Horrible they didn't fix anything and when failed to fix something they would only offer back partial refunds which is unacceptable when they're unable to resolve my issue they should at least given me back full refund not partial. If I were to rate this place zero or negative stars I would. I would never be coming back to this shop ever again it's misleading and It's not worth the money to fix things here at all. It's complete misleading when they mention they're five stars business but the reality is that their service is not what expected. This is a complicated review as I had both a mediocre and great experience at Phone Repair Philly. I will first mention that if you have an older android, you have to call ahead to see if they have any of the replacement screens. When I first got there, they sold out of my part just 10 minutes into department opening, and I had to go to the University City location, where they ended up giving me a defective screen, and I had to return to the Center City location, where the store clerk showed up 10 minutes later than opening. I tried to give them additional business by giving them my other phone to fix, and it turned out that they broke my android's screen in the process. All of this would have devastated the review if it weren't for my last and third visit, where I showed up 5 minutes before store closure and the new clerk was incredibly kind, not-angry, and fixed my phone. While the end justified the means, I would recommend calling really ahead of time before you bring your phone over for fixing. Results may wry, and consider getting the warranty. read more

I called them for an issue for a phone model (Huawei) that is quite uncommon. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and precise in diagnosis and pricing (which was very reasonable). He was kind enough to ask for my model # and look it up to see if the screen that needed to be replaced was available and when it would arrive. After I got home and reviewed the detailed receipt - I was charged for a premium plan (dont even know what that means). Easy to make an appointment. Convenient location. I had a cracked iPhone screen that was still functional. Paid for the expensive screen fix because I thought the quality would be better. The screen broke within the week. This time when it broke, it did not function. Their claimed warranty didn't cover this. I had to pay again. Honestly go to Apple. Your phone will be warrantied. Originally came here Sunday to get my screen on my iPhone XS Max replaced. It only took 20 minutes and it was done! While there was a little issue with my phone afterwards, they promised to take care of the issue of it continues the next day (if it doesn't resolve overnight). Well, they definitely helped me out and gave me no trouble at all! Great customer service and my phone is as good as new. Very glad I chose this place!! Connor was my technician and he was very polite, professional and responsive. Treat this guy well, as he does things to your phone with perfection, in which you would probably ravage and destroy. You should probably give this man a tip for caring for your $1000+ phone, as I imagine most don't and simply pay the fee and go on their way. He does his job well and you should treat him with just as much in gratuity. P.S. my phone may have been cracked before coming in but I'm pretty sure this screen is nicer than the one I previously had when purchasing the phone through Apple themselves. Easy and quick scheduling. Took longer than it should due to me telling them wrong generation of my iPad. But They immediately called me and informed me of the issue and the wait for them to order the right screen which was next day. Hopefully I don't have to come back. At a later date. 1/4/18 So unfortunately I did have to come back no problem from me. Seems like they put the wrong screen on my iPad because the issue the tech explained to me would happened with the wrong screen happened. When informing the techs of my issues, they kept referring to me as "the lady that keep coming back" which was extremely unprofessional and alarming. Which made the matter worst is the screen protector I purchased from amazon, which was not cheap, was not replaced which it should have been because this was obviously an issue on their part. So now they came up more money for me losing out on that. Guessed I just had too high of an expectation for them. Pros: quick, fast, same day service. Cons: quick, fast service. Spent $150 to get XS max screen replaced from what was a small screen crack. I was thrilled to get in and out within 20 minutes. Upon returning home - my screen would no longer turn on. Had to go the entire next work day with a non functional phone. Brought it back 24 hours later and was told the cheaper screen I initially purchased was a higher risk for having these type of issues. The screen was replaced and my phone is back to working again. I wish there was more functional testing that was done prior to giving phone back. To have a non functional phone for almost 24 hours is disruptive and I felt it was not appreciated by the technician on my follow up visit. No discount, no credit. read more

He offered to fix for the price I had asked for so i certainly appreciate that he was willing to keep his customers happy. My 2 previous times using this business went very well. Review on 9/8 - I qualify the review by saying that i have done business here 2 other times before yesterday and they went smoothly. Went in here yesterday after calling and the guy told me to just walk in - i waited 45 minutes for the guy and waited and eventually popped up and said he had a meeting which is why he decided to not notify people waiting, even though he said to just come in. Asked for a slight discount since i was there 2 other times earlier in the month and due to the fact that i had waited nearly an hour for him with no notifications. It was an old iphone 5 repair and claimed he would only make a "$5 profit" when i asked for a $10 discount (which is not beleiveable in the least). My appointment was at 12pm, which I easily booked online the day before. Unfortunately, the technician was late and arrived almost an hour later. However, the phone repair itself was fast and I was able to get a $20 discount as compensation for waiting almost an hour after my intended appointment. I would recommend going to the University City location as they seemed to be more responsive and professional. I had called the UC number after failing to get a response from the Center City number to see if they could fix my phone screen for me and they had picked up immediately. Since they got the job done quite quickly, I believe my experience warrants this rather generous 4-star review. At first I was pleased with the service I got. My Apple Watch stopped charging and they were able to fix it relatively quickly. The customer service was standard. A few weeks later the face of the watch started separating from the base. I responded to one of the many "hey how was your repair?" emails they send explaining the issue. The response was "can you just glue it back on?" My response was that I probably could, but I didn't have an issue with the face before I brought it in for repair. No response. I took my watch to Phone Repair Philly because I try to support local businesses. But I should have just taken my watch to Apple because they quoted the same price and I'm sure they would have fixed it properly. Now I have a basically useless watch. Thanks guys. read more
