We were told when scheduling the party that the kids would be able to go into the pool at 1pm. We didn't get shown to a party room until 1:15pm. Then I had to take 8 girls to the changing room to get them all changed for the pool. They didn't get into the pool until 1:25pm. There were 2 lifeguards on duty and they were BOTH on their phones. The slide was opened when the girls first got in the pool but was closed way before 2:15pm. The kids were then called out of the pool at exactly 2:15pm. I then had to get 8 girls showered/changed. We didn't get back to the party room until 2:30pm. Our pizza was cold. There was no pitcher of water that I asked for. There was no plastic silverware. The girls had barely finished their pizza when we were told we only had 15 minutes left in the room. We had to hurry up and light the cake, sing happy birthday and eat the cake. There was no plastic silverware to serve or cut the cake. By the time the girls finished their cake it was 2:55pm. My daughter still hadn't opened presents. My husband had to ask the facility to give us 10 extra minutes so that my daughter could open 6 presents. After the ten minutes, All of our guests (and us) were pushed out of the room. For the amount of money I spent on that party, there should have been more time. They clearly don't take peoples time into consideration. The kids should get 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool like we were told when booking. There is no physical way you can undress into a suit, swim for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool, redress, eat pizza, talk with friends, sing happy birthday, serve and eat cake and open presents in the amount of time they give you when booking a party. I am extremely disappointed.

There's plenty of parking and they also have EV charging stations too. The front desk staff were friendly. My family enjoyed the space and is already looking forward to booking the room again for a family gathering!

I've booked rooms at the Brentwood Community Center twice within the last 30 days, and on both…read moreoccasions, the day-of staff were helpful, professional, and ensured that our events ran smoothly. Those positive experiences made what followed even more disappointing. My most recent interaction with the front desk the night prior to our event significantly changed my perception of the center. The front desk attendant, Jacqueline, was unprofessional and inappropriate in her conduct. During our interaction, she repeatedly accused us of being dishonest regarding a conversation she was not present for--despite the fact that the conversation was later confirmed to have occurred. She also made claims that we had done something to her, which was entirely untrue. What was even more disappointing was the follow-up from management. While they acknowledged the situation internally, they stated they "cannot force her to apologize" underscoring that he reviewed the video footage. Unfortunately, that footage did not include audio as it would show that I never raised my voice at her, cursed or insulted her. She, however raised her voice and insulted me multiple times. He also failed to acknowledge a key point: the situation was escalated by her repeatedly calling me a liar. Instead of addressing that behavior directly, the matter was reduced to a "she said, she said" scenario. Additionally, there was a third party affiliated with the center who could have been consulted to help verify what occurred as he apologized to us once we left but based on the call, it does not sound like that step was taken. An apology would have gone a long way toward resolving this situation, especially given the personal nature of the insults. Because of this experience, we will be moving future events to other venues whose staff demonstrate professionalism and held accountable when they fall short of that standard.

(They also participate in Silver Sneakers, if you have Medicare.) I really like the large indoor pool and enjoy the water classes. Of note, you do NOT automatically get access to the North Pointe Aquatic Center in Ballwin when you joint The Pointe at Ballwin Commons - there is a separate membership for the outdoor aquatic center. This is definitely a family-centered gym. There are tons of kids around. They are doing some renovations/upgrades of different areas at the time of this review. Currently, the interiors are a bit dull, not fancy like some other gyms. They have large basketball courts and pickleball open play times (no charge). There are swim lessons, open swim times and water walking in the lazy river (check the schedule so you aren't disappointed). There are also a ton of classes and programs with additional charges. There is a childcare area. The weight lifting areas and upstairs indoor track are kind of awkward in design, and not huge but you can get a workout in. The outside is nice. There are large free parking lots and a cute playground for children with picnic tables.

For the price, you can't beat it! I go there to use the cardio machines, such as elliptical and…read moretreadmill. Sometimes I use the weight machines. It's not too crowded so I've never had to wait for a machine. There's a track upstairs if you want to walk or run. Fitness classes are included with membership, which is such a great deal, but I haven't tried them yet. There's also plenty of parking, which I always appreciate. Checking in at the front desk is easy; you just scan your keychain and head in. I do wish there was more space to do your own HIIT, bodyweight workouts, and stretching. You can use the classroom if there's not a class going on, but it would be nice if there was a room open all the time.
