NOTHING about this theater would make me want to return. Friday we arrived to watch a movie and we weren't allowed in because we were 13 minutes past the start time. We returned the following day having bought our tickets online (2 rows as we were a big group) and arrived early. This theater is not built on an incline so when a 6 foot man sat in front of me, I of course couldn't see the screen (view the photo). 30 minutes into the movie a staff member asks my parents to move as they were "sitting in someone else's' seats". These people were 30 minutes late to the movie, were allowed to come in AND take our seats. Which by the way was CRAZY because the associate made a mistake, we were actually all in the correct rows after all. We ended up leaving (there were 12 of us) and getting a refund. Unfortunate that didn't make up for the fact our 6 kids were highly disappointed to be leaving after already starting the movie. This is my first and last experience at this theater. I don't mind the drive to South Chase which is where I typically go and will continue to go to.

How cute is this place! You feel like you have stepped back into the late 70's - Early 80's with this homey small town theater. The sound sucks, there is a musty smell and you are screwed if someone with a tall hairstyle sits in front of you, but that is all part of the charm. Popcorn is great and cheap, ticket prices were 6.50 as of August 09. Worth seeing what movie theaters used to be like. It is worth noting that the service was *very* friendly but the crowd in the theater was unusually talkative and obnoxious.

Great local movie theatre in Downtown St. Cloud. Very quaint and you can always walk around and browse the stores before or after the movie.

I really say true to my Aloma cinema Grill, but this was a nice switch up. My parents live closer…read moreto this theater than Aloma cinema Grill now so I didn't wanna have them drive so far to meet us so we went to them and tried this theater for a change. The reclining seats were really nice. It makes it so that even if you get stuck with seats all the way in front of the screen, you can lean your seat all the way back so that it's not as bad on your neck. I won't lie, the chairs are not that comfortable in my opinion, but it was a nice change from the seats we usually have at our regular theater. I was also nice that the food can be ordered directly to your seat. Each seat has its own QR code that makes it easy for the servers to know exactly where they have to bring the order. The food does take a little while to get to you, but they warn you of that on the screen before the movie starts. It is probably best that you go on their website to try to book your tickets in advance so that you can select your seats before they all get filled up. That was how we got stuck with seats all the way in the front. Like I said before, though it really isn't that horrible since the seats do recline pretty far back. The pricing was not bad and they do also have deals during the week where the tickets are way cheaper. I believe they have like five dollar movie tickets on Tuesday or Wednesday or maybe both. They do also have a rewards program. It seems like. The tickets are about 10 bucks each so it still isn't that bad for reclining seats. They do also have an area where you can go and purchase popcorn or anything before the movie starts so if you do get there early and you have time to waste, you can go stand in line to order your stuff before you get to the movie that way you save yourself the way while you're in there. The lobby area where you enter was really messy, but I think it was just because there was so many crowds coming in for the Spider-Man movie. They had so many people everywhere that as soon as you came in, you had to wait practically by the door because the line was so long for everyone coming in. What is nice though is that they have multiple different theaters so they have the capability to have movie starting not too far away from each other so for example, like if one movie starts at 7 o'clock they have another of the same movie starting at 7:05 and then 715. That way, you didn't have to wait so long before still being able to see the same movie. I don't think that once you purchased the tickets, you can modify them, though. I believe that is something you would have to ask the management upon arrival. They do have a no refund policy as well from what I saw on the website. I would say just try to go on the site before you plan on seeing the movie just to take a look and if it seems like there are a lot of times then it may be OK to just go there depending on how far you have to drive. I had a pretty decent experience though and wouldn't mind going back, but it is a bit of a far drive for us.

The place was kept up so you could tell they actually clean up after each film. They also have a full bar. We waited for the previews to be over to see if the temperature was going to get cooler but it didn't so I spoke to the attendant that brought us our food and the temperature was adjusted. They also have bed style seating which is a good option, but they sell out fast. I recommend this spot to watch any movie that comes out very affordable and comfortable.

