Thankfully, both baby and I emerged okay, even after I developed preeclampsia. The hospital staff were incredibly supportive throughout the ordeal. The bill was over 100k but insurance/medical came through! Baby also had to undergo the blue light treatment for her jaundice. Getting up to feed her with a cutt and glued stomach was painful to say the least. I'm still not fully healed it feels from the procedure. It's a nightmare replaying in head time and time again. But to be able to hold my healthy baby in my arms comes joy that overrides every emotion I am feeling. While the labor and delivery room was perfect, our postpartum room had a clogged sink, making it difficult to care for the baby, especially since the hospital staff didn't handle the initial bath. Despite this, we were provided with decent meals three times a day. Overall, it was a real rollercoaster ride.

( many wonderful ones as well ) example of bad dr : Natalie Snyder. My experiences with her have been appalling . Looked up reviews of her & discovered I'm not the only one. Yet she still works there? Google her. Look at the one where she disregarded appendicitis in a 5 year old & the mom drove to another hospital where they immediately had to do emergency surgery ! I was speaking to one of the secretaries and an MA inserted herself into the conversation and gave me attitude and tried to belittle me. Honestly, if you hate your job working with patients then work at a cemetery. This isn't the first time I've seen the women at this department act so rude. An elderly black lady with a walker was sent over from a different area and told to check in at 230. She explained how they told her she would be seen here. An MA/secretary basically bullied her and said "you shouldn't be here, who's your doctor, why would you be sent over?!?!" I'm thinking, "dude, she's like old. Chill, this isn't a government secret building and she's not gonna break in" The elderly patient further explained and you could tell the worker saw she was in the wrong. Honestly don't check in at 230 or file a complaint like I did when you have mean girls in the office who have attitude and mistreat their patients. I understand that you get patients who are rude and say annoying/stupid comments but don't treat innocent patients l as if they're in your damn nerves.

I've had to get X-rays elsewhere but no other imaging facility compares. I've never had more than a 10 min wait, but most times there's little to no wait at all. The check-in clerks are all super friendly. They know me by face now and they always ask how im doing and are just super welcoming. The X-ray technicians have all been very kind and gentle. They explain everything as they're doing it and they're able to work expeditiously to have you in and out. If you don't mind waiting 5-10 min, you can get a CD with your images on the spot to take home with you. I also like that since SPMF is a Medical Group affiliated with Sutter Health, I am able to access my imaging reports online even before my doctor sees it! If you have the ability to choose a facility of your choice for X-rays, I highly recommend SPMF. *Please note that this facility only has the capacity to take x-rays. MRI's and CT scans are performed at a different Sutter facility

Labor was intense, and I experienced panic attacks while trying to stay focused and in control. Despite the physical and emotional strain, I delivered a nearly 9-pound baby but suffered a severe and rare vaginal tear that required 18 stitches. What made this experience even more traumatic was the lack of compassion and support I received. While I was being stitched, in extreme pain, and unable to hold my baby, a nurse yelled at me, saying, "PLEASE DO YOUR JOB SO I CAN DO MINE," when I couldn't physically manage to hold my newborn. I felt completely humiliated and broken in a moment when I needed the most support. Later, another nurse told me how difficult the birth had been due to the baby's head coming out sideways, which likely contributed to the tear. However, no one had checked her position beforehand -- something that might have prevented the complications I endured. This experience left me deeply traumatized. I expected medical expertise and compassionate care, but what I received felt cold and careless. No woman should have to go through what I did. Unfortunately this experience has kept me from having any more kids 7+ years later

The signs that are there have physicians names that are no longer there. The urgent care has only one physician so the wait is normally 2-4 hours or longer. I went to the ER lately and they were amazing. I feel like it's a cattle call with all the backups and the number of patients waiting. Our medical system is broken and it's only getting worse.

After a lot of chaos, my mother had to go by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors found her dehydrated, they said her various lines/ tubes were "crusty" and she had a severe infection that had not been noticed. We had anxiously been awaiting some healing so she could come home, and we ended up with a huge loss in footing and more hospital time and treatments. The nurses actually apologize often for the doctors making bad decisions. Also, it's REALLY loud at night.
