I looked at the board and saw Rockabilly Barbers offers a hot towel shave. I was asked if I had an appointment, I did not but they were able to squeeze me in. What I didn't expect was the extra treatment. The barber shaved the back of my neck and trimmed around my ears. Very nice touch. My shave was great, the barber put different lotions on my face and with the hot towel, it made me like Benjamin Buttons. Haha, just funnin'. Great shave, My new favorite spot.

The haircut itself was ok at best, but the way I was made to feel during the appointment completely ruined the visit. While I was sitting in the chair, one of the staff members started going on and on about how angry he was that a previous customer had only given him a ten dollar tip. He kept complaining, making comments, and clearly wanted someone to agree with him. The entire time I was sitting there knowing I only had ten dollars in my pocket for a tip myself. Instead of relaxing and getting a normal haircut, I spent the whole time feeling stressed, embarrassed, and uncomfortable. Tipping should never be pressured or guilt-tripped by the staff. It is unprofessional and completely inappropriate to talk about customers like that right in front of another customer. It turned what should have been a simple, easy appointment into an awkward situation that I could not wait to escape from. There are plenty of great barbers in the area who treat their customers with respect and don't make them feel like they're not tipping enough. Sadly this experience at Aaron's Barber Shop was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and more than enough for me not to return. One star.

In 30 years I've only been to 4 shops including this one as I am pretty particular about my haircuts. Most barbershops that work off of a no appointment, waiting room basis has like 2 decent barbers that queue up a huge wait but this place is above average all around. I like that the barbers are up front and aren't just there to collect your cash if you need a difficult cut / unique style. I'm a skin fade guy and have gotten one of the best mo hawks from a barber here named "Sandy" but the other barbers were a bit nervous and defaulted me away, I'd prefer this then get my head jacked up. I've never had my head jacked up here in 2+ years and multiple chair sittings. I'm not a very talkative guy in the seat and don't need my barber to be my therapist or speak poorly in public about my neighbor Tim, and I feel like most of those guys respect that. Some interesting personalities in this place but everyone is pleasant to deal with and friendly above all. Some clown in a review below said they charge based on wearing a nice watch- the pricing and services are more then legibly laid out. I also, have worn a Cartier here but must of "missed out" on the price gouging. Coivd-19 has everyone scared but this place has been smart about it. Less waiting room chairs, encouragement to wait outside or in the parking lot, online appointments to be more efficient. Inside the place, everyone is being real with the masks and sanitizing. I had a had never seen or met the owner "Joshep" until tonight with a 05:30 PM (last customer of the day) tedious skin fade cut that was badly needed (I hadn't been back to this place since January 2020). He did a phenomenal job that reminded me that my unsteady hands never should've been playing self barber myself during quarantine for the past 7 months. I was instantly reminded at how great this place is... High recommend for anyone of all ages.
