Through Wellspring, we found an incredible community and genuine friendships with people our age who are always up for doing something going to the beach, hanging out at a brewery, watching NFL games, going to the gym, or just spending time together. At first, I thought it might be a little weird for me because I've never considered myself the most "church person." But I quickly realized there were hundreds of other young people coming to Wellspring looking for the same thing we were: community, friendships, purpose, and a place to belong. Wellspring completely changed our experience living in Myrtle Beach. If you're new to the area, especially if you're a young adult struggling to meet people and find your community, I couldn't recommend Wellspring enough.

You feel the love when you walk into the building! The congregation does not need to be told to…read more"greet your neighbor," because everyone does it on their own. Especially new visitors. I have been to churches all over the country, and the friendliness and kindness here is unparalleled. This in no way takes away from the preaching. What could be better than line by line preaching of all of scripture, not just the nice parts. The bold, witness that the preacher and his family project inspires each attendee to focus on Jesus and what He did for each of us on the cross, and reject the corrupt values this world pressures us to join. Thank you.

Kelly have been attentive and loving pastors to this small congregation, and always show a hearty, spiritual welcome to any and all. God has, and will continue to honor their efforts, Did I still live in the area, I would gladly attend regularly. I extend my love to the saints there. I have many fond memories of my time spent among the saints of the Apostolic Church there, and I Thank God for the growth within the truth in that area. God Bless Bro. and Sis. I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased at how low the tuition is (again, single parent). I have really enjoyed the Sunday sermons and the team of pastors; they are wonderfully nice and engaging. The congregation is so warm and inviting. Anything you need just ask the pastor and he will do his best to help! I'm planning a move and when the pastor mentioned it to the congregation I had 2 offers to help me move. It's only a 30 mile journey or so. But it's so amazing that people will go out of their way to make sure you're good. I had a heart attack last week and the pastor announced that I told him no matter what I was going to church. I still was hurting but I made it just to see my "family" at the church and talk to God in his home.

I've…read morealready seen the World's Smallest Church in Winslow Arizona and the Smallest Church in America in South Newport Georgia, so this was of interest. (They're in my "Superlatives" collection.) Built in 1972 by Rev. Emory Young and volunteers, the chapel was inspired by a similar roadside church spotted in Washington state. Chiropractor Dr. Gaylord Kelly helped fund the project, and local businesses and churches pitched in. The result is a 12-by-24-foot structure with six petite pews that seat just twelve people. Despite its size, it's one of the smallest churches in America and has hosted hundreds of weddings over the decades. Inside, I found a narrow aisle, a guest book for prayers, and a quiet, welcoming atmosphere. The chapel has weathered storms, vandalism, and even Hurricane Matthew, thanks to the care of volunteers and passersby. Located just off Highway 501, it's easy to miss but worth the stop. It was a quick in-and-out today. A volunteer was here, probably keeping an eye on it on a Sunday morning. I didn't stay long. They do accept donations but I didn't spot a donation box.