Some people were very creative. They brought coolers that had wheels, 5 gallon Lowe's paint bucket, large and I mean, large shopping bags, etc. That was pretty cool that they were doing it. The line that seemed pretty long and I was concerned that by the time we were to get up there, they would've ran out of popcorn. I have no clue what they did, but all I know is you never had to wait for them to make more popcorn and the popcorn still tasted fresh. Overall, the people waiting in line weren't complaining about the wait and the staff actually had it moving fairly quick. There were a couple who were a little frustrated. One person only wanted to buy a bottle of water and another person wanted a hotdog and a Coke and weren't too happy to stand in line having to wait for all the popcorn people. One lady had mentioned that it would've been nice if they had a separate line for people who didn't want any popcorn. Makes sense but who knows there may very well be a good reason they weren't able to do that/chose not to do it. I actually waited in the line twice and was fine. It was a holiday weekend so we knew to get there earlier if we wanted to be in line to order, if not, we also had the option to order online prior to getting there. I think it was a great idea of what they did and to see people's expressions, including my own of people's creativity it was pretty cool. The staff did an amazing job. No one seemed stressed/overwhelmed, and they were very efficient moving the line along and not in a rushed way. What I didn't like about it-was the people taking advantage of it. On another note, every time we go there, it is always clean and pleasant. The lobby, theaters, bathrooms etc. Can't recall ever seeing it not look good or smell bad. -Tisha

Kind words and professionalism. The only concern was something we believe is well, not profession or sanitary. We don't believe you should use your hands to open up the popcorn bag! We believe well- that's nasty. You can pop the bag to open the bag, or use the scoop to open but not your hands! Would you do this when you serve a soda- stick your finger or hand inside a cup to dry or clear debris? Look, we asked our cashier not to put their hand inside the popcorn bag and pop it like one of his employees did and we got a weird look- we asked in the most kind, super Disney kind voice- PLEASE DONT STICK YOUR HAND IN THE BAG. PLEASE POP IT OPEN JUST NOT USING YOUR HAND (that's caps here- not yelling). When the employee went to get the popcorn it looked- we believe- he told the manager this (we could be wrong) but even if he didn't , the manager looked to brush off what the employee said and OPENED UP USING HER HANDS THE INSIDE of the POPCORN BAG (yes here I'm escalating emotion). It's just not professional or sanitary. If napkins fall on the ground- throw them away! It's simple. Other than a manager setting bad example the movie was great, the theater was clean (old) but clean, cold ac nice- and nice loud show! (Forgot to add- you can't call and speak to anyone ever. The system is a what I call a Covid system. You know, you can no longer reach the business by phone or email... you have to go to corporate website and fill out a form. You can arrive a half hour before the show starts to pay and get your spot to watch the movie. Tonight we watch Shang Chi and the Ten Rings and our experience specific to tonight... Not the best. In the beginning of the movie there are subtitles which you can't read because on this screen only the top line ever showed. So as long as there's only one line sentences you're good! In addition there aren't any loud speakers or speakers to place on your vehicle like many other drive ins have, so we had a really hard time hearing. I don't know if this movie was shot in dark lighting or if they needed to adjust lighting on the screen, but there seemed to be a glare or it was often hard to see some scenes. There was an idiot with his car lights on which may have posed a problem as well but no one said anything to them. No one walked around to check for things like that like many other theaters do as well. The website indicates if you have difficulty getting your lights to turn off they have covers for your car to use to dim your lights. There's no info about additional speakers though it does say if you have issues you can let them know. Also kind of bummed with the choice of preshow music. We really enjoy attending the theaters that okay the old fashioned tunes and ads! You only get half an hour before hand anyway which also could be extended some. Show up as early as you can within that time frame to get the best pick of parking spots. Also bring big spray or citronella candle or something. Bugs galore! We may try this theater again in the future but will need to probably bring a radio to provide additional speakers.
