So, with this gym close to my house, I decided to grab a day pass and check it out. First of all, the gym is clean. I've been here many times now (because I definitely grabbed a membership), and it's always clean. I usually see employees walking around cleaning during my time there. While we are talking about employees, they have all been super pleasant with me and eager to help without being overbearing at all. They don't hover, but they definitely get you whatever you need. I've only seen one weight machine out of order, and it was back in service in 2 days. That's ALL the machines, to include cardio, benches, cables, etc. One machine in the entire building being down in a month of going 6 days a week is pretty great. I love they offer red light therapy and hydromassage. I've definitely used them both many times! I'm very happy with this gym. It's not super huge, but it's also not super intimidating. It has what I need it to. What else matters?

They just take you to a large screen and apparently there's no tags to get in our out they don't go over this process with you I had to ask. Just very bizarre the whole process is done by a computer.

Please hear my warning and do not allow your children to tend here…read more We started before and after care here with our daughters school. The person in charge is Kaycee above her is her manager Ashley. Where do we begin so I had a C-section and I could no longer walk the stairs at my daughter school so called Ashley, who is above everyone else and clarified that there was another option for me to pick up my kids, which was calling Site Phone number. They never ever ever answered the site phone number I would always have to reach out to Ashley by either phone or email and hope that I can get a hold of her because no one would answer the phone. Kaycee decided to have an inappropriate conversation, questioning my daughter asking if I take stairs at home. Also telling my daughter that we really can't allow this anymore so I had to make a phone call to Ashley about it. I had a doctor's note. Kaycee also had multiple inappropriate conversations with my daughter, would try to bring my daughter over to her house by herself to see her new puppy, would question and ask if she could take her shopping with one on one time and when my ex constantly denied these request, we get a phone call that Kaycee had reported to DCFS. Kaycee stated my daughter had marks on her arms and was being abused. The DCFS caseworker went to school and was very confused as well as there were no marks of any kind on my daughter's arms. Kaycee put my child in a situation that was completely unneeded and is traumatizing. The principal was even confused as they had never had any concerns. We brought all this evidence as well as pictures of my daughter from the morning we dropped her off in the morning to when I picked her up, proving no marks on her arms to the Director Ashley and nothing was done to Kaycee about the false misinformation that was told, when I asked Ashley if she had seen my daughters arms, she said no. We raised these concerns to Ashley. I also told Ashley detailed information about Kaycee talking badly about her. Somehow Kaycee is still working there and working around children.

When I signed up online, I was initially put on the wait list. I called and spoke to Madeline the day before and she went ahead and confirmed I would be in the class. She told me to arrive 15 mins early, and to bring a water and grippy socks. If I didn't have any, they had some for purchase inside the club. (Side note, you can get a 3pk from Marshall's for 9.99!) When I arrived, Madeline greeted me, had me sign the waiver and off I went. Upon first glance in the studio, it looked a wee bit intimidating since there was all this equipment and I knew none of what it was for. Amy, who was a sub instructor, led our class and was very thorough with all her instructions and demonstrations. Prior to the start of class, she went through and asked each person on any previous/current injuries and how to best make adjustments. The class was challenging at times but fun. Once we finished, Madeline explained the different tier memberships, as well as the different classes offered and where the other locations were. I highly recommend the intro class to anyone looking to get a feel of what Pilates is. I can't wait to come back.

It is very reasonably priced (like $20/month) and on a dollar-per-optionality basis, this is an incredible deal. They have lots of equipment and keep up with it. Whenever they have equipment that needs to be repaired, it happens within a reasonable time. Lots of free weights and tons of machines. They're always adding more as well. From the employee perspective, the front staff is extremely, extremely friendly and welcoming. Like Chic-Fil-A almost. I don't think I've ever not been greeted while walking in. People beginning their fitness journey should feel very comfortable here, but there is enough variety for experienced, serious lifters/athletes. I tend to go at nighttime and the cleaning crew is always present, friendly, and hard working. It's not 24h anymore, but they do stay open until 2300 M-Th. One of my favorite home gyms I've ever had, don't be misled by negative reviews. People just want to complain in the Year of our Lord 2026, this is an excellent gym.

Buyer beware - unless you want to enter into a long term, nearly stalkerish relationship…read more I wish I could say I left this gym because of some dramatic scandal. The truth is far less exciting. A closer gym opened 18 months ago, and I moved on like a normal human being. Unfortunately, The Fitness Edge did not. Their outreach since then has been so relentless I am starting to wonder if my former membership came with a bonus feature called "Lifetime Pursuit Mode." I left on perfectly good terms, but apparently that triggered a full-scale search-and-recapture operation. I have requested removal from their email list multiple times. In response, they have heroically continued sending emails, presumably to prove some philosophical point about persistence. At this stage, I am half expecting one of their ellipticals to show up at my window with a boombox, blasting an offer to rejoin. Sarcasm aside, this is not cute. It is not customer service. It is disregard for a basic request. If they cannot honor a simple unsubscribe, I would not trust them with anything more complicated. I cannot recommend this club until they learn how boundaries work.
