Found in the marina, it's touristy, prices more on par with tourist prices (but still cheap) with an impressive selection of seafood. They were able to accommodate a group 10 people immediately, and upon being sat, offered us a warm seafood soup and ceviche shooters as soon as we were sat. I wish this happened at restaurants at home. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant also had a few TV's for watching sports ball. Most of us were craving tacos, but as soon as we looked at the large menu, many of us got other foods. Me, I stuck with tacos, the Pulpo (octopus) and they were delicious. Oily, warm corn tortillas with nice chunks of braised octopus. Tasty, and just the right size. Another ordered the whole fried fish and he said it was as good as I thought it looked. I'm going to beeline it here next time, as the other reports of good food in Ixtapa are a little unreliable here haha

We started with margaritas on the rocks no salt. We did not get the tourist pour for sure. Halfway through we were both tripping the light fantastic. We both enjoyed their chips and dipping sauces as we waited for our entrees. Hats off to our server who when asked if he recommended the ceviche a quick negative nod steered us away. I ordered el pastor tacos with seasoned mahi mahi fish. I was on the fence about this dish but man was it good. Nothing like fresh fish and homemade tortillas! Plus one ordered beef enchiladas and she exclaimed these were the best she ever had. I tried them and they did have a little spice to them but they were darn good. For dessert we asked for a smooth sipping tequila (don't judge we were on beach time) and a beer to split. This reasonably priced local resposado was as smooth as a baby's behind. Service was attentive throughout and we had a great conversation with our server regarding the town. What a nice way to while away an afternoon on their patio.

My wife had the sunset shrimp which were done " Al punto". I had the seared ahi tuna steak in garlic which was truly excellent. Drinks were well made and tasty without overdoing them. For dessert we had the lemon pie, which is one of the best I have had. We were taken care by his young son Julian.
