I explained that we had a movie in 10 minutes and just needed our bakery items. Instead of simply grabbing them for me, she responded with a rude attitude saying orders are processed in the order received. I would understand if I had ordered a drink but I was just waiting on cookies and a brownie, something that takes zero effort to grab. The interaction could have been handled much better and unfortunately this level of service seems to be the norm here. This store is right across the parking lot from St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral and caters to Episcopalians and other Christians in the books and other merchandise they carry. I have to preface this review with the disclaimer that I am a Presbyterian Minister (Teaching Elder) and I love books. This book store has a nice selection of books, they even have a nice selection, albeit only one 6 foot shelf, of used books. The store is nicely laid out and they also have a nice selection of jewelry, gifts, cards, and even some music cds. The staff was very helpful and they give a discount to clergy.
