Back at Any's. Not too busy (mainly as tourist seasis not in full swing yet) service was great. Had the garlic prawns, beef tacos and guacamole. All delicious. The beef was lean and nicely done. Prawns were ultra tasty. Overall great experience.

Fun interior design was brightest colors. Easy to find it. Friendly service. Food we tried was delicious: chicken mole, soup, guacamole, freshly squeezed orange juice.

This was recommended by a local. Definitely a locals place. It did not disappoint. We went for the tamales, but they were already sold out. Go early if you want tamales. Settled for tacos and they were delicious. Owners were super friendly, we learned all the history of the place. Cute decor, fun atmosphere.

Nice corner location where you can people watch. It has all the Mexican menu options you would like. My guess is this is the goal. Also all the wait staff speaks very good English. Prices are very reasonable too. Is it the best? NO. Is it the worst? NO. It's a solid restaurant that serves good food. Worth going too for sure.

This place is a family favorite. We go to Zihuatanejo about every year and always make sure to visit Any's. The tortilla soup is a family favorite and I also ordered the chicken leg with a red mole. A little on the sweeter side, but the sauce is smoky, earthy, warm, and delicious! I also highly recommend the posole. Food wise, Any's is amazing and we just can't get enough! I recommend showing up earlier (before 7ish) to get a table. We had a group of ten and it took over an hour to get a table, which was totally fine since we just went to the bar right across the street to wait. I also recommend going early if you do not speak Spanish, since it is difficult to flag a waiter and put your name on the list, especially when people are swarming the entrance and lining up during busy hours. This place is a local favorite and you cannot go wrong... good service, vibrant environment, and wonderful dishes.

Good Mexican posole. Tasty guac. Delish tamales. Interesting corn I've cream!Downtown Zihuatanejo. Enjoyed the food! Just know right now you do need a mask to get in, you can take it off at the table :).

Hubby and I have been to Ixtapa a few times. Decided to try something different. Let me tell you u, if you ask a local where they like to eat, you can't go wrong. Trust me on that. And this is how we found this plate . As soon as we walked up, we were kindly greeted. Don't be discouraged by the small hole in the wall Place this establishments appears as. Go in. Limited seating. But does not get crazy busy. Small kitchen, but full bar. Big plus, our super kind waitress spoke English and Spanish. Which was very helpful when it came to the menu. Our appetizers came out rather quickly and hot. Perfect. Our drinks did not come out as fast. But, our bartender was the only bartender making all the drinks and he took his time making each drink. Our drinks were delicious. Perfect. As far as the food, our meals came out hot, had wonderful presentation, and the food tasted absolutely amazing! Omg. So damn good. So much flavor in every single bite. And let me tell you, serving sizes are rather large. You will not go hungry here. And when it comes to pricing. Reasonably priced as well. Definitely affordable. So would I eat here again? Absolutely. A little saddened this place is not already racking up Reviews on Yelp. Definitely deserved.

It was very hot while we dined and there was no breeze. A fan would have been wonderful! The bad: You choose 2 or 3 courses for $1300 or $1500MXN. At this price, you expect really exceptional food. This just wasn't the case for us. I ordered the steak, which came with a green sauce and potatoes. The potatoes were delicious. The filet was more like a sirloin but was more tough than a sirloin. It was very disappointing, but more than that, when the server asked how everything was, he seemed as if he already knew the steak was tough. I ended up getting the coconut shrimp (4) instead. They were served on a bed of cooked and spiced apples along with a salad rolled up in thinly sliced jicama similar to a sushi roll. The second course I ordered was dessert. The pictures don't do the presentation justice because it is so dark, but the food is beautiful. Paying this much for coconut shrimp and dessert (basically a molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream) really left me feeling very disappointed. Would not recommend nor return.

Since we are celebrating 30 year anniversary, we wanted something special. Located on the Promenade near the fishing boats. It was authentic, and service was friendly and prompt. Our starter was Guacamole with thinly sliced and fried plantains, with crumbles Mexican cheese on top. A green spicy salsa, and one that I thought was sundried tomatoes but was charred plantain and chilis, which was sweet and amazing. It was delicious. Another appetizer was tuna (catch of the day) tartar. Fantastic. The main dish was catch of the day. Mine was charred Red Snapper with chili's and corn garnish. It was so good, I even ate some of the skin. The fish was cooked perfectly, moist, melted in your mouth. My husband had Seared Tuna, he said was the best ever. We are foodies from San Francisco, California and felt this dish would be in the Michelin Star category. We forgot to take pictures of the food, but now that the book is finished.
