It's a small school with so many opportunities for students to grow in community and fellowship with others and knowledge of Christ. The teachers had always been intentional whether I was struggling with grades, life, faith, etc. This school helped exemplify Jesus in the best way they could and really pointed everything back to Him. Great academics, rigorous curriculum that prepared me well for the college classroom and set me up well for a further education.

It has been an exciting, enriching and rewarding experience for all three. Even though we live in a community with a nationally ranked public school system, we chose Wellington because of the small class size and personal attention that a school of Wellington's size can deliver. We have not been disappointed. Our children thrive academically. They also have the opportunity to be in the band, play three different sports (lax, basketball and soccer) throughout the year without worries of being cut from the team (Wellington has a "no cuts" policy) and they can be in theater productions. Wellington encourages diversity in student interests and demonstrates its commitment to diversity in its teachers and in the students it accepts. Wellington parents are friendly, involved and welcome at Wellington. While some schools emphasize "rigor," Wellington seeks "engagement." Wellington students are engaged, active learners who generally are inspired to learn more, do more. It's an amazing place.

I had a great swim coming back to Sunday Swim at UAHS. The Upper Arlington Parks and Recreation now has slots for 1 or 2 pm swims because of popular demand when registering online or by phone and still a great value $3 for residents or $4 non-residents with the $1 convenience fee when paying online. Still would like having the whole 2 hours and and adding 3-5 pm options. Just a thought.

I had my daughter enrolled for 2 1/2 years (1st - half of 3rd grade). The first two years were…read moreokay- relatively smooth and I felt that the teachers and faculty genuinely cared for my daughter. At the beginning of the year, my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD and the school seemed reluctant to do an IEP or accept the diagnosis. I decided to move her to the local public school which seems to have many more resources and programs to help kids succeed at learning. I would say that this school is probably best suited for families whose faith comes first in their lives and whose kids don't need extra resources and help with learning. It's not a bad school, it just ended up being a bad fit for me and my daughter.
