This Hyatt was much like the other Hyatt houses we have stayed in, spacious, clean, and happy staff members that were extremely nice and professional. If I had any critiques it would be thr unexpected $14 parking fee in a lot separate from the hotel, the kitchen is on the boutique scale ie: the fridge is a mini, and the breakfast has been my least favorite. Other than that everything was as expected. I love Hyatt houses. I think this particular one fits the mode for the area it's in. I would come back. My girls had an awesome time in the pool. Again. The pool was on the smaller side but thankfully it was only occupied by my 4 girls and they had a great time. The photos online are as expected.

The furniture had a newer modern type of vibe. The lamps were nice and had extra charging ports. The time X alarm clock also had extra ports. I was assigned an adjoining room, although I did not request one. I wasn't staying with anyone, but there was an adjoining room and it had both the bolt lock and then the hotel security lock so it felt OK. The bed was comfortable. I wish they had a full mattress cover, instead of just a square padding that covered the middle of the mattress. It looked pretty clean. I didn't see any stains on it. The only stain was like a black ink type of stain on the lower corner end. The bathroom was pretty clean. Overall I was satisfied with the room. The continental breakfast was better than I had expected. It was actually the best continental breakfast that I've had in all of my hotel stays, so kudos to Hyatt. The gym which is shared with the other conjoining hotel was very nice also. I did not partake in the bar or the dinner area so I cannot comment or review on the food or service there. So one main gripe I would say would be the parking. I think $14 a day for parking is a little steep, especially with the cost of the room itself. It should definitely be included. So would I stay again? I would.

The space is warm, inviting and beautiful, the food is delicious and their staff are always so kind and hospitable. The room doors are extremely heavy and you have to stand up and have some strength so if you are in a wheelchair and can't do that, it tough luck. Room is what you expect. The tv service is limited and didn't have some of my favorite channels. There is a sound machine and clock radio which is great if you don't want to use your phone. Only a shower. You can get limited room service in the morning and afternoon/evening. I hope the group I am with decides to try some place else next year.

Staff was super friendly with check in and efficient. They offered us a free water and a snack which was nice. The room itself was very clean and nice. The hotel itself seems very new, clean, and up to date with modern fixtures. Great showers. No weird tub situation. Would defintely stay here again and would recommend.

I was…read moreon the lookout for a rest stop before I hit the Lansing area for some sightseeing, and this one popped up just in time. Pulling in, it looks like all the other rest stops in Michigan that I've been to, so nothing different here. But, I will say, this one was really clean and pretty! Plenty of flowers throughout, freshly cut grass and no garbage from what I could see. The bathrooms here are in pretty good shape, and they have a few vending machines in the lobby area if you need something to drink or snack on. What I really liked has they even had a coffee machine. Nice! Also, there's plenty of picnic tables and some charcoal bbqs if you need to stay for longer and make something to eat while on the road. They have courtesy dog runs as well if your pets need to get out and stretch their legs as well. Overall, a nice clean pit stop. Easy in, easy out.

As I travel along westbound I-69 (yes, I realize that odd-numbered interstates run north and…read moresouth), this rest area is one of my favorites. Located just before you get to the Lansing area, it makes for perfect timing after traveling a ways from the Canadian border. The building is maintained to impeccable standards. It is newer and laid out well. Refreshments are available in the vending machines inside the building at either end. With ample parking on both sides of the building, easy access is afforded for all who stop. A word of warning to those who utilize the big-rig lot - as with most rest areas in the state, it fills up during the evening hours and you might find yourself scrambling to park along the sides. It is not unusual to see trucks stretched out along the exit and entrance ramps here. A great stop that I make here often.

Campsites are nice. They have added some pull through sites for larger rigs. They do allow tent camping. Beautiful place to stay and more updates coming, from what we're told! They are working on getting bathroom and shower facilities in place. Pleasantly have outhouses which are kept clean and tended to regularly. Highly recommend!

I booked on August 8th for an August 15-18 stay, but had to cancel due to a death in my family. Bryan was unapologetic and downright rude about enforcing their rigid policy: within 14 days, you get nothing back. Outside that window? Still a $25 "admin fee" for a tent site. There are plenty of other gay campgrounds that are friendlier, more flexible, and actually care about their guests. Maybe that's why it was so easy to snag a last-minute reservation here. Pretty grounds can't cover up an ugly attitude.

Best in show and groups were down the hill in a third larger building. All buildings were kept up nicely. They had public restrooms and port a potty's.
