I was pretty disappointed. We went by in the morning when many people were there eating breakfast and thought it must be good. Went back for lunch and the wait staff was so so. Placed our order and waited a while. They eventually brought the ceviche we ordered but quickly took it back and gave it to another table. Then after a few more minutes they brought our food. I ordered the chicken tacos (tacos de pollo) but they brought out dry chicken flautas. When I mentioned the error, the server just looked at me and shrugged before walking away. Another dish was the queso fundido which is cheese melted with chorizo. That was not even cooked correctly. Much of the cheese was still unmelted and in shreds and the chorizo had little if any flavor. The ceviche was so so and the seafood soup was quite bland. Combined with the mediocre service, it was quite disappointing. Even the margaritas weren't very good. One bright note, the chips were pretty good. Save yourself the time and visit another restaurant. This one was pretty bad.

Highly recommend this restaurant, the service was great warm and kind. We recommend camarones gabardina and pechuga al vino tinto honestly the best chicken I've ever had so yummy. If you go to Ixtapa you must visit this restaurant

Fantastic meal and drinks. Highly recommended. I had the guac and chips. Really good deal for 80 pesos. Ceviche. Which was fresh and only for 130 pesos. And the 7 seas fajita which is a combo of mahi mahi, shrimp and octopus. It was delicious. Prices are average but the food and service is over the top. Must have a meal if you are in Ixtapa. And to top it, you have music blasted by the neighboring senior frogs.

I love seafood but after a few days of eating seafood I needed a big piece of beef. So I ordered the rib eye medium rare. It was cooked to perfection. It was served with potatoes with onions and rice. I skipped the rice but the potatoes were great.

Went there with a big group, service was slow, food was cold. Might have been better if not for the big group. Will try again.

This seemed to be the case for all the wait staff and no doubt it is because Javier leads by example.

The dishes are Mexican and delicious. We enjoy sitting outside, as it is a walking only road with plants and small trees. The owner, Lionel, will make you feel special. In my opinion, the octopus carpaccio is itself worth the visit!

We…read moreordered guacamole and chips with beer and margarita as soon as we sat down, and then looked at menu. (Upon ordering, we learned they were out of the special they said was tuna, which was disappointing. But that's to be expected. It was fairly late- only a couple tables filled when we arrived. It took forever - plus asking to get the guacamole. (I actually saw the waiter coming towards us and suddenly remember!) It was yummy but a small portion. It took over half an hour after guac arrived (timed) after they had finally brought our food. So close to an hour for the entree. My grilled dorado was quite good. The chicken fajita was quite ordinary, not bad, but not great. The herbed butter they brought with bread was very good!! Meal was fine. But as we felt ignored (and were very hungry), and the wait made the dinner not so enjoyable. Atmosphere was pleasant. We sat outdoors in the "street". Waiter had "offered" table against building on sidewalk but took one in the street thinking it would be breezier. (Wasn't thrilled to eat with the vendors/kids and a beggar stopping by each table. The guitar player who stopped by was very good so there's a plus!) PS I think this sounds whiny. We've just had such spectacular meals at little places, between the positive reviews and other experiences, this was disappointing. It's prob a 3.5 but wouldn't be a place I'd go again.
