After all, there's not too many places out there that sell fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants, kielbasa dogs, clam rolls, and a full menu of ice cream in all of its glorious frozen variations and permutations. The grounds are eye-strikingly beautiful with flowering flats and hanging baskets everywhere you look. To the far right of the main building is a small produce store with zucchini, watermelon, onions, potatoes, scallions, beans, lettuce, radishes, and more. But the left side of that building was the primary reason we visited Fini's, because that's where the ice cream action is! Cones, shakes, sundaes, banana splits are yours to enjoy at a reasonable price and a pretty generous portion. It's always an adventure when you order a Kids sized cone, because some are scaled to an itty-bitty Lilliputian-sized portion, and some are supersized. Their $4.50 Kid cone was on a regular sized Sugar Cone and sure looked to me like more than two scoops. Our cone selections were Strawberry Cheesecake and Almond Joy. Fini's ice cream was very good- great flavor that was smooth and creamy, without a trace of ice particles. What a cool place to visit! read more

I'm concerned that when we had ice cream, that I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea during the night, and even this morning. It was pistachio ice cream, but my friend also had an upset stomach with the strawberry ice cream. Is your stock old? The fresh veggies are wonderful and nicely priced. I just can't take another chance on eating the ice cream. read more

The food and ice cream are good. This is not an issue with the food. The issue is with customer service. We had a party of 9 with us to enjoy a picnic together. Whoever the grumpy old woman is that took our order was extremely rude. After ordering the 4th burger she said, "Oh boy!" After the 6th she said, "What are we catering now?! How many more are there?" THEN while she started preparing the food from the back she says, "We don't take credit cards! Do you have cash?!" Her behavior is totally inappropriate on all counts. I would have told her to cancel the order at the moment and walked away had it not been for the fact we like what they offer, especially when we're purposeful about supporting small local business and especially when business is slower for them during the pandemic. Let me start by saying I have gladly purchased many vegetables and other items from Fini's in the past and sadly, after today's experience, will no longer. I am a firm believer in supporting local small businesses so it really pains me to make this decision. Yesterday, Wednesday, I went in there to see whether they had zucchini. They didn't. I always bought zucchini there because it was reasonably priced and very good. I was going to ask if they were getting any more but they seemed busy so I didn't. Today, Thursday, I went in again thinking maybe today they'll have some. Nope. Okay. Fair enough. I accepted that they were out of season. I went across the road the the convenience store to buy something and upon my exit was confronted by an older lady in the parking lot. She questioned me in a very rude and demanding tone why I had gone in there two days in a row and didn't buy anything. I explained to her why and she snarled back "there out of season!!". With no apology or explanation why she accosted me, she turned around and walked back over to her farm stand. Disgusting customer service!! Shame on you, madam! Update: This afternoon (Friday) I got off the bus in front of Fini's and the same woman gestured for me to come over. She apologized for offending me and she explained herself and why she felt the way she did. I gladly accepted her apology and we had a lovely conversation. Thank you, Diane for doing the right thing. A popular roadside drive up restaurant restaurant that is seasonal and closes from October until Spring they also sell vegetables at an attached farmstand. They serve real homemade hamburgers and hotdogs, sourced with local ingredients. The tomatoes are plump and meaty and fresh off of Fini's farm. French fries are quite popular with the locals and the potatoes are grown in Hatfield, Mass. they have many flavors of ice cream which you can get in a shake or Sunday or even a banana split. We had cheeseburgers and a large order of fries and I had a milkshake and my friend had a small ice cream cone. And we liked every bit of it. Burgers are good. Bananas splits are awesome! The help is super crabby most of the time. Makes you wonder why people who HATE people are worker there! I mean seriously, if you fly to work with the broom handle up you keester instead of riding it properly, swap your broom for a car...you'll be in a better mood! I'll still go back for the burgers and ice cream ( from time to time) though....crabby farts not withstanding! read more

While their prices are great and it looks pretty clean keys talk about the customer service skills...It's cash only so the cashier pointed out there's an atm across the street. So we leave our purchases head across the street to the atm get charged 2$ from the atm 3 from my bank for using a atm that's not my bank..no big deal my son was smiling...get back literally not even 5 minutes later she says sorry guys i put your stuff back already... Love Fini's corn and I am a self described corn snob, just ask my friends, I go out of my way for their corn. Also once fresh tomatoes are in, have to have a cheeseburger special as the local fresh tomatoes makes it spectacular. Great homeade fries, and ice cream. Go for the cheeseburger special, fries and a milkshake and sit a picnic table in the shade for a summer time lunch. Note cash only but inexpensive so worth it!
