Everyone was happy until one of the coaches asked my daughter to work in her leotard without shorts, even though she had been wearing shorts for weeks. My wife tried to discuss it with the coaches, but from that point on, she was uninvited. They said there was no room on the team anymore, even though when she called in to discuss, the staff on the phone said there were spaces on the team. She couldn't even join the other team where they had offered her a spot because they were magically out of spaces now. I'm glad we didn't end up here, because anywhere with an issue over an 8 year old wanting to wear gymnastics shorts is not a safe place. https://usagym.org/PDFs/Women/Rules/Rules%20and%20Polici es/2021/01_membership_091021.pdf 5) Shorts: must be solid black (small manufacturer's branding allowed) with no embellishments. Shorts must be worn over a leotard and the length must be above the knee or shorter. 1) "Not Allowed" is no longer the case. USA Gymnastics is the one who sets those rules, correct? They announced this change over a year ago. Is it standard for such a "top tier gym" to be so behind on the rules changes nationally? 2) Your claim of available spaces for coach ratios don't line up when we call the gym AFTER we've been told that there are no spaces and the actual employee on the phone says that there are. We also checked with the other team that had spots multiple spots available, and they magically, simultaneously all filled up after we had been there for 3 weeks? Sorry, that doesn't add up. Share Response from the owner 2 hours ago Hi Christian, Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate hearing both positive and negative feedback. We apologize that your experience at TC didn't meet your expectations and would like a chance to make it right for you, and also clarify some of our policies. Our shorts policy for our team athletes is as follows - while most team athletes choose not to wear shorts over their leotards, shorts are allowed during workout unless coaches specifically designate a particular workout or event rotation as "no shorts". The sole reason for asking the girls to not wear shorts is that our coaches believe that since the athletes cannot compete in shorts, they should be accustomed to performing without shorts. Then when competition rolls around, there is no discomfort when competing without shorts. As for our lack of available spaces in our teams, we conform to strict athlete to coach ratios for the safety of our athletes. We work diligently to hire qualified coaches year-round in order to serve our athletes as safely and competently as possible. Great team coaches can be hard to come by, and our commitment to hiring only the most experienced and qualified coaches makes our job a little tougher. We wish we had the coaches and physical space to never turn anyone away, but keep the well being of the athletes that are in our care as our priority. We do have openings at our sister gyms in Chesterfield and Mid Rivers, and are always happy to refer you to other gyms in the area if we can't help you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions we can help you resolve.

Racism is alive and well in 2023 and unfortunately it came to my front door…read more On Sunday, March 13th Laila completed her final gymnastics meet of the season. One in which she received 2nd place-Overall Gymnastics among her team as well as the other competing teams. Following, this meet her Level 1 Junior Olympics team coach Maggie thought it was appropriate to write Laila a congratulatory notes calling her Miss Bojangles!!(Please see the note attached). To say we were appauled, outraged, and shocked would be an understatement. What hurts the most is that in speaking to Laila and educating our 8 year old on the history of Bojangles, racism, and many other topics Laila expressed feelings of hurt, and extreme sadness. How do you explain to a child at 8, that everyone that says they like you and are a proud of you unfortunately aren't. Thankfully, I am a Mental Health Counselor and know how to treat Trauma. On Tuesday, March 15th I promptly emailed @All American Gymnastics and Super Ninja St.Louis owner Susan (Sue Renshaw) and below is her response. As you read it it says nicknames are given for team building purposes. Also, noted if Laila was hurt we apologize. No sincerity, nor accountability. It is absolutely apparent that Sue's lawyer wrote this document for her. Sue references how she was so looking forward to Laila continuing with them. I can name 3 reasons she was. 1. Laila always brings home individual scores of 35 or higher, 2. She is an awesome gymnast, and 3. We pay our financial obligations and show up and show out everytime. Sue's self/business accountability looked like releasing us from the remaining 2 months of financial obligations and not allowing Coach Maggie Coffey the opportunity to explain her choice of nickname. Also, Maggie has never referred to Laila as this name in front of myself or any other family members. Please share this post and help us hold All American Gymnastics and Super Ninja accountable!!! #IStandWithLaila

The facility is perfect for classes, the class sizes are small enough to get individual attention, and the parent area is comfortable. I'd highly recommend for kids from toddler to school age.
