Terrible service, spent over 2500 on a rental that didn't work, was extremely filthy, moldy coffee pot, no working a/c, carpet and sofas had to be covered with sheets as I wouldn't let an animal step or sit on there let alone my kids. The service was awful, spent the entire trip trying to trouble shoot, lost our food twice as the fridge didn't work properly, rode 8 hours each way with no a/c two toddlers, two teenagers and my husband and myself. They wouldn't give us paperwork when we left, and I've waited a month to hear back and Sydne emails me to say there is no issue with the RV, that the condition is good just a little work but clean(will post picture of just the flooor and it's filth - which until you pulled the pop-out out you couldn't see the degree of filth), and here is nothing they can do. It was a nightmare trip and the owner was supposed to call us back and every time you try to call them he's "/"away for work and his cell isn't working right now" promise to call you back...it's fraud and I promise you - look at the other reviews (wish I did) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THS HORRIBLE BUSINESS. NEVER rent from these folks. A) Advertised a "luxury" RV at $255 a night. First - it was a FedEx van with carpet nailed to the wall. NO Air Conditioning. Wasp nests in the shade. Fridge that was so small a Motel 6 fridge would be better. 80 decibels of noise during drive times as the screens and windows were basically screwed in. B) Jacked price to $455 with no notice. C) Said oh yeah we will work this out when we got back and did NOT. Kitchen set? Well you have to decide between a coffee maker or breakfast as the coffee maker has to sit on the rickety cooktop to reach a plug. No fry pan. No salt, pepper or even a dish towel. Cleaning fee? It was filthy. Linen set? Sheets that didn't fit bed and a quilt with a stain that looked like something from the "blue goo" they use for the head. And speaking of the head - how about putting sharp edges on the floor in tight spaces for maximum injury. Want pictures? I have plenty. This is greed plain and simple. What a rip off! read more

Do not do business with this company. They first pulled a bait and switch, then kept us waiting 6 hours for our rental. After having it for a day we found the toilet didn't operate (i.e. clear) properly, the toilet being the whole reason for the rental in the first place. When I returned it a week later there was was no sympathy for the fact that I spent half of our vacation trying to get the toilet to work on ways too graphic to write about here. My family and I were first-time renters with Squatch RV. We rented an RV for one week so that we could visit family as well as a couple of national parks. The first issue that threw me a bit was the fact that they weren't open on the weekends. Don't most people start their vacations on the weekend? Ultimately, this ended up being okay because they had the RV ready fairly early on Monday morning. We picked it up and were on our way. Things seemed fine until we were a day or two into our trip. We all woke with these welts on our bodies. It would be natural to think that these were from mosquitoes, but they didn't look like mosquito bites. They were little red welts with an open area in the middle. We were perplexed at first but after doing a little research, we were left to conclude that they were bedbug bites. These were likely in all of the upholstery in the RV. Strike number two came when we were on our way home. On a busy section of I90 headed westbound, right before Snoqualmie pass, one of our tires blew out. It was on a weekend. When we called to request service from Squatch, there was no answer. I now see another reviewer who had the same problem. Cars and RVs don't just need fixing on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, so it was frustrating not to be able to get help. We ended up getting in touch with a tire tech in Cle Elum and he drove out to our milepost and changed the tire. While he was helping us, he mentioned that nearly ALL of the tires on the RV were in need of changing. The word he used was "bald" and indicated that the RV was not safe to drive. I will acknowledge that we should have looked more closely at the RV at time of rental, but I will also be the first to admit that I would not know what to look for in a tire. Maybe my husband would, but ultimately, isn't this the responsibility of Squatch? That they could send a family of four out in an RV that was potentially very unsafe to drive upset me greatly. I could get over the bedbug issue because from what I've heard, bedbugs can't hurt you (only cause oozing welts) but we could have had a serious mishap on the road because of the old tires. Upon our return, I contacted Squatch to share my frustration, but it's been a week, and I have not had any response. Sydne, the woman in the front office is very responsive, but I think her hands are tied as she is unable to do anything to improve our experience without some action from her management. read more

