I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience at the…read moreRolla Walmart Auto Care Center. In October, I had an oil change done here. After driving for only 2 days (200 miles), my oil pressure light came on. When I checked the dipstick, there was no oil at all in the engine. I had to get the car towed back to Walmart, and they admitted the oil filter had been installed incorrectly. They refunded my Uber ride to Walmart since i couldn't drive my car, the oil change, and the replacement filter I had to buy because they didn't have one in stock. I thought the issue was resolved, but a few hundred miles later I noticed a large puddle of oil under my car and, again, no oil on the dipstick. I took the car to Valvoline, where they told me the oil filter had once again been installed incorrectly. My skid plate was soaked with oil from the leak. Had I not caught it, this could have caused serious engine damage. I have documentation of both incidents. I'm sharing this so others know to be very cautious about getting an oil change at this location. Two separate oil filter installation errors in such a short time is unacceptable, and it could have destroyed my engine

About an hour and a half into their 6 hour drive, the vehicle they were driving in got a flat. They put the small spare on and looked around the town they got to for a tire. Best anyone could do was to get one in next day. They made some more calls and Walmart in Rolla had a tire that would fit. By the time they made it there it was well beyond the tire center closing time (by a couple hours). They could sell the tire but not install. After speaking with the boys, the staff member said he would go ahead and put it on for them so they could continue their trip home. I don't have the associates name, but thank you! That is exceedingly above and beyond the expectations of that individuals job responsibilities. The boys did make it home that night thanks to one persons selfless actions. Thank You!

If you value honesty and your car being returned in the same condition or if not better condition…read morethen when you left it, then I would not recommend coming here. October 14, 2025 I brought my Toyota in for a simple rear brake pad change. When I brought it in it had zero lights on the dash, everything worked as should and I had zero issues with the car. I waited 3 HOURS on a slow day and was stuck 30 minutes after they closed just for Joey to finally tell me (mind you he was very worried) they can not get my car out of maintenance service mode and my parking brake isn't working. He told me to come back in the morning. When I got into my car, my dash has serval light on, messages popping up, I could not use my parking brake, cruise control, or see my digital speed. Not that I expected a discount but they charged me full price $236.71 and NEVER apologized. I brought the car back the following day, Austin and Joey messed with it for several hours while I was at work. Austin told me it was throwing codes and one code worried him so much he did not want to touch my car until the owner Travis got there to look. I waited hours in the waiting room only to never see Travis nor did he speak to me when it was that serious. Austin tried to tell me it must be a wiring problem, it was probably wear and tear and things like that just happen. They said I would have to take it to Toyota and to let them know what happens. Only if it was something they TOUCHED would they pay for it 100% is what Austin told me. I took it to Toyota the following day and turns out they never correctly connected the connector or put the pins back in on the actuator. It was $199.38 for repairs. October 17th I brought Joey my invoice from Toyota only to be greeted with clear annoyance/anger that I had already paid to fix it because it now caused him to file "a lot of paperwork" I did ask Toyota how to handle this situation prior to paying and they said they do not get in the middle of issues like this and to take the invoice to jiffy lube and they would have to reimburse me, to which I relayed that information to Joey and he was more upset as if it was my fault they did not give me clear directions on who should pay for the repairs. Joey told me to give him a few days to file the paperwork and send it in and he would get back to me on it. To which never happened. I contacted Travis the owner because I was taken back by the attitude they now had with me. He told me he had no idea what was going on but reassured me it would be taken care of. Fast forward to now January 14, 2026 I tried to contact them SEVERAL times for almost 3 MONTHS to only be told to leave a message and someone would call me back. No one ever called me back, they completely ignored me. Yesterday I finally got in contact with Joey only for him to be annoyed again and asked me what I wanted. I told him he was supposed to get back to me which never happened and ignored me for months so what is going on. He told me there was nothing he could do for me because a technician never went to Toyota and I'm past my 30 day or 3,000 mile mark warranty. I now understand why they ignored me for 3 months. However no one said a word about a warranty nor that a technician needed to go to Toyota. Even when I took Joey the invoice he never said a word about it, his issue was the fact I paid to repair my car because it's my only reliable car I should add. I asked to speak to cooperate or Travis the owner because this has been extremely unprofessional and if not I would be contacting the BBB. Not even 30 minutes later Joey calls me back telling me that they will look into it but needs a copy of the paper I already gave him because they conveniently lost ALL files they had about this situation. Today he asks for my current mileage on my car as if that has anything to do with what happened in October. I feel like they are just running me in circles and nothing will be resolved. They have gave me excuse after excuse after excuse. I have everything documented and recorded, I just didn't have enough space to type it all.

I knew from experience my Ford had experienced a blown out spark plug and I did a google search and found Daniel's garage in St. James. I called and spoke with "Bruce" and he assured me he would go take a look at my vehicle within the hour as I had left my keys in the truck and he would be able to start it and listen to the engine. His business was less than a mile from where I parked my vehicle and I told him I could have it towed or he could limp it into his garage. After not hearing from him after two hours I called to check on the status. He told me they were busy and he was just getting ready to send someone to look at it. Two more hours go by and I call again to check on the status and see if he had sent someone to look at it. His response seemed to indicate he had forgotten all about it and he again assured me that he was sending someone out to look at right away and he would call me back before they closed the shop around 5pm. STILLLLLLL no call and when I tried to call them at closing time, all I received was an answering machine. That was it for me and I called Hutchison Ford in St. James the next morning and had it towed through my insurance provider road side assistance. The Ford dealer called me right away when my truck was brought in and had it fixed and ready for me to pick up by the afternoon. So, to recap, if you are broken down and have to leave your vehicle in St. James avoid Daniel's garage. Horrible customer service and won't return your calls.
