I called multiple times over the following weeks and was repeatedly told that the "billing department was working on it," but no one ever followed up or resolved the issue. By 11/3 -- three weeks later -- the situation was still unresolved. Because of the overcharge, I couldn't afford to refill my regular medication and am going through severe withdrawal symptoms. When I called again for help, Jasmine said they'd send an emergency supply but that billing was still working on the issue. I was told someone would call me "by the end of tomorrow," but at this point, I'm not optimistic. I switched from CVS and Walgreens to support a small, local business, hoping for better care and personal service. Instead, I was met with indifference and even had a staff member hang up on me mid-conversation when I tried to explain what happened. I had to call back and was treated with attitude and zero compassion. Pharmacies are supposed to care about their patients' wellbeing. This experience has been incredibly stressful, financially damaging, and medically unsafe. I truly hope management takes this seriously and improves their customer service and billing practices.

I was browsing some merch for price comparison and happened to notice one of the employees-Michael, the black identifying male- allowing a person from the street to carry out merchandise for free, despite the alarm going off by the front door. For how viciously classist the employees are here, I'm trying to figure out how they missed a homeless African American male carrying out CVS merchandise for free. This person never checked out at the register but had a CVS item in his hand upon exiting the door. I also found it circumspect that Michael left the register unattended for a few minutes before this person entered and stole merchandise. Michael exited first and the alarm went off. Generally staff does not carry unpaid merchandise out of the store. And Michael wasn't on a lunch nor 15 minute break. So I'm trying to figure why he would leave the register and then quickly return after the theft was allowed. I wasn't aware staff had legal precedent to give people they know free items from the business they work for. This was about a week and a half ago, of August 2026. Don't feel safe at a location that participates in petty theft nor callously allows it.

While seemingly there are advantages to the ExtraCare/ExtraCare Plus, many customers simply want to pay for what they want and need and go home. Others don't have the "credentials" necessary, namely an email address, and that makes it impossible for them to participate. Today I saw an elderly couple not be able to make their purchase because the system couldn't enroll them without an email address, which they said several times they did not have one. Never did I hear the employee tell them that they could just make their purchase anyway. They left without what they needed. No apology, just "it won't let me do that without an email because there is nowhere to send..." And then it was my turn and I was greeted by "Next" (I was the only one standing there waiting) and called "Boss". Normally I look past this mannerism of the younger generation but today it made it clear that there seems to be a lack of respect for elders by some CVS employees. This is clearly a management failure. While the young man was never outrightly rude, he was never polite either. How about a bit more respect and understanding for the senior members of the community, who are a large part of the CVS customer base?

I found parking easily in the Devonshire Reseda Shopping Center this store is located in. When I walked inside the store, they were not busy at all. I saw no one was working the photo department and they already had one other guest waiting. They also took out the call for assistance button. So I went to the cashier to ask if anyone working the photo department. He basically just walked over there and handed the first guest his picture print. He then handed me the one he said was mine but when I checked, it wasn't my print and wasn't my name. He then got frustrated and left to go back to the cashier so I had to wait for another worker to come. My picture wasn't even put in the envelope, it was still at the printer area so the worker had to find it. This experience was bad but it seems like all Walgreens are like this now, the call for assistance button was helpful when they had it.