Had a new roof put on our 5th wheel trailer. The new roof looks horrible! Nails coming through membrane. Took it back, said they'd fix it. Nope made a bigger mess. Ripples and bubbles all over and glue spots everywhere. Both times had trailer for a month. So far I can say no leaking, but worried! DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. This is the most unethical fraudulent place. Randall the owner cannot be trusted. We had our RV on rental consignment and it was not Mai rained. Renters damaged it, we were never notified when it happened, shady work was completed trying to cover it up... the list goes on. And he still owes us money from past rental a year ago. Had we not made a surprise trip to check on our rig this would have continued to happen. Absolutely disgusting the way this place is run. Never do business her, you'll regret it!!! read more

Not recommend. Took our RV in for a new air conditioner. Got to Sacramento in 107 degree weather and it doesn't work. Blows air, just not cold. NO ONE returned out phone calls over two days, and still hasn't a month later. Spoke to multiple employees who said they would have someone call, but crickets. Found out from a repair place down there that it was NOT wired correctly. So not customer oriented nor competent in their jobs. Bad news. read more

Only giving 1 star because required... they deserve 0... The first thing everyone needs to know going in is that almost every transaction at Squatch RV is based on the old "bait and switch." Whatever vehicle/ unit it is that you think you're reserving... I'll tell you right now that it's only a picture and a pipe dream. Once you make the unfortunate mistake of renting from Squatch... you've really only set out on a path of eventual disappointment. But you did it anyway... and today's the day to go pick up your vehicle/ unit. So you head over to Squatch, arrive on site for pick-up, and you first link up with Sydne, who first comes off as super nice and friendly, but eventually you realize that she's a fraud and just another POS in on the racket. After some chit chat, she'll walk you out to the lot for your "vehicle inspection." All appears to be fine at first, but then you climb on board and start to tinker with even the most basic features of the vehicle/ unit (tv, radio, ac, fridge, drop-down bed, to name a few) you realize that nothing works properly, or even at all. Then Sydne grab some maintenance guy comes on and says everything worked just fine yesterday... let me have a look and I'll fix everything, but of course he can't. So now you're on a deadline to head out to wherever it is that you're going, and then Sydne basically tells you to take it or leave it... so you take it because you have to, you have no other choice at this point. You make a stink and then Sydne promises that the owner will make it right upon return, and refund you a portion of the money spent for the inconvenience. Of course that never happens because upon return the owners not on site... and at that point, once you leave, they screen calls, don't pick up the phone, and never call you back. Why, because you're dealing with the lowest of the low... scum of the earth. So go at it at your own risk... but mark my words, you WILL be disappointed. read more

I am a first time renter from Squatch RV, just got back from my trip, had a issue with the toilet the first day I took it out, and called the hot line for help, no answer. But I found someone who fixed my toilet at the RV camp site for $100. I got back told them what was going on and my frustration of getting a no call back from the hot line. They apologized and gave me 2 free nights, plus some money back for the complication. IF anyone wants to rent a RV for a trip. I would recommend them. Not because of the free nights nor the money. The gentleman I spoke with, and who helped cleared things up was very helpful and very understanding. His customer service to me was a worth this 5 star rating. I came in angry, walked out happy. Because of him, they got also a great tech team to walk to through the RV. Any questions and all questions were answered. Happy camper. My family and I will be back. read more

RENTERS BEWARE...made arrangements with Squatch RV last fall to rent an RV for a mini trip; paid $1556 of which $564 was non refundable per contract. After falling seriously ill had to cancel 10 days in advance. Company refused to return any of our payment. Not only were we out all the money, but were given the royal run around by the Squatch RV staff. Have worked with many RV/van rental operations; this was the WORST experience! read more
