    Our seasonal site.

What can I say about Camp Boomerang, it's a fairly new All Men's RV Resort/ Campground with large well maintained sites. The pool and spa are fantastic. Every Friday night there is a group bonfire. The tent sites are very nice with electric. There are numerous planned events on the weekends. Plenty of private trails to wander. The bathhouse is very clean. Camp Boomerang is also close enough to to go shopping or out to eat if you like too. Best of all are the Owners who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. It's definitely a great place to visit, you won't be disappointed. We liked it so much we got a seasonal site.

We really enjoy visiting Wabasis! The beach is clean and usually not crowded. (Also it's free!)…read moreThey have several nice play areas (at least 4) for the children and rent pavilions for parties. There's a fantastic "Lodge" type building with a full kitchen and bathrooms up at the top of the hill that can be rented for weddings or large family reunions. They offer volleyball areas, kayak rentals and camping spots. You can get spots where you can park with water and electricity, or you can get more primitive spots where you need to hike in. Most spots have a cement fire pit. It's very family friendly with a nice little store for camping supplies, shirts or frozen treats. There's a nice, clean bath house and Port-a-John's for people who don't mind using those. For people who don't like campers or tents, Wabasis offers cabins and a cottage. The cottage has four bedrooms, a well stocked eat-in kitchen, living room, TV, rowboat and a bath. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has two twin beds and one bedroom has a single twin bed. Someone could also sleep on the couch, and we have even had kids sleep on the love seat. The cabins offer two bedrooms, with a small kitchenette/couch but NO bathrooms. The cabins are clean and spacious for a family of four. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other offers two sets of bunk beds. There is a couch in the cabins for an extra person. Both the cabins and the cottage are pet-friendly. We enjoy camping and have camped at Wabasis with tents, and our camper. In the fall we usually rent the cottage or a cabin, depending on what's available and have all the kids and grandkids come for a long weekend. There are trails to hike, fishing, and boating.

It's a nice area to bring your family, not really a party site if you are looking for that. They…read morehave kayak rentals, rowboar rentals and a nice beach with a decent size playground and nice hiking trails, The porta potty were really gross but other than that had a great time

This is a little gem of a campground that's pleasantly filled with comforts and modern amenities. The campground itself is very small, but it's quiet, & has a steady body of water. I will be staying here again. I spent the weekend sitting in my hammock and enjoying hearing the water. 5/6 of the cabins face the water just as an fyi, so it's like a private paradise. The town of SoHa is really fun too and a great place to wine, dine, & explore. The cabins are basic and rustic with one plug in to charge your electronics. There is one light in there but it does get dark at night. Bring a nightlight. The queen bunk beds are great and comfortable. I would say more like 2-3 people could comfortably sleep in a cabin due to space and the cabins get hot at night! There's showers, there's toilets, there's cabins- oh my! The showers run on a unique token system. 1 token=$1=3 minutes of hot, private, shower. Tokens are purchased on site. the showers are game changers because they're open 24 hours with cameras outside so the owners monitor who goes in/out and your safety. As a queer person, I felt comfortable & safe at this campground.

False advertising....Where are the treehouses and yurts they state are available on their website? If you are looking for a campground where you have to make your own fun, you found the right place. The campground offers gravel roads, a pool (needs some refinishing) and hot tub, basketball court, and playground...but charge the fee of a resort with more to do. Seasonal price going from $3,600 to $4,860 (+ winter storage $180 + monthly electric) with very little to show as improvements. They plan to put in more sites, but they can't even fill the sites they have. If you are backing in your camper for the weekend, you may have trouble finding your driveway as it is covered in weeds so makes it very hard to see where you are supposed to be. If the manager doesn't agree with you, she will tell you "if you don't like it, you can find a new place to stay" or that you may not be welcomed there. Not how you should be treated if you are paying over $5,000 to camp there. She reacts before she thinks. Entertainment director hires herself as the DJ. Last DJ night, we saw a whole 4 people sitting around. In the past years, the DJ floor was full of families having fun.
