However, the process of obtaining a quote was indeed as easy as Zen Windows website makes it out to be; check out their website and watch the videos. I completed their form with the number of windows, approximate size and the requirement that the windows must meet a minimum efficiency. A reply was quick and thorough and above all easily understood and answers to questions were immediate. Dennis provided all the information needed should a permit have been required. Once accepted, Kevin came out within a few days to take specific measurements needed for ordering the windows. Within just over a month, we received a call asking if the installation could take place within 48 hours as they had an opening. Ed, Jimmy and Daryl were the installation crew who arrived promptly and you could not ask for a more conscientious and professional team. They seemed to get along and worked well with each other. Care was taken to protect floors and carpet, the installation and operation of the windows was explained, and clean up was meticulous. I had planned to shampoo my carpets after they were finished and Daryl did such a good job of cleaning up the floors I did not have to vacuum first! We had 6 windows replaced and opted for the Endure EN600 series double hung, Energy Star Certified windows. These windows were installed on a warm day in rooms that get the afternoon sun and it was immediately apparent that the sun gain was much lower than the previous windows. The wind is gusting today and there are no drafts! The total cost was a bit above some of the other estimates but after our previous experiences as well as the ease of the ordering process, the personable and professional installers- much less the quality of the windows- it has been well worth it.

Their seasoned installers were very professional, prompt, and respectful of our home. They worked hard to replace our entire two story home in one day before bad weather was supposed to hit the next day. We feel like we got a great product that will last for many decades which also has a great warranty. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting the best customer service and no pressure sales with a great buying experience.

Woohoo! As good as it gets!, is right…read more I had been putting off replacing the windows on my sunporch for years. I kept putting it off, until recently. In the past, I hadn't really utilized the room that much, it was just a room I crossed through when I entered and exited the back of the house. Now, I created an entertainment room and needed to improve the windows. I had spoken to Renewal by Andersen at a craft beer event and kept their information on hand. They did call me a couple of times, since the event and didn't mind when I'd ask them to call back in a couple months. When they followed up the last time, I was ready and meet with one of their salespeople. The sales pitch was professional, informative and low-key, no high pressure. I was sold. The next step in the process was a tech coming out and getting very accurate measurements, since all windows are custom made. Again, this step in the process was professional and took minimal time. Six weeks later, my windows were ready to be installed. They were very accommodating working with my work schedule and coming on my day off during the week, so I didn't have to waste a personal or vacation day to get my new windows installed. My installer was scheduled to arrive at 8 AM, he pulled up 5 minutes early - nice. I like it when a repair/service person is on time. I meet the installer out front and walked him to the back entrance of my home, where the sunporch is located. I went on about my business doing errands within the house, keeping the dogs quiet and I even wrote a couple Yelp reviews. Periodically I'd come back to watch his progress and chat about the job. As I watched, I was impressed with the attention to details and how meticulous he worked. When he was done and I walked into the room for the first time, I knew I made the right decision. I immediately could hear the difference in acoustics and feel the difference in temperature. Not to mention the aesthetics of the room. It was a good investment, that I now wish I would have done it earlier. Would I use them again? Yes. As I replace additional windows in my house, they'll be Renewal By Andersen. When: Early December 2016 Why: Needed new windows (3)

My neighbor explained the scope of the job to him before I explained the job a little more in detail. Mike gave me a quote over the phone and told me that it was a verbal agreement. He also stated that he was booked solid but came out the next day anyway. His crew showed up bright and early ready to work. We walked around to look at the work to be performed and the only negative thing he said to me was that he didn't know that the garage was so high which has 10 foot walls. I had to go out of town for work around lunchtime so I told Mike that my wife will pay him while I'm away when he's finished. He stated that he'll finish installing the roof shingles but will have to come back on some other Saturday to finish the rest of the work on the fascia, soffit and ridge vents. I told him that would be fine. I arrived home a day later and text Mike asking him when he would be able to return to finish the job so we can be on the same page. He told me that before he comes out again, I will have to pay him almost double the price he originally quoted or he's not coming. That's not how you treat your customers especially a disabled veteran. He should have told me that the price needed to be adjusted before starting the job and not complete just some of the work. He also had ample amount of opportunity to say something when I talked to him on their lunch break so that's twice. Now I'm stuck with either paying someone else, paying him more for something we've already agreed to or doing the job myself. I can't afford to pay him or anyone else more than what I have in my budget so I'll just screw it up myself. This was a horrible experience and totally unacceptable! I would not recommend Crotchett Construction! A man is only as good as his word so thanks for not honoring your word Mike.
