Quaint little coffee shop that also happens to be part of the Southern IL coffee trail, which is how I found out about it. In checking out their FB page, I saw them mention a gingerbread latte, so I made the drive. When I got there, they didn't have their holiday menu out yet, but the staff was happy to make my GBL anyway, so that was much appreciated. For people like me who prefer to make their coffee more like a dessert, they have lots of different flavored lattes on their menu. I also had a breakfast burrito, which was fine. If you're not familiar with the area, your GPS will probably lie to you about the location. It's right next to the visitors center, with a good sized parking lot. This is such a cute little coffee shop. There's a ton of parking right next door in the parking lot. Their menu is huge! So many drinks and snack options to choose from. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I ordered the Jamaican orange tea on ice. It was super refreshing. I should have added sugar but it was good none the less. Tasted very much like green tea. There was a good amount of seating here. Mainly tables of four, some bar seating and a couple couches. I wouldn't sit in the couch chair by the window as it had a strange smell lol. read more

I have had 2 different items from their coffee menu, the carmello and the sugar daddy and I have loved them! I have been back multiple times! I came back with a friend who had a boba tea and their mango smoothie and it was delicious as well! As for food, I have had their chocolate donuts, hash browns, bbq quesadillas, potato soup, and 2 items from their sandwich menu and I am obsessed. They have great food! Their customer service is also amazing! They always remember me when I come in and greet me with a smile! As for the ambiance, the shop is so cute and the vibes are so nice! That drink list! I had to just read something off or else I'd still be standing there trying to decide what I wanted! I treated myself to a Heath bar latte, my sister got the Almond Joy. We both had a breakfast burrito, hers with sausage and I had bacon. They were hot, well stuffed and brought to our table by a smiling employee. We had delicious splurge coffee drinks and a satisfying breakfast served by staff that seemed happy we were there. A perfect start to our long weekend. The only disappointment we had here was learning we wouldn't be able to make a return visit later in the day when we would be returning to downtown Mascoutah; they close at 2 PM on Saturdays. read more

Not sure how long this place has been around, but I was glad to find it. The breakfast croissant with bacon was super on point, especially with hot sauce. The nitro cold brew was so-so, and they didn't have any cold foam, so that was disappointing. Probably wouldn't order it again. That said, overall, I look forward to trying other drink options, including the bubble tea. read more

I LOVE this place! The staff is so friendly, the coffee is on point, and the food is amazing (especially the Filipino food on Saturdays!). It's in a historic building with a step into the door, so it's not wheelchair-friendly to get into, but they do offer delivery now for orders $25+, which is nice. Not good. And honestly we ended up throwing out both drinks. I gave two stars because the girls working were friendly and the breakfast burrito was homemade and actually not too bad. The first frustrating thing is that we ordered 20 oz iced drinks but were told they couldn't make those because they did t have cups, so we either had to do 24 or 16. So I reluctantly ordered a 24. I did the caramello. It was just not good. The milk/cream had a very funny aftertaste. And the syrups tasted very very artificial. Not open on Sundays or Mondays. Another local place that it kill me to write a bad review. We went in this morning to get breakfast, we asked about donuts and were told rudely, they only have them on the weekends. To complete the trifecta, there's plenty of seating, and a double storefront of windows, to allow in plenty of light, and let you keep on eye out, on what's happening in this sleepy little Midwestern town. This is a great addition to downtown Mascoutah. I'm a tea drinker (never coffee), so I wasn't surprised that I had to explain what a tea latte is when I ordered it. It wasn't bad, although the availability of a plain, sweetened syrup would have been nice. My daughters really like their hot cocoa, and the pastries are pretty good as well. I really appreciate having a spot with wifi, so I can work there when I need to. The cafe is always clean and the staff is nice, so I'm hoping this business makes it.
