What really stayed with us, though, was not just the stop, but Buck and Herschel. They were always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on taking care of people. We come from a ski racing background back East, so we have always been particular about fit and performance. You feel it immediately when something is off, and you remember the people who get it right. It has been really rewarding to watch them build Olympic Bootworks over the years and develop things like the Heel-N-Loc footbed. It simply works. You feel more secure, more comfortable, and it has made a noticeable difference not only on the mountain but even in my son's soccer cleats. That level of consistency over this many years is rare. If you want your feet properly supported and your gear dialed in, Buck, Herschel, and the team are the people to see. For me, this place is more than a shop.
