One might think what's the point of rating a gas station, it's a place you stop fuel up and carry on. But the service at this Market Chevron was so bad it prompted me to fill this out - if I could give this location 0 stars I would. The pump wasn't working when we pulled up, so after multiple attempts we went inside the store to pay. No one was at the counter or anywhere to be found. We waited 5 minutes, still no one. Some guy came out of the bathroom after 10ish minutes, not sorry, no addressing us, no acknowledgement. He just walked around aimlessly. I asked a couple times "are you the attendant?" Only to be met with half grunts. He finally confirmed and we were able to pay inside but all questions/inquiries were ignored. I caution anyone who stops here, go to another gas station. read more

Went there around 10:30pm to grab some drinks and snacks for me and my baby. Sign said they were open but both doors completely locked. I saw the attendant mopping the floors and I know how that is so I politely waited outside at the benches, after 10 minutes I stood in front of the door and he saw me and ended up turning the sign to closed. I've had experience with gas stations and if you're going to be doing your side work while doors are locked the first thing you should do is turn your sign off to not draw attention to the store! He could have at least told me he was on break or doing whatever but to know you have customers outside and turn your sign off right in front of them was so rude and very unprofessional! read more

I love Chevron this is the worst Chevron gas station experience I've ever had in my entire life the gas station attendant refused to sell us anything for no reason at all just because he said he didn't like us . The gentleman look like he was not all there may be on drugs I don't know avoid this place ! read more

Bad customer service. There's a big boy who works there. I'm there now doing this review in the parking lot and it's Friday July 30. The big boy with the womanly voice who refuses to speak or be friendly shouldn't be working there. I told him he has bad customer service he told me "thank you have a nice day" there's no reason for this guy to be working in that position at all. I was driving on I-15 when I realized I was low on gas. As I was passing through St. George at the time I took the St. George Blvd exit as it seemed it also had the most restaurant options (I was hungry too) listed as well as also having gas stations available. To preface the rest of the review, by the time I reached St. George, I had already driven 1200 miles in a day and a half. I had fueled up at other stations along the way, all of them listed on freeway exits. There was some variation in prices, maybe 30-40 cents a gallon, depending on location, ie rural vs urban and probably local taxes as well. But there weren't any huge pricing outliers until I got to this station. I don't recall them having a big sign advertising their prices. This was the first station off the exit and I pulled in. There were quite a few cars fueling there, looked to be mostly tourist, SUV's pulling trailers with vehicles, minivans with entire families. This probably lulled me into a false sense of security. I was tired from the drive, I was hungry and wanted to gas up and get something to eat. There were other people at the station fueling up. Given the fact that my experiences at other stations along the trip didn't have any outrageous price gouging, I just assumed this would be the case at this station too. WRONG!!! I stuffed my credit card into the slot and hit the grade selector, took the nozzle and started fueling. I was involved with some texts and phone calls meanwhile so I really wasn't paying attention to the pump. Once the pump stopped, I got my receipt printed and was shocked. Almost $4.60 a gallon! Well, i assumed maybe this is what they are charging in St George in general. Imagine my surprise when looking for a place to get lunch, I sadly came upon other stations, which had advertised their prices on signs, and were about $1 cheaper per gallon. No wonder this station didn't prominently display its prices or probably didn't even bothered to do so at all. It is just simply preying on unsuspecting tourists and travelers. read more

Not the best place to get gas. Was extremely expensive and PLEASE don't buy souvenirs from this place. The selection really sucked and it was extremely overpriced. Find a different gas station like the pilot travel center south of this location and get a better deal for better looking souvenirs. The only reason my fam got souvenirs was to avoid the awkwardness of being there for like 15 minutes looking for something worth getting. read more

They close about 10 minutes before the posted hours. Rude and insolent to the lady that came in after. The open sign was on, but he wouldn't help her. Not a good selection of driving snacks. There's gas, so 2 stars I guess. Texaco across the street has snacks and nice people. read more

Worst customer service from a gas attendant I've ever experienced. I'm a pretty patient person, and the amount of disrespect I received over an obvious pump error was horrendous. I asked if they could reset the pump because it froze and he looked at me like I asked him to kill his dog. Then proceeded to speak to me like I was an imbecile. Good location near freeway but brutal to get in and out of and access is a little confusing. Maybe traffic was just busy the day we were there but it took a while to get out. Kind of situated on a busy corner makes it a little tricky. read more

There are lots of gas options in St. George. This one will NEVER be on my list again. If there were only two stations in the city and this one was $5 cheaper, I would go to the other one. And if there were no other gas stations in St. George, I would push my car to Cedar City before using this gas station again. The clerk was extremely rude. The station was clearly having problems with their pumps. I moved to three different ones because the first two had an error code on them. And despite the fact that most of the other people were having the same trouble, the clerk somehow implied that it was me who was making the mistake. Since the pumps were having problems, I was forced to pay with the cashier inside. It was the same clerk who blamed me for the pump problems outside. I told the clerk I needed to fill it up. In most gas stations, they hold your credit card and charge you whatever it cost to fill it up and then return your card. But this guy made me determine how much I needed. When I informed him that it was a rental car and I wasn't sure how much it would take, he simply said, "Well, I need you to give me a number. I can't process it without something." So I just said $20. Then, as I was leaving (and this was the kicker), the very next person in line said he needed to fill up. But did the clerk ask him how much he needed? No. He said, "Okay, can I hold your card and charge you whatever it takes?" What? How come I had to guess the amount I needed but the guy behind me could just use his card as I was trying.
