Well ive been going to pharmacy's many years now and my freind mentioned them cause of my local Cvs didnt have my medication i was no looking for and wasted alot of my time saying they were gonna get it and didnt. They acted like they get paid by the hour so they dont care much. I have been using this pharmacy for the past year and have waited to leave a review. I wanted to make sure the service I got here was real and not a one time experience. So it's been a year and multiple times back and I can safely say this is the best pharmacy in the Valley. And without a doubt way way better than CVS across the street. Today, I realized I forgot to get my son's epipens for a trip that we are leaving in days. The doctor called in the prescription, and right away we were able to pick it up. I called and someone answered right away and spoke to me. Try getting someone at CVS to answer the phone. The gentleman has a British accent and was wearing a USC shirt that helped us and was not only professional, but treated us like we were his only customer. He went out of his way to figure out how to work with our insurance the best to get coverage. You know how tricky insurance is and how hard it is to get answers. He walked us through the process and made us customers for life. read more

This pharmacy was wonderful. And the gentleman who helped me via phone and then welcomed me in to the pharmacy was a huge help when I was calling very pharmacy in the valley. When you're kid is sick and you can't find the prescription they need, this being an inhaler, you go on a hunt. A little sad they did not take my insurance, but I completely understand, and at that point you do what you gotta do. If you took my insurance I would be a customer for sure. A gentleman that worked at the pharmacy (ahh don't know his name) came to my house and dropped it off AFTER the pharmacy was closed to make sure I got it. I have used Porter Ranch Pharmacy in the past, and they were always helpful and accommodating. Today I stopped by for a refill of a pain killer that they have refilled in the past. Unlike other times, the attitude was anything but helpful. Not only was I told they didn't have a common pain killer in stock, I was told they wouldn't order it. When I called to complain, the pharmacist hung up on me. Poor customer service! read more

I been going to porter ranch pharmacy for 4 years now not only for myself but also for my parents due to them being heart patients and high blood pressure and Chronic pain and the service they have is mind blowing very professional and understanding of the need of their patients. They are very helpful and understands the need of their clients if they don't have the meds that you need they will order it for you so you don't need to wait and go through agony and pain. The whole staff is very polite and helpful I would recommend this place to anyone and they also deliver by your door which makes it even more convenient. I give them 6 stars instead of 5. Extremely disappointed. I had just changed from another very reliable independent pharmacy from across town meaning to give local business owners in my own area more business but it was full of miscommunication and dissatisfaction. After clear communication from my physician's office and myself regarding my prescriptions , they still did not have the medication ready, after 3 full business days. The owner Mr. Phil, didn't even have the decency to look sincere when he "apologized"! He actually shrugged his shoulders and seemed as nonchalant and uncaring as could be! I got a call from Phil a little while ago and told me how much my Co-pay would be for some meds I'm in desperate need for. My heart sank! Best pharmacy I've ever been with! I'm so so sad they can't fill my script because of regulatory something or other or reaching demographic quota. Still- nicest people you'll ever meet! Literally wish I knew I had overpaid on my first visit. Now, they've given me the wrong manufacturer for my prescription after specifically telling me it was the manufacturer I normally use because this specific one I've always had a negative reaction to. Philip claimed to call my Psychiatrist to explain but never did and told me to destroy the medication and come back with a new script which makes no sense if he claims not to have the manufacturer I was told they were filling my medication with. On top of that he expects me to pay out of pocket now that this error on their end is causing my insurance to no longer cover my refill for this month. I will never use this place again nor would I recommend that anyone I know ever come here. Family owned or not it's not okay to try to overcharge and take advantage of customers. read more

It's Very hard to find a great pharmacy with people who remember you, give you world-class service, and tend to you in ways that only a mom and pop run business can.
