Everyone at kindercare has been so supportive and caring that I always feel good about dropping him off. Since the moment I inquired about kindercare to today we have been treated phenomenal . Mrs..Sara , Ms. Grace and Ms. Kailah have treated my son with so much care and love that I really owe them a lot. My son not only loves to go to daycare everyday but has not cried at drop off. I get pictures of him throughout the day through the app and all of his photos he is smiling and looks like he's having a blast. My son has learned to hold the bottle on his own, gets read to him regularly, has stopped using his pacifier and is learning new things everyday. The Montessori learning that is incorporated into the curriculum helps a lot in our home life as it gives our son the confidence to do certain tasks that he also does at school. They also help a lot with kindergarten prep, and my son is only 3 but can identify letters and numbers, and they are now working on sight words. However, this preschool is among the worst early education environments we have encountered. Based on our concerns, we put an X on a diaper. The X was still there at pick up. There are basic issues around safety and security that made us nervous. In addition to some issues of concerns around the care, they do not honor their own policies. We opted out of marketing but we still found photos online of our little person online. We have ten children in our local family and this is the worst preschool we have encountered. Please be careful and make sure that you do the work to research the quality of care.

My favorite event that I attended, that she organized and prepped the kids for, was a "book crawl" where all grades 4th and below participated in a unit of study where each grade picked a theme and put together their own individual class books over the course of the unit and parents got to go listen to their students read their books aloud in their classrooms. I have twins that were in kinder, and their theme was how to be community helpers. I highly recommend Ms. Smothers, she has had many years of experience in all facets of the school system.

They also send out an in depth view of the the curriculum for the month, along with the special bible verses and songs they will learn during the month along with the monthly snack menu. The children are divided up by age and level and focus on age appropriate objectives. The school is very clean, secure, and safe. Parents must enter a code to enter through the door and sign their child in and out with their fingerprint. The teachers are all very sweet and kind upon arrival and my child appears to love them all. This is great for me, because I would hate to hand my daughter off to someone who did not appear happy that she is working there. I am very picky and a at times a nervous wreck about my daughter, but this has been the first childcare provider that I am able to drop of my child, without worrying. My daughter is also very outgoing yet has a sensitive nature as well, the teachers and the director have always had nothing but open ears and hearts when I speak to them about any concerns have with her and another child. They address the issues according while putting my mind at ease as well. Kids well be kids, but its great to know that no form of bullying or taunting is accepted hear. Again, the teachers are all kind and appear to love their job which is a huge compliment to the director of the school as well. She has a very gentle way of being and is very accessible and kind as well. Lastly, being a Christian school there is a huge focus on learning biblical principles. All the children have an evident passion for Jesus, which is noticeable at all the school events I attend. The staff has done a wonderful job instilling this in them at such as young age, which is the greatest take away from this school. My daughter at the age of 4, thanks God for "everything she has" and when she has done something wrong, when she is praying at night, she always asks for forgiveness. She also has learned to pray in such a powerful way and impresses the whole family at times. She constantly talks about Jesus and what she learns about him and school. In each classroom, there are progress reports detailing how my children are doing, some comments are surprising as I did not think my children would do so well, then I knew the teachers are doing something right. My partner and I started the application process in August, which included a facility visit and the longest written application ever. But we were happy to submit any and everything if it meant an easy time for our toddler. The problem, however, was that after every step we completed, there was at least a two week period before Kay Fleming would get back to us. Often times, it was my partner and I who had to phone them down before providing any helpful information. We finally made it to submitting our pay stubs and as soon as we did, Kay ghosted us and we did not hear back from them for at least a month. We randomly get a call from Kay saying that the class was full and they were not accepting any more children. Two months pass and we receive a call from Circle of Friends stating that Kay Fleming no longer works there and they would love to pick up where we left in getting our daughter enrolled. They mentioned that they had our previous application but said it would be best to resubmit a new one. So we did. After a few days Lili (the young lady helping) calls me to inform me that we do not qualify for the subsidy price and that we would have to pay the $325 weekly. Not a big issue for us, but as I was breaking down the price to my partner as we considered our options, Lili sends me a text saying "we apologize for the inconvenience but we are only prioritizing families that qualify for subsidy and your daughter is no longer in consideration." Let me be clear - we were not checking for Circle of Friends after the experience with Kay Fleming. I honestly believe there was some financial discrimination involved that I assumed was a reflection of Kay, but after having a similar experience with Lili, it is clear this is an organizational issue that has waisted our time. If you are looking for care for your children, please look elsewhere and this place is incredibly unprofessional.
