ever use them. It is better to go to apple and pay the same price i was charged. Another thing is that the tech stated the warranty will not cover my phone since he had to re-shape the corners of my phone so i will have to shell out another $100+ to replace my phone screen should anything ever happen to it. I scheduled a home repair for my Iphone 6S this morning for 10 am. I got a text confirmation and an email confirming my appointment and providing me with the name of my technician and his contact information. I was impressed. But then 10 am came and went and at 10:15 am I called the tech to see what was the reason for the delay and I got an automated message. I tried several times to reach out to him but to no avail. I then tried calling the I Cracked support desk. Again, I got a generic message and even though I punched in 1 for tech support with respect to a repair could not connect with a live person. I waited all morning and a COMPLETE NO SHOW. I then got a text at 1 pm or so from a guy from I Cracked HQ who advised me that Richard the tech had cataract surgery and that is the reason for the no show. No apology. No offer to discount the repair or provide me with a credit of some type for the mixup and extend some customer good will to make things right. Just a willingness to reschedule the appointment. Are they kidding me? Why would I give them a second chance to NO SHOW me again? Why would I give them a second chance to waste my time again? NO WAY NO HOW!!! read more
