I didn't realize I was claustrophobic until I was being sent head first into an MRI machine. I…read morestarted panicking and the tech pulled me out. We tried again, but this time it was worse. She recommended finding an open MRI place and asking for a new referral to one of those locations. A quick Google search pulled up Advanced Open MRI of Tucson. I got all the needed calls made and referral was good to go. I spoke with Adam by phone and he was reassuring that once my appointment time came, I would be fine. He also assured me I could go in feet first and I appreciated that. On my appointment day, it was Adam who would be doing the scans. He was again reassuring that everything would be fine and checked on me immediately following each scan. The fact I could turn my head side to side was also a big help. I'd looked online and wasn't sure even open MRI would be for me because in the other one, but turning my head made all the difference seeing it was open. He played music of my choice and it's obvious he genuinely tries to make the patient comfortable. I was given a disc of the images and sent on my way. I highly recommend this place to anyone at all who suffers from claustrophobia and needs an MRI. They really want you to be at ease and that makes a world of difference. My last scans were sitting upright 10yrs ago, but that's not available in Tucson. This is definitely a great other option!

I could not get Simonmed to explain why and the earliest appointment they gave me was 3 weeks away. My doctor doesn't work friday to sunday so I had several sleepless nights before I found out that the reason for the letter was that the mammographer had failed to read my doctors initial referral for an ultrasound NOT because the nammogram had revealed a possible cancer.

Date of service: 2/9/2026, 9 am. Despite having a bit of scanxiety, this has been a positive environment. I feel seen and respected, unlike another imaging group I've seen in Tucson. As a breast cancer patient who will be being scanned on the regular for recurrence, I was anxious about this 1 year scan. Ultimately, I feel very good about the treatment & quality of care. If you know where the Trader Joe's is on Campbell, go ahead and turn into their parking lot and go to the back right where you'll see a separate building where Banner Advanced Imaging is located. Good parking close to front door. TLDR: Quality, caring staff. Excellent facility. Highly recommend. Disability accessible throughout.

The letter was to notify all patients that on May 18th, over three months prior to notification, they became aware of a security breach. All of our medical records, personal information and identification has bern stolen. Spent all morning freezing my credit. Thanks for sitting on this for over three months before letting me know so I could TRY to protect myself. You'll never see me again.

I truly enjoyed the personal touches of the welcome sign in the room and despite me only having one guest I did appreciate that she did not have a limit and the room was spacious. I've had to get regular labs my entire life, and I am so happy that I've found a place that turns what used to be a slog into an actually enjoyable experience!
